For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a classic 1926 Studebaker Duplex Phaeton. This 26’ Studebaker is believed to be a 3-owner car. The first owner from 1926 to 1955, and the second from 1955 to 2017. It received a respray of the green exterior paint sometime in the late 50’s. The paint has held up well, as it does not show any checking in the paint. The hardtop does show some age, it has not been restored, the owner wanted to keep it as original as possible. The interior also appears to be original, the leather upholstery is aged to perfection, and has a super cool look to it. The back seat has plenty of legroom available, and features a footrest for further comfort. This Studebaker is powered by Studebaker’s famous Big 6 inline six-cylinder engine. A manual transmission transfers the muscle to the pavement, double clutching is preferred. The odometer reads 49,616, although the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1926 Studebaker Duplex Phaeton include: Leather Interior, Wooden Steering Wheel, Wooden Spoked Wheels, Seat Belt, Tilting Windshield, and Bias Ply Tires. The 1926 Studebaker Duplex Phaeton with a 75 horsepower Big 6 engine is considered by some to be the first muscle car. With the premise of a muscle car being a mid-size automobile optioned with a full-size automobile engine. The Studebaker Duplex Phaeton was also popular among desert law officers. Of the 15 counties in Arizona, 12 of them drove this Studebaker model. This particular '26 Studebaker fires up and runs like a top. It is ready for a new owner to enjoy it in parades, shows, or just driving around town on a nice day. HIGH VALUE VEHICLES

2006 Ford GT

2006 Ford GT

Engine: 5.4L V8
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
Mileage: 6,218 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this very rare 2006 Ford GT for sale. The Ford GT began as a concept car designed in anticipation of the automaker's centennial year and as part of its drive to showcase and revive its "heritage" names such as Mustang and Thunderbird. The GT was produced for the 2005 and 2006 model years, with the first customers taking delivery in August 2004. Of the 4,500 GTs originally planned, approximately 100 were to be exported to Europe, starting in late 2005. An additional 200 were destined for sale in Canada. Production ended in 2006 without reaching the planned lot. Approximately 550 were built in 2004, nearly 1,900 in 2005, and just over 1,600 in 2006, for a grand total of 4,038. The Ford GT features many new and unique technologies, including superplastic-formed frame, aluminum body panels, roll-bonded floor panels, a friction stir welded center tunnel, covered by a magnesium center console, a "ship-in-a-bottle" gas tank, a cap less fuel filler system, one-piece door panels, and an aluminum engine cover with a one-piece carbon fiber inner panel. Brakes are four-piston aluminum Brembo calipers with cross-drilled and vented rotors at all four corners. When the rear canopy is opened, the rear suspension components and engine are visible. The mid-mounted 5.4L V-8 engine is made from all aluminum and has a twin screw-type supercharger. What does this mean, well it means 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque which makes for a super-fast 0-60mph in 3.3 seconds! This car is a blast to drive especially as your shifting through the gears of a Ricardo 6-speed manual transmission fitted to a helical limited-slip differential. What makes this car even more rare is the exterior color being black and having the race stripe delete option, which you will not see this combination in a 2006 Ford GT very often at all. Also, with black leather interior and the Mcintosh sound system, forged alloy wheels and painted calipers you will not see a better-looking sports car than this Ford GT for sale. With just barely over 6,000 actual miles on this 2006 Ford GT, this beast is barely broken in and ready for thousands of more miles of pure performance and fun! Options on this 2006 Ford GT for sale are: A/C, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, leather interior and performance tires wrapped around forged alloy wheels. 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

Engine: 327 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to present this 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. We all dreamed about finding a “unicorn” car. A car so rare it sends the collector car world into a frenzy. There are very few cars that call mass hysteria. The ones that come to mind are the 1966 Shelby Cobra twin-turbocharged “Super Snake” (2 made 1 survivor) or a “Dodge Daytona”, another limited production car. If you can locate one of these cars, they bring six and seven figures in the collector car world. So, if these cars are bringing in that kind of money and are cars people know existed, then what value would you put on a car that never was supposed to exist? This brings me to the term “ghost”, or “phantom” car. These cars are vehicles that were never supposed to leave the manufacture for one reason or another. In this particular case, Chevrolet completely shut down the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport program deeming it against the corporate racing policy. There are five confirmed early Grand Sport’s, with talks of a sixth that has never been verified. In the early days of race car and muscle car production, manufactures were known to send parts and cars out the “backdoor.” What are we dealing with here when talking about this 1963 Chevrolet Grand Sport? This car was purchased from the previous owner who owned it for 37 years. The current owner bought the car in pieces and is responsible for presenting it now as a finished car. The previous owner resided in Michigan and started collecting parts to return the car back to its glory days. Once health issues started settling in, he was forced to move on from the Vette. The previous owner stated the car had its tubular frame replaced, which I’m assuming was due to rot. Once the current owner acquired the car in pieces, he began a journey along with a GM specialist, to restore the “Grand Sport” back to its hay day. After a long, extensive restoration period, the car is done in white exterior and red interior. You can see right off there are some very telling signs that this Grand Sport Vette is not one of the 5 or 6 that were raced. It shows newer style seats and reproduction wheels. It does have the cross-ram racing intake with the Weber carburetors. It also has a 1963 casting number block, and a 200 mile per hour speedometer. You’re correct, that’s not enough to say this is possibly a “Real” Grand Sport 1963 Corvette. The absolute two most important attributes of this car are its VIN and the TITLE. The VIN number reads S0837X10008 and the TITLE matches. All of the experts are sure about what this car is until it comes to one question they can’t explain. How does this car have that VIN number and a matching title? The experts have said this is an authentic Chevrolet VIN plate. So… if it is a “real” 1963 Chevrolet Corvette displaying characteristics that only the Grand Sport Vette VIN plates had, then technically this would be a real 1963 Chevrolet Grand Sport, right? The owner also states this is a Numbers Matching 327 engine, and 4-speed manual transmission. Is this a “unicorn”? A mythical car that somehow made its way out of the backdoor of the GM plant. That would explain why documentation is virtually non-existent. Options include Vinyl Interior, Kill Switch, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, and Weber 42 Carb System. This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
