For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a lovely 1926 Ford Model T four door sedan. Ford's biggest contribution to the automotive industry was the assembly line. This manufacturing system originally built Model Ts like this one and now is used industry wide to produce today's automobiles. The first Model T rolled off the line on October 1, 1908, and the last drove away in 1927. In that 19 year span just over 15 million Model Ts were produced. A record that would hold until 1972, when it was surpassed by the Volkswagen Beetle. This great little T is sporting its original Flathead inline 4 cylinder engine and stock running gear. The car has been completely restored including a beautiful coat of gray and black two-tone paint approximately 10 years ago. The chrome shines and the look is completed with a cheery set of yellow wire wheels. The interior has been recovered and the underside painted as well. Options for this 1926 Ford Model T include: Cloth Interior, Bias Ply Tires, and Wire Wheels. In the last couple years this Model T has received new tires, exhaust system, engine pulleys and belts, and battery ignition conversion kit. This is a car that is ready to drive, show, and enjoy. It would be a perfect to star in a local parade as well. 1927 Ford Roadster

Engine: 250 CID Inline 6
Transmission: M21 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 1588 ( undocumented )

This 1927 Ford Roadster is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom and with just over 1500 miles on the build it is sure to not last long. This 27 is a great looking car that has a ton of time and money spent on it. The builder decided he wanted something different when he started the project so instead of using your normal run of the mill SBC he opted for a great looking 250 CID straight 6. Since he planned on driving it the estimated 30+ MPG was an added bonus. Once he received his straight 6 motor he decided to outfit it with a set of Offenhauser heads that give this straight 6 an amazing amount of low end grunt. The icing on the cake of you will is the great looking tri carb set up. This set up not only looks amazing but is another way that this 27 stands out from the crowd. With the engine complete the next decision was what transmission? Sure you could go with the typical 3 speed automatic but that’s not really "different". Having that said the owner decided to put a 4 speed close ratio transmission in it. With the drive train intact figuring out how to stop it was the next step. A set of disk brakes was used in the front giving this 27 plenty of stopping power. Keeping everything rolling down the road are a set of Hoosier radials 235/75/15 on the back and 195/70/14 on the front give this roadster a great stance. Once the body was sprayed with a Matte Black finish the interior was the only thing left. The bench seat was covered in comfortable cloth and complimented with leather accents. To complete the interior with its out of the ordinary touch a 7 inch flip out CD/DVD was installed that completes the out of the ordinary theme. Features for this 1927 Ford Roadster include; AM/FM/CD/DVD, Radial Tires, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, and Raised Lettering . 1925 Ford Model T

Engine: 177 CID I4
Transmission: 2-Speed Manual
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this extremely cool 1925 Ford Model T. Between the extensive powertrain work and original sheet metal, this car is a clean example of a Model T. Under the hood of this American icon is a 2.9-liter inline four cylinder engine that was good for roughly 20 horsepower when new. The engine was rebuilt roughly 75 miles ago and upgraded with a 12V distributor and battery to improve reliability and drivability. Although the car has been upgraded, the original coil box remains in the car. Sending what little power this car has to the rear wheels is a two speed manual transmission with a very unique shifting sequence. The transmission was also rebuilt with the engine. Moving inward, the interior of this car is barren with no modern amenities or luxuries. When this car was produced, it was meant to be a cheap means of transportation for the masses with little to no focus on comfort or styling. Although there are really no features to speak of, the condition of the interior on this T is very good. The exterior of this T is finsished in black to stay true to the only original color option. The paint is in good condition and highlights the cars curves and style. Laying beneath the paint is the original sheet metal from when the car was new almost 100 years ago. Overall the condition of this T is very nice and this would make an excellent weekend toy or parade car! For more information on this 1925 Ford Model T located in our Houston showroom, come by and see us or call the showroom at (832) 243-6220, or email the showroom at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com
