We are tremendously proud to offer for sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T. Not a dime was spared and not detail was missed in this build. You can't find another 1968 Dodge Charger like it at this price!

This beautiful Charger started life out as a 440 4-speed car and is still equipped with the original 4-speed and Dana rear end. Power comes from a fire breathing Ray Barton 528 Hemi crate engine producing 650 horsepower! The Hemi is equipped with aluminum heads and intake with a single four-barrel carburetor feeding fuel. The engine is also fitted with a March Serpentine belt system and a 3-inch TTI exhaust system. This giant Hemi sits a little taller than the old 440. To clear the hood, some serious custom work was performed to the original steel hood. There are around 130-man hours in the hood alone! The builder started with a stock steel hood, relocated the recessed areas further out for the Duster scoop to fit between them. What a magnificent job! If you've ever restored a black car, you know how much time and patience it takes to get it right. The underside is also painted in a high gloss black and looks just as good as the top side. 17-inch Boyd Coddington aluminum wheels finish off the look. An adjustable coil over suspension and Alterkation K frame with rack and pinion steering give this Charger the perfect stance. Slowing down this 650-horsepower beast is a set of Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners. Power is transferred from the original 4-speed and back to the original Dana 60 rear housing 3.54:1 rear gears.

The interior has a very stock appearance to it; however, it was also fully restored like the rest of the car including all the gauges, seats, carpet and headliner. There is also controls for a new Classic Auto A/C unit. The build was a total rotisserie and was completed in 2011. Since its completion, the car has been shown nationally and received a 1st place at the Mopar Nationals in 2011 with a score of 995 of 1000 points, 2012 Gold Muscle Car Nationals with a 997 out of 1000, 2013 Magnificent 7 Winner, 2013 Gold at the Muscle Car Nationals in Chicago, 2013 1st at the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, KY, 2013 Best of Show at Mopar Happening in Belvedere, IL, 2014 Gold at Muscle Car Nationals in Chicago, 2015 1st place at World of Wheels Chicago.

The build has certainly proven itself with the mentioned awards. There are 300 miles since the completion. The proud new owner will receive a detailed photo album of the restoration and the original Broadcast Sheet proving this is an original R/T 440 4-speed car.

This is the car you want if you’re looking for comfort, style and big Hemi power. The Coronet reappeared for the 1965 model year as the intermediate sized B-body car using a 117 inche wheel base. When reintroduced in this 5th generation it was the biggest selling vehicle Dodge made that year! This is the 2-door hardtop version of the car which is one of the most desirable of the period. In 1966 Coronet received a redesign and you started to be able to get the 426 hemi as an option. The 440 Magnum that was in the R/T produced 375hp but the 426 Hemi pushed out a whopping 425hp! An incredible powerplant that has to be driven to truly appreciate. This is a numbers matching vehicle that even has the blue stripe tires that were only available from Mopar, only available for the Hemi and only available in 1966! Super rare stuff we are talking about here. This engine and transmission were rebuilt 27,000 miles ago when the car just went over 100,000 miles. The 426 Hemi goes through the factory automatic transmission and ends up at the 3.08 limited slip rear end. The exterior is a beautiful red color which looks excellent with the white vinyl interior. Features include an AM radio, spare tire, power brakes, power steering, jack and a spare tire. Rally whiles and the blue stripe bias ply tires really set the car off nicely. This beautiful Challenger has been well maintained through the years and is a R/T Tribute that has been loved by its current owner for the past 18 years. Powering this Mopar is a 440 CID V8 which has only around 9,500 miles on it since the rebuild. The engine is paired to a 727 Torque Flight transmission with Gear Vendor overdrive. The engine and transmission were both installed by the previous owner in the ‘90s. The gear vendor overdrive was installed by the current owner and works well. With 3.91 gears the car is a great cruiser but still has plenty of pick up if you want to have a little fun with it. The car sits on a set of American Mag wheels which are in great condition. The car also features disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. Don’t let this convertible slip away because it even has Classic Auto A/C and blows nice and cold for the summer heat. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a rare 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T Convertible. Only 628 Coronet R/T convertibles were produced by Dodge in 1967. They were available with either a 440 Magnum V8 or a 426 Hemi V8 engine, they were equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission or a 3-speed automatic transmission (727 Torqueflite). The Hemi powered Coronet Convertibles being extremely rare, with a total of only 6 known to exist. This particular 67’ Coronet is an actual R/T convertible and was born with a 440 Magnum. The current 440 Magnum V8 powering this 67’ Coronet is not the original numbers matching engine, but it is period correct. A 727 Torqueflite transmission transfers the power to the rear end with ease. The trim tag indicates that Dark Red Metallic was the original color for this Coronet R/T, The car has been resprayed over the years, at one point it was believed to have been teal, but all is right with the world again, as it is back to the original color. The black vinyl interior features bucket seats, console, and console mounted shifter. The Mopar rally wheels are wrapped in raised white letter radial tires that provide an awesome stance and complete the classic muscle car look. With options like power steering, power brakes, and automatic power top this 67’ Coronet R/T Convertible is a must have for any Mopar enthusiasts. The odometer reads 45,009, but the actual mileage is unknown. This 1970 Dodge Challenger was driven by Jack Nicholson in the 2007 movie, The Bucket List. This is not your run of the mill 1970 Dodge Challenger as its not an original car but a resto-mod created by famed muscle-car builder Ted Moser, who also built them for the Fast and Furious movie series. It’s powered by a late model 5.7-liter Hemi V8 backed by an automatic transmission. The whole package is brought to a halt by a set of Weldman disc brakes. After The Bucket List movie, the car appeared in a few TV roles, including on NCIS with Mark Harmon, and the 2010 movie, The Runaways. So, now you know where the cars been, but the best is yet to come. With less than 3000 miles on this build, the car has a ton of life left and is ready for someone to driver her. This good looking 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T is for sale in our Indianapolis showroom of Gateway Classic Cars. The data tag confirms this Challenger is a true R/T equipped with a 440 V8 390 HP 3-2BBL Carburetor (six-pack) set-up. The owner does not believe this to be the original 440 V8, but it is period correct to the car. The Yellow is not the original color to the car. Originally the color of this was Dark Burnt Orange Metallic with a white vinyl top. We think the yellow exterior and black vinyl top. The interior decodes as vinyl high back bucket seats, but it does not designate the color. The current owner is not completely sure about the rear end, but it originally came with a Super Performance Axle package with 4.10 gears. The complete breakdown of the data tag is available upon request. Overall, this Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack is in very good condition. With the recent work done to the Challenger, it will bring the fun factor. You may want to set aside a little cash as this car is very capable of melting the rear tires. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1968 dodge Dart. This bad to the bone Dart is both show and go! The meticulous restoration was a no expense spared job that included a lot of high performance goodies. Power comes from a built 451 based from a 400 block that features aluminum main caps, Veolia Pistons, Bill Mille aluminum rods, 3.375 billet crank and roller cam and lifters. The cylinder heads are aluminum Indy 440 1 cylinder heads as well as an Indy aluminum intake manifold and a CNC ported valley pan. It's equipped with a Milidon oiling system, Milidon oil pan, custom push rods, K Motion valve springs, Stainless steel valves with lockers and retainers, Mopar performance aluminum water pump and a Holley 1050 Dominator carburetor. Exhaust and the menacing sounds that emit from this power house come out of custom headers, exhaust and Borla mufflers. This power needs something just as stout to transfer the power back to the rear wheels. Accomplishing that is a TCI Power Glide transmission, TCI torque converter, Jerry Bickel Chromoly drive shaft with billet trans and rear end yokes, Strange 9 inch with 40 spline spool, 4.56:1 gears and Strange 40 spline axles. Putting the power to ground is no easy task. Accomplishing this feat are Strange double adjustable rear shocks, Chassis Works ladder bar, Strange struts, Strange Rack and Pinion steering and 19.5 Mickey Thompsons wrapped around Weld Racing Aluma Star wheels. Up front are 26x5 Good Years also wrapped around Weld Racing Aluma Stars. Slowing things down is drama free thanks to a set of Strange four wheel disc brakes, Strange master cylinder and steel braided brake lines. Safety is one thing that shouldn't be taken for granted and certainly not missed. This one is ready to hold you in place and keep you safe. Doing so is a custom 12 point roll cage and Stroud 5 point racing belts. Other notable build details include a Hurst roll control line lock, Hurst Quarter Stick shifter, Griffin radiator, Barry Grant fuel system (400 pump & 4 port regulator), Painless wiring harness, Jazz 15 gallon fuel cell and of course beautiful workmanship that shows through and through. And who could forget "Hemi", the incredible V8 that led Chrysler through an era of epic performance. The front bucket and rear bench seats are wrapped in pliable vinyl covers that display hardly any signs of wear. The wood-trimmed dash seats correct Rallye gauges and has been painstakingly restored to its original glory. In front of the driver, a correct steering wheel mixes subtle form with major function. Stock, these trucks were not to mess with because they're equipped with 500 horsepower. However, this one is not stock. The heads were pulled, a thinner head gasket installed for a small bump in compression, new MOPAR slow bleed lifters, new pushrods, valve springs, new camshaft, Screamin Demon coils, wires and an ARP head stud kit. If that isn't enough, there's also a 150 shot of nitrous oxide ready to make this into a 600+ horsepower animal, or should I say reptile. Crew cab form allows you take a few more passengers that are brave enough to ride in this overpowered Super truck. Shifting is smooth and precise in automatic form. The transmission has also been tweaked with some go fast goodies. A 3,000 stall convertor, triple disc billet torque converter with billet solenoids. There's also a one piece aluminum driveshaft to help reduce drivetrain weight that sends power back to a Dana Super 70 with 4.56 gears, Cal Tracs traction system, headers with 3 inch stainless exhaust and 3 inch catless mid pipe all into a Magna Flow muffler. Due to the lack of a catalytic converter, you should check your local emission's laws for legality. This Viper powered truck isn't just about power, cosmetics were also tended to and include powder coated wheels, painted front splitter with four struts, Candy Apple Brandywine stripes with ghost Viper emblems, all clear coated for long lasting pizazz. Under the hood is more and includes powder coated valve covers, Overflow tanks, A/C condenser brackets, fuse box and radiator covers.
