Our St. Louis showroom is excited to offer a scorching red 1967 Volkswagen Dune Buggy. Get a head start on summer and with only 19867miles (undocumented), there is still plenty of fun in the sun to be had. The car features a recent shimmering Red Metal Flake paint and custom adjustable black and red leather bucket seats. The car provides seating for two with ample space in the back for an ice chest, beach towels and SPF 50 making this Dune Buggy the perfect summer get away cruiser. A subtle contrast from the bright red exterior, can be seen from the flat black offset 5 spoke wheels. The flat black accents continue with the matching full roll cage and front bumper.
A full engine rebuild was completed just 5 miles ago by Archway Import Auto Parts in St. Louis. The 1776cc VW engine comes chromed out, with dual carbs, and duel exhaust. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly, reflecting the recent rebuild about 4 years ago. Other additional upgrades include Disc Brakes upfront, custom shifter and a hydraulic clutch. Be sure to check with your state’s laws for registering this vehicle for street use. Feel free to bring your sunglasses and flip flops to our St. Louis showroom to check out the 1967 VW Dune Buggy in greater detail or visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
