We are tremendously proud to offer for sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T. Not a dime was spared and not detail was missed in this build. You can't find another 1968 Dodge Charger like it at this price!

This beautiful Charger started life out as a 440 4-speed car and is still equipped with the original 4-speed and Dana rear end. Power comes from a fire breathing Ray Barton 528 Hemi crate engine producing 650 horsepower! The Hemi is equipped with aluminum heads and intake with a single four-barrel carburetor feeding fuel. The engine is also fitted with a March Serpentine belt system and a 3-inch TTI exhaust system. This giant Hemi sits a little taller than the old 440. To clear the hood, some serious custom work was performed to the original steel hood. There are around 130-man hours in the hood alone! The builder started with a stock steel hood, relocated the recessed areas further out for the Duster scoop to fit between them. What a magnificent job! If you've ever restored a black car, you know how much time and patience it takes to get it right. The underside is also painted in a high gloss black and looks just as good as the top side. 17-inch Boyd Coddington aluminum wheels finish off the look. An adjustable coil over suspension and Alterkation K frame with rack and pinion steering give this Charger the perfect stance. Slowing down this 650-horsepower beast is a set of Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners. Power is transferred from the original 4-speed and back to the original Dana 60 rear housing 3.54:1 rear gears.

The interior has a very stock appearance to it; however, it was also fully restored like the rest of the car including all the gauges, seats, carpet and headliner. There is also controls for a new Classic Auto A/C unit. The build was a total rotisserie and was completed in 2011. Since its completion, the car has been shown nationally and received a 1st place at the Mopar Nationals in 2011 with a score of 995 of 1000 points, 2012 Gold Muscle Car Nationals with a 997 out of 1000, 2013 Magnificent 7 Winner, 2013 Gold at the Muscle Car Nationals in Chicago, 2013 1st at the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, KY, 2013 Best of Show at Mopar Happening in Belvedere, IL, 2014 Gold at Muscle Car Nationals in Chicago, 2015 1st place at World of Wheels Chicago.

The build has certainly proven itself with the mentioned awards. There are 300 miles since the completion. The proud new owner will receive a detailed photo album of the restoration and the original Broadcast Sheet proving this is an original R/T 440 4-speed car.

1970 Dodge Challenger

1970 Dodge Challenger

Engine: 440 V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 94,483 ( actual )

This good looking 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T is for sale in our Indianapolis showroom of Gateway Classic Cars. The data tag confirms this Challenger is a true R/T equipped with a 440 V8 390 HP 3-2BBL Carburetor (six-pack) set-up. The owner does not believe this to be the original 440 V8, but it is period correct to the car. The Yellow is not the original color to the car. Originally the color of this was Dark Burnt Orange Metallic with a white vinyl top. We think the yellow exterior and black vinyl top. The interior decodes as vinyl high back bucket seats, but it does not designate the color. The current owner is not completely sure about the rear end, but it originally came with a Super Performance Axle package with 4.10 gears. The complete breakdown of the data tag is available upon request. Overall, this Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack is in very good condition. With the recent work done to the Challenger, it will bring the fun factor. You may want to set aside a little cash as this car is very capable of melting the rear tires. This 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T has new brakes, new Holley carburetors (six-pack set-up) and the heads have been reworked. Options for this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T include; AM radio, Seat Belts, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Chrome Cragar Wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial Tires. 1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee

1969 Dodge Coronet Super Bee

Engine: 440 CID V8 Six Pack
Transmission: 727 Torqueflite
Mileage: 43,795 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars is honored to present this 1969 ½ Dodge A-12 M-code Super Bee. Let's start off by defining the word rare. Rare by definition means, “not found in large numbers” or, “unusually good or remarkable.” Well… RARE is the perfect word to explain this A12 M-code “Killer” Super Bee. With a full restoration performed less than six months ago, this Super Bee is turnkey and ready to go. You may ask yourself what is so unique about this 1969 ½ Dodge Super Bee. I’m glad you asked. An A12 M-code MoPar car drastically sets itself apart from the typical “Muscle Cars.” A12 M-code cars were like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of “Muscle Cars.” They were pure, pumped up, menacing, high-performance vehicles that swarmed at every opportunity to sting the competition that dared to get in its way. A12 cars were offered with a 440 cubic-inch monster motor, adorned with a “Six-Pack” (three two-barrel carburetors). M-code cars were a special order package that equipped these outstanding cars with a Dana 60 axle with 4:10 gear ratio, heavy-duty automatic and a “lift-off” flat black scooped hood. The A12 package did not stop there. It also includes heavy-duty internal engine parts, black steel rims with high-performance G-70 15 inch tires, and heavy-duty 11-inch drum brakes. This is a “Numbers Matching” 1969 ½ Dodge Super Bee with all the correct matching components an A12 M-code car is suppose to have as stated above. With only 45,000 documented miles this jewel is a superb investment. You can make this a centerpiece in your collection. There were only 1,487 Super Bee two-door Hardtops built in 1969 for the U.S. market with a 440 six-barrel 390 horsepower engine. Of those, 826 were built with a A833 4-speed manual transmission and 661 constructed with an A727 3-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. This is one of the 661 A727 automatics. No one truly knows how many of these ultra-rare cars are still in existence, but we know not all of them made it this far. Some found their destiny with the “car crusher.” Others rotted away in fields, and some are still hiding behind barn doors. This Super Bee was found in Fort Morgan, Colorado like many other “Muscle Cars” sitting in a barn locked away from the public. The car is a true “Vitamin C” Orange code, offset by black vinyl bucket seat interior. Options include AM Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Posi Traction. This 1969 ½ Dodge A-12 M-code Super Bee is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. 1970 Dodge Super Bee V-Code

1970 Dodge Super Bee V-Code

Engine: 440-6 V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 89,085 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Dodge Super Bee. This 440-6 4 speed car benefits from a recent frame off restoration and looks fantastic. The restoration was very detailed and focused on correctness. The engine and transmission were rebuilt at the time of restoration and have covered a modest 500 miles. Enough for proper break in, yet still very fresh. The engine is a warranty replacement from many years ago and the car is equipped with a correct Dana 60 rear end, appropriate for a 6 pack car equipped with a 4 speed. Options are slim but let’s face it, it’s a high performance muscle car... who cares about options. Big block power and a four speed, yes and yes! The three 2 barrel carbs are dialed in nicely. The colors for this rare Mopar are original and perfect for nostalgia. Who else is tired of every car being repainted red? We must save the rare colors from the good days. Burnt Orange Metallic with a white Super Bee stripe over a Sunfire Orange vinyl interior and a set of body colored steel wheels wrapped in redline radials make this car stand out. Whoever spec'd out this car knew exactly what they were doing. Inside are bucket seats, a full array of gauges and a pistol grip shifter. With 390 horsepower and 490 lbs./ft. torque, this 1970 Super Bee is ready to go! 1968 Dodge Dart GTS

1968 Dodge Dart GTS

Engine: 340 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 300 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars now has a very special and beautiful 1968 Dodge Dart GTS Convertible available in Houston! This one is powered by a numbers matching 340 CID V8 engine that goes through a factory TorqueFlite transmission. This engine has only covered less than 500 miles since the car was restored in 2013. Exterior is finished in a red with black top combination. Features include an AM radio, automatic convertible top, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, jack, seat belts, vinyl interior and radial tires. This is part of the fourth generation of Dodge Dart vehicles produced between 1967 and 1976. The Dart was substantially redesigned for the 1967 model year. It received new styling, revised steering systems, wider front track and frame rail spacing. Redesigned K-members were added to accept the larger engines that Dodge had in mind for the car. In 1967 you would also notice the rear window with inverse curves, creating a new and unique appearance at the rear of a greenhouse, but designed to collect snow! The 170 CID I6 was dubbed simply “Dart”, with the 270 and GT carrying on mostly unchanged. In late 1967 the GTS came out in limited quantities due to it’s lateness, but the 1968 was arguably improved anyway, by fitting the new high-output 340 CID V8! That is the car that you are looking at here. The first of the 340 GTS cars. Aside from the engine, changes for 1968 were relatively subtle. The park and turn lights in the grille were moved slightly inboard and made round. Side marker lights were added to the front fenders and rear quarter panels, to comply with newly introduced Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108. Shoulder harnesses (separate, this year and until 1973, from the lap belts) and non-glare matte finish on the windshield wiper arms were also part of the 1968 federally mandated safety package. This is a hard to find vehicle and a perfect addition to the garage. 1966 Dodge Dart GT

1966 Dodge Dart GT

Engine: 273 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 60,706 ( undocumented )

Our Atlanta Showroom is proud to offer this 1966 Dodge Dart for sale. This 4 barrel 273ci V8 is mated to an automatic transmission. It has been upgraded to factory Dodge disc brakes an has the factory GT emblems. The 1966 Dart remained largely the same as the 1965 models with the same engine and transmission lineup. There was a special 273 offered, however, in the D/Dart, a special drag racing edition. Also, the ball and trunion front joint was replaced with a more common U-joint and the 904 transmissions were now shifted with linkages instead of cables. The only change to the suspension was an optional, small front sway bar. An effective facelift with more squared-off lines, a new rectangular grille, and rectangular headlight bezels was introduced. The intention of the facelift was to better mimic the new Charger. The special drag racing D/Dart was classed in the D/Stock class and featured a 273 with larger Holley carb, headers, hotter cam, and manual choke. It was only offered on two-door GT models. Options include: After Market AC, AM radio, Seat Belts, radial Tires, rally wheels. The only thing it is missing is you in the driver’s seat! 1970 Dodge Challenger

1970 Dodge Challenger

Engine: 440 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 2,878 ( since rebuilt )

Through the years of fans and enthusiasts, certain automotive terminology tends to build its own appeal. For example, in most gearheads' minds the term "Plum Crazy" recalls one of Chrysler's most creative and confident eras. "R/T", short for Road/Track, invokes visions of muscle cars prowling small town streets. "Dana 60" or "Scat Pak" incites visions of late-night stoplight brawls and octane-fueled quarter-miles. And who could forget "Hemi", the incredible V8 that led Chrysler through an era of epic performance. If you are looking for first class Mopar muscle then look no further than this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack car sporting the iconic Plum Crazy purple paint on the exterior with black vinyl top. Being 1 of only 847 Challengers in 1970 to have the 440 Six Pack mated to a 4 speed manual adds even more excitement to owning this classic piece of American muscle. Given its resurgence in popularity, no doubt aided by the current LC-based version, the Challenger is considered by some to be the quintessential American muscle car: a status that naturally invokes an aggressive and exciting aesthetic. At the front of this Challenger, a 1970-exclusive grille hangs an unmistakable "Challenger R/T" badge between pristine headlights, amber parking lamps and a mirrored bumper. Behind that grille, a pinned, Hemi-branded hood props bold "D O D G E" lettering in front of clean glass that is framed in correct stainless and capped by correct vinyl. At the sides of that hood, a sculpted profile hangs correct R/T stripes amid fresh rocker trim, flush door handles, a correct mirror and ornate ""Challenger"" scripts. And at the back of the car, a stainless-trimmed valence centers body-width taillights and more ""D O D G E"" lettering between a second ""Challenger R/T"" badge, a second mirrored bumper and correct, quad-outlet exhaust tips. Open this coupe's light hood and you'll find the legendary, 440 cubic inch Hemi that, while not original to the car, is a date-correct piece that has been professionally rebuilt and maintained to keep it’s nostaligic looks and performance. All of the 390 horses reside in a glossy Hemi Orange block. And exhaust is handled by correct, low-restriction exhaust manifolds that feed an H-shaped crossover. Slide under this spotless E-Body and you'll find a solid chassis that's ready for the turntable. Satin Black paint highlights exceptionally clean floors that have been finished to better-than-new condition. Behind the Hemi, lives the original 4 speed manual transmission to the car that is tight and shifts like new. Helping transfer all of this excitement to the pavement are is the factory Dana rear end that houses a set of 3.54 gears. Stops come courtesy of correct power front disc and rear drum brakes. And all this Mopar goodness rolls on stylish Rallye Wheels, which twist radial tires with raised white lettering around polished trim rings and silver center caps. Peak your head in the window of this car and you'll find a correct Black interior that's functional, straightforward and very comfortable. The front bucket and rear bench seats are wrapped in pliable vinyl covers that display hardly any signs of wear. Below those seats, stain-free carpet floats Challenger-themed mats at the sides of a correct, wood-trimmed console and cool Pistol Grip Shifter. The wood-trimmed dash seats correct Rallye gauges and has been painstakingly restored to its original glory. In front of the driver, a correct steering wheel mixes subtle form with major function. And behind the passengers, a nicely finished trunk centers a correct jack and space saver spare tire between a correct mat and new decklid decal. 1975 Dodge Dart Swinger

1975 Dodge Dart Swinger

Engine: 360 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 57,161 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1975 Dodge Dart Swinger in Our Louisville Showroom. Over its original 13-year production run, the Dart earned a good reputation. The Dart was one of the most successful compact cars ever introduced in the American automobile marketplace. It enjoys a strong owner loyalty and is a car that has established a reputation for reliability and value. These little Darts also had a reputation for being fast when properly equipped. This Mopar Orange example has been properly equipped for speed. This Dart could almost be considered a sleeper, but the intimidating hood scoop and big/little Weld Racing Drag Lites give it away that this is just not another reliable or cost-effective Dart. As soon as the key is turned and the engine rumbles to life, you suddenly realize this Dart means business. Under the hood of this bright orange Dart is a built up 360 CID V8 engine. The engine has been bored .030 for a little extra displacement and to insure the rings are sealing for compression of the pistons. Feeding this healthy little 360 V8 is a Holley 750 cfm dual line carburetor. The sent gases exit through a new set of headers and exit through axle dumps. The rear end has been slightly narrowed so that meatier (wider) tires and wheels can be mounted for better traction. The rear end is a posi-traction unit and has been loaded with 4.10 gears. The white vinyl interior is still mostly factory original with only the addition of a Ratchet Shifter, a big Tachometer, water temperature and an oil pressure gauge. If you been looking for a fun little strip/strip car that won’t break the bank, then hear it is. Call soon before someone else is tearing up the streets in this muscular Dart. Options for this 1975 Dodge Dart Swinger include; AM Radio, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Weld Racing polished Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires.
