Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a stunning 1966 Chevrolet Nova II. This little sweetie is just about as clean as they come. This is the cherry little Chevy you always wanted in high school. The body is jet black and it is a heck of a paintjob. It's so deep it looks like you could reach your hands right into it. The body is nice and straight and shows beautifully even under black paint which can show every flaw. It sits on rally wheels and has the appropriate Nova badging to keep the appearance nice and stock. All the chrome and trim is in beautiful shape which makes all the difference in a car like this. Under the hood is a freshly rebuilt 350 CID Chevy small block which provides more than enough power for a lightweight car like this. Behind the 350 is a Muncie 4 speed manual transmission which keeps the drive involved like the good ole days. To keep things easy and comfortable, this baby has power steering, power brakes, and even Air Conditioning. With all those goodies, it's just about the perfect Nova. Sway bars both front and rear help keep her planted in the corners. This car is detailed top to bottom and would be at home at almost any car show. What more could you want from a classic muscle car? A beautiful paintjob, a 4 speed, and air conditioning; it has it all. You can see this beautiful 1966 Chevrolet Nova in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer one of the coolest muscle cars – The 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS. One of the toughest little overachievers ever to harass traditional midsize muscle cars was the 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS. Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this incredible example of American muscle, a 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS! Representing the third generation of Chevy’s famed performance car, the 1969 Nova SS had evolved from the compact Chevy II to a competition threat due to its modest size and impressive powerplant. Featuring attractive restyling and an array of performance upgrades, the Nova was met with great success and garnered attention thanks to gearheads, racers and dealerships like Yenko Chevrolet that were unleashing street beasts to the public. This gorgeous Nova SS started life at the Willow Run Assembly plant just outside Ypsilanti, Michigan. From there it was received and sold by British American Chevrolet Oldmosbile Ltd. In Toronto, Ontario. Since 1969, the car has had four owners who have taken great care to preserve its story including a beautiful restoration. Wearing a stunning shade of Burnished Brown, this Chevy sets itself apart from the others as its glimmers under the lights. A set of sporty magnum wheels subtly contribute to the aggressive stance of this car. A crisp black vinyl interior welcomes you and assures you that great times are ahead. Take a seat in the front buckets and wrap your hands around steering wheel marked with the familiar SS emblem. Note the center console that holds factory performance gauges and a Hurst® shifter that is linked to the Muncie M22 four-speed heavy duty manual transmission, an option only carried by 682 Novas that year. Buckle up and turn that key to breathe life into this street machine; you’ll have goosebumps within seconds. Pop open the hood to gaze upon the heart and soul of the car, the numbers matching L78 396 CID V8 engine rated at an impressive 375 horsepower! Press on the gas and get ready to fly as this 396 means business! Couple that to a 12-bolt rear axle with 3:73 rear gears and you’ll be cruising comfortably as well as leaving the other guys in the dust! If you’re on the lookout for a gorgeous muscle car, look no further as this Canadian Chevy is your ticket to happiness. Now for sale in our Houston showroom, Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is pleased to present this custom-built 1969 Chevrolet Nova race car. Bathed in the well-known performance shade of Hugger Orange, this Nova is turn-key ready for the track. This car was built by Pyle Brothers in Baytown, TX, and the professional build quality is evident. From the full tubular chassis and integrated roll cage, one can easily spot a purpose-built drag car. Sporting a huge snorkel hood scoop, Strange Engineering high-torque axles, and Strange Engineering braking (multipiece slotted and drilled rotors front and rear, Strange multi-piston calipers front and rear), multi-piece Weld Drag wheels at all four corners, M/T skinnies up front, M/T 33x15.0x15 slicks out back, and wheelie bars, this car says "race-only baby!", even from a distance. Under the hood is a massive 490 CID big block Chevy V8 (built by Houston Engine and Balancing), sporting Dart heads and valve covers, an Edelbrock high-rise aluminum manifold, Holley race carb, and a gigantic deep sump oil pan. Uncapped race headers help route the spent combustion mix, which they do very effectively, and with tremendous sound and fury. Twin electric fans keep the radiator temp in check, and the electric water pump keeps the coolant flowing with no loss of power or cooling efficiency. A competition-prepped GM Powerglide 2-speed automatic handles the single gear change from tree to the finish line, and it'll take everything that 490 CID V8 can dish out, plus more. A full competition-approved fuel cell and the trunk-mounted Optima battery are easy to get to by removing the Dzus-fastened trunk, and more Dzus fasteners allow easy access to key driveline components normally covered by the floor pan. Out back, a Ford 9-inch rear end serves as part of a fully adjustable multi-link rear suspension with Drag Coil-over shocks and wheelie bar serve to keep the rear end planted and the front end out of the sky at launch. Inside, the driver has all controls within easy reach, and fingertip controls make it easy, with the Painless wiring setup and control panel being reachable even when the driver is fully belted into the Kirkey racing bucket with the massive Simpson race harness. This back-halved car is ready to hit the strip with no excuses, and is ready for the pit crew between passes, with its abundant Dzus fasteners providing easy on/off of hood and trunk. The chassis and cage are 2016 NHRA certified, with certification number A710909, for 8.50 and slower ET vehicles. A full set of gauges help the driver keep track of critical functions, and a removable steering wheel helps for easier ingress/egress before and after your hot passes. For night racing at the track, you'll like the fact that the headlights, taillights, and brake lights all work. If you're looking for a turn-key 9 second drag car, this is the one you want. This is a race only vehicle and does not come with a title. If you like low E.T.'s this is a great starting point. For more information on this 1969 Chevrolet Nova race car for sale, please call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220; or email us at "Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com". To see more of it, go to our website: www.GatewayClassicCars.com, where you'll see HD photos and an HD video of it in operation. 1979 Chevrolet Corvette

1979 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 350 CID V8 Crate Engine
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 61,265 ( actual )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a gloss black 1979 Chevrolet Corvette. The gloss black paint was sprayed 5 years ago in a 2-stage enamel and clear application. The oyster in color cloth interior has been upgraded by way of black leather bolsters in the seats and woodgrain trim on the console. A rack and pinion steering setup and coil over shocks in the rear help this Corvette handle better than it did when new. A Crate 350 CID V8 was installed 6 years ago and runs strong! The V8 engine features alloy valve covers, Edlebrock aluminum intake, a Holley fuel injection setup, and a D.U.I. distributor. An aluminum radiator has been employed to keep this Crate 350 cool on hot days. A rebuilt 700R4 automatic transmission was installed 3 years ago and shifts the power beautifully to the IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) with 3.08 gears. The odometer reads 61,265, which represents the actual mileage on the car, and approximately 25,000 on the Crate V8 engine. Options for this 1979 Chevrolet Corvette include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, T-Tops, Cruise Control, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Dropping a more powerful V8 engine is a very popular thing to do to a late C3 Corvette and should not be frowned upon by the purist. The original power output was certainly not Corvette worthy. This is a great example of a driver quality Corvette that is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner for years to come. To view this 1979 Chevrolet Corvette in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom.
