The long muscular body lines and unrelenting Mopar performance made these Chargers a true American tire shredder. Although there a few signs of age on the restoration, the metallic Candy Red paint has a beautiful shine perfect for any local car show. Complementing the exterior are the black vinyl top, R/T style chrome bumpers and square chrome dual exhaust tips. The black interior is clean and simple with bucket seats and chrome center console.
Originally a 318 car, this Charger has undergone a custom restoration with a transplanted 440ci engine mated to a 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission. While the engine and transmission are not numbers matching to the car itself, both the engine and transmission are a matching set. It comes with Edelbrock Aluminum intake, 4-barrel carburetor, chrome valve covers and breather. The upgraded front disc brakes behind the American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and SureGrip rear end will help make car show cruises a breeze.

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this super cool 1968 Dodge SuperBee. Between the classy paint job and the healthy engine, this car is sure to turn heads while cruising down the highway. Under the hood of this beauty is a 383 CID V8 that was good for roughly 335 horsepower when new thanks to a four-barrel carburetor along with some other internal components. This powerplant allowed the car to reach 60 MPH from a stand still in just over six seconds. sending the V8 power to the rear end is a three-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears. The block is finished in Mopar blue that really ties together the look of the engine bay nicely. Moving outward, the car is finished in metallic gold paint that has some very minor chips and scratches, but otherwise is in good condition. The rear of the car features the original style SuperBee graphic which is in good condition also. Supporting each corner of the car are black steel wheels with polished accents. Wrapped around those wheels are classically styled BF Goodrich redline radial tires with good tread life left in them. Upon entering the vehicle, the driver will notice the very clean all black interior. The Bench seats are finished in black vinyl that is in good condition. Sitting below the seat is clean black carpet. The driver will appreciate the power steering and power brakes that allow for comfortable maneuvering of this rather large muscle car. Continuing with driver amenities, tucked in the dash is a radio if the sound of the big V8 becomes undesirable. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a rare 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T Convertible. Only 628 Coronet R/T convertibles were produced by Dodge in 1967. They were available with either a 440 Magnum V8 or a 426 Hemi V8 engine, they were equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission or a 3-speed automatic transmission (727 Torqueflite). The Hemi powered Coronet Convertibles being extremely rare, with a total of only 6 known to exist. This particular 67’ Coronet is an actual R/T convertible and was born with a 440 Magnum. The current 440 Magnum V8 powering this 67’ Coronet is not the original numbers matching engine, but it is period correct. A 727 Torqueflite transmission transfers the power to the rear end with ease. The trim tag indicates that Dark Red Metallic was the original color for this Coronet R/T, The car has been resprayed over the years, at one point it was believed to have been teal, but all is right with the world again, as it is back to the original color. The black vinyl interior features bucket seats, console, and console mounted shifter. The Mopar rally wheels are wrapped in raised white letter radial tires that provide an awesome stance and complete the classic muscle car look. With options like power steering, power brakes, and automatic power top this 67’ Coronet R/T Convertible is a must have for any Mopar enthusiasts. The odometer reads 45,009, but the actual mileage is unknown. Rare by definition means, “not found in large numbers” or, “unusually good or remarkable.” Well… RARE is the perfect word to explain this A12 M-code “Killer” Super Bee. With a full restoration performed less than six months ago, this Super Bee is turnkey and ready to go. You may ask yourself what is so unique about this 1969 ½ Dodge Super Bee. I’m glad you asked. An A12 M-code MoPar car drastically sets itself apart from the typical “Muscle Cars.” A12 M-code cars were like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of “Muscle Cars.” They were pure, pumped up, menacing, high-performance vehicles that swarmed at every opportunity to sting the competition that dared to get in its way. A12 cars were offered with a 440 cubic-inch monster motor, adorned with a “Six-Pack” (three two-barrel carburetors). M-code cars were a special order package that equipped these outstanding cars with a Dana 60 axle with 4:10 gear ratio, heavy-duty automatic and a “lift-off” flat black scooped hood. The A12 package did not stop there. It also includes heavy-duty internal engine parts, black steel rims with high-performance G-70 15 inch tires, and heavy-duty 11-inch drum brakes. This is a “Numbers Matching” 1969 ½ Dodge Super Bee with all the correct matching components an A12 M-code car is suppose to have as stated above. With only 45,000 documented miles this jewel is a superb investment. You can make this a centerpiece in your collection. There were only 1,487 Super Bee two-door Hardtops built in 1969 for the U.S. market with a 440 six-barrel 390 horsepower engine. Of those, 826 were built with a A833 4-speed manual transmission and 661 constructed with an A727 3-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. This is one of the 661 A727 automatics. No one truly knows how many of these ultra-rare cars are still in existence, but we know not all of them made it this far. Some found their destiny with the “car crusher.” Others rotted away in fields, and some are still hiding behind barn doors. This Super Bee was found in Fort Morgan, Colorado like many other “Muscle Cars” sitting in a barn locked away from the public. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1968 dodge Dart. This bad to the bone Dart is both show and go! The meticulous restoration was a no expense spared job that included a lot of high performance goodies. Power comes from a built 451 based from a 400 block that features aluminum main caps, Veolia Pistons, Bill Mille aluminum rods, 3.375 billet crank and roller cam and lifters. The cylinder heads are aluminum Indy 440 1 cylinder heads as well as an Indy aluminum intake manifold and a CNC ported valley pan. It's equipped with a Milidon oiling system, Milidon oil pan, custom push rods, K Motion valve springs, Stainless steel valves with lockers and retainers, Mopar performance aluminum water pump and a Holley 1050 Dominator carburetor. Exhaust and the menacing sounds that emit from this power house come out of custom headers, exhaust and Borla mufflers. This power needs something just as stout to transfer the power back to the rear wheels. Accomplishing that is a TCI Power Glide transmission, TCI torque converter, Jerry Bickel Chromoly drive shaft with billet trans and rear end yokes, Strange 9 inch with 40 spline spool, 4.56:1 gears and Strange 40 spline axles. Putting the power to ground is no easy task. Accomplishing this feat are Strange double adjustable rear shocks, Chassis Works ladder bar, Strange struts, Strange Rack and Pinion steering and 19.5 Mickey Thompsons wrapped around Weld Racing Aluma Star wheels. Up front are 26x5 Good Years also wrapped around Weld Racing Aluma Stars. Slowing things down is drama free thanks to a set of Strange four wheel disc brakes, Strange master cylinder and steel braided brake lines. Safety is one thing that shouldn't be taken for granted and certainly not missed. This one is ready to hold you in place and keep you safe. Doing so is a custom 12 point roll cage and Stroud 5 point racing belts. Other notable build details include a Hurst roll control line lock, Hurst Quarter Stick shifter, Griffin radiator, Barry Grant fuel system (400 pump & 4 port regulator), Painless wiring harness, Jazz 15 gallon fuel cell and of course beautiful workmanship that shows through and through. For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this customized 1968 Dodge Charger Daytona Tribute. This is an instant attention grabber. This is a numbers matching car with just 47,876 original miles. The Daytona tribute is instantly recognizable by the massive rear wing and pointed front end. This car started its life as a big block 1968 Charger. A high quality fiberglass Daytona conversion kit was installed. From there, well known restorer, Eric Nelson, built the metal headlight assembly, metal wind supports, and stainless A pillar moldings. This numbers matching Charger is powered by its original 383cid motor mated to a 727 automatic transmission. Both the motor and transmission were rebuilt 538 miles ago. It has an 8.75 inch rear end with 3:73 gears. This Daytona is finished in a Black Cherry that looks great. Inside the car is exceptionally well done. The interior is as clean as they come and the embroidered seats turned out great. The entire interior was completely redone. The seats were reskinned, new seatbelts installed, new carpeting, new dash pad, new headliner, new lower door panels, and much more. The wheels on this charger were refinished when it was rebuilt. At the same time, new tires were put on. Also, a new Vintage Air, air conditioning system was installed. This Charger has new disc brakes up front as well. This charger has the original vinyl top and a rechromed rear bumper. Interestingly, the wing on this Daytona tribute was signed by Richard Petty. Richard invited the previous owner down to the Richard Petty experience and was able to run this car on the track at 139 mph. Gateway Classic Cars now has a very special and beautiful 1968 Dodge Dart GTS Convertible available in Houston! This one is powered by a numbers matching 340 CID V8 engine that goes through a factory TorqueFlite transmission. This engine has only covered less than 500 miles since the car was restored in 2013. Exterior is finished in a red with black top combination. Features include an AM radio, automatic convertible top, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, jack, seat belts, vinyl interior and radial tires. This is part of the fourth generation of Dodge Dart vehicles produced between 1967 and 1976. The Dart was substantially redesigned for the 1967 model year. It received new styling, revised steering systems, wider front track and frame rail spacing. Redesigned K-members were added to accept the larger engines that Dodge had in mind for the car. In 1967 you would also notice the rear window with inverse curves, creating a new and unique appearance at the rear of a greenhouse, but designed to collect snow! The 170 CID I6 was dubbed simply “Dart”, with the 270 and GT carrying on mostly unchanged. In late 1967 the GTS came out in limited quantities due to it’s lateness, but the 1968 was arguably improved anyway, by fitting the new high-output 340 CID V8! That is the car that you are looking at here. The first of the 340 GTS cars. Aside from the engine, changes for 1968 were relatively subtle. The park and turn lights in the grille were moved slightly inboard and made round. Side marker lights were added to the front fenders and rear quarter panels, to comply with newly introduced Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108. Shoulder harnesses (separate, this year and until 1973, from the lap belts) and non-glare matte finish on the windshield wiper arms were also part of the 1968 federally mandated safety package. We are tremendously proud to offer for sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1968 Dodge Charger R/T. Not a dime was spared and not detail was missed in this build. You can't find another 1968 Dodge Charger like it at this price! This beautiful Charger started life out as a 440 4-speed car and is still equipped with the original 4-speed and Dana rear end. Power comes from a fire breathing Ray Barton 528 Hemi crate engine producing 650 horsepower! The Hemi is equipped with aluminum heads and intake with a single four-barrel carburetor feeding fuel. The engine is also fitted with a March Serpentine belt system and a 3-inch TTI exhaust system. This giant Hemi sits a little taller than the old 440. To clear the hood, some serious custom work was performed to the original steel hood. There are around 130-man hours in the hood alone! The builder started with a stock steel hood, relocated the recessed areas further out for the Duster scoop to fit between them. What a magnificent job! If you've ever restored a black car, you know how much time and patience it takes to get it right. The underside is also painted in a high gloss black and looks just as good as the top side. 17-inch Boyd Coddington aluminum wheels finish off the look. An adjustable coil over suspension and Alterkation K frame with rack and pinion steering give this Charger the perfect stance. Slowing down this 650-horsepower beast is a set of Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners. Power is transferred from the original 4-speed and back to the original Dana 60 rear housing 3.54:1 rear gears. The interior has a very stock appearance to it; however, it was also fully restored like the rest of the car including all the gauges, seats, carpet and headliner. There is also controls for a new Classic Auto A/C unit. The build was a total rotisserie and was completed in 2011. Since its completion, the car has been shown nationally and received a 1st place at the Mopar Nationals in 2011 with a score of 995 of 1000 points, 2012 Gold Muscle Car Nationals with a 997 out of 1000, 2013 Magnificent 7 Winner, 2013 Gold at the Muscle Car Nationals in Chicago, 2013 1st at the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, KY, 2013 Best of Show at Mopar Happening in Belvedere, IL, 2014 Gold at Muscle Car Nationals in Chicago, 2015 1st place at World of Wheels Chicago. The build has certainly proven itself with the mentioned awards. There are 300 miles since the completion. OK, open up Webster’s dictionary flip to the T’s, beside the word truck, that what a power wagon looks like. Riding on 20” rims and massive 11.00.20 tires (about 4 feet tall) this is a TRUCK. When it comes to power plants what would you put under the hood of this 67 Power Wagon for sale? Hemi? Sure, if you can find one, cheap enough. Or Big Block Chevy, yea, four hundred fifty four cubic inches of torque and power. This 454 CID RAT motor is packed with all the right goodies like a high lift roller cam, high rise intake and Holley® double pumping four barrel carburetor. This combination is said to produce over 400 horsepower,,,,you think! I think this combo is packing enough power to pull a house off it’s foundation, ok maybe it’s a small house. Backing this raunchy Rat is a turbo 400 that was rebuilt the same time as the engine, just about four years ago. The body was worked primed and painted the same time and the chassis was covered in black making this Power Wagon for sale looking fresh and new, but you know all this you just looked through all the photos. Just getting in to the driver’s seat of this truck your biceps will grow 3 inches, mainly of course because of the lack of power steering, but who needs power steering with all the power under the hood. Bored .040 over with a torque plate for KB pistons and moly rings. New Hyd. cam and lifters. New oil pump, fuel pump, carb, valve job, etc… 300 miles on the rebuild. The hood is a restored Ramcharger hood and a classic air cleaner. 4 wheel disc brakes, flowmaster exhaust. Instrument cluster is upgraded to a rebuilt roadrunner rally with tach.
