For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a beautifully restored 1930 Ford Model A Tudor. This one was restored to mimic a model car that represented an old fire chief's car from New York. What a great execution! This one looks and acts the part very well. The logos are vinyl in case you wish to change the city from New York to your hometown or remove them all together. The brass fire extinguisher was also restored and looks fabulous. There is also a working siren that will grab attention anywhere you go! The restoration included a full mechanical restoration in addition to the obvious cosmetic restoration. It starts with ease and is a true joy to drive. We love seeing more of these restored vs. turning one into a hot rod. We appreciate those too but have a soft spot for the originals. The red paint is the actual Fire Engine paint code from Ford in 1930. It was professionally applied and is a base coat clear coat. The frame off restoration took place in 2008 and has been lovingly owned by the same car collector since the mid 80s. The car has been enjoyed in numerous parades and casual drives around town. Since the restoration, the car has covered roughly 500 miles. The car was very sound and solid prior to the restoration and still utilizes all the original sheet metal. This eye catching red Model A Tudor is fitted with a beige interior and still looks new. Don't let this one get away. Call our St. Louis showroom for additional information or swing by for an up close viewing. To view additional photos and a video of it running and driving, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

1931 Ford Model A

1931 Ford Model A

Engine: 201 CiD 4-cyl OHV
Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 12004 ( undocumented )

This partially restored, sharp looking 1931 Ford Model A Sedan is for sale in our Houston Showroom. Enjoy getting looks at shows and being in parades with this beautiful Model A. To some at the time, it likely seemed impossible for Henry Ford to follow up the commercial success of the Model T. However, he would immediately hit another home run with the Model A. But, while the Model T was produced for the explicit purpose of making the motorcar accessible to everyone, the Model A would be Ford's attempt at combining mass production with exclusivity. The Model A would be an absolute hit with the public. The marriage of aesthetics and mass production has seemed to work as one million examples would be built by February of 1929. By July, just a few months later, production would top two million. Ultimately, by the time the Model A became superseded by the Model B and production ended in early 1932, nearly five million Model As would roll off the Ford assembly lines. This nice looking Ford is powered by a 201 CiD inline 4 cylinder engine backed by a 3 speed manual transmission. This all-steel original car has one very handy "modernization": its electrical system has been converted from the original 6-volt system to a modern 12-volt system, making it much easier to enjoy tooling around in. The exterior on this all-metal Ford Model A is a nice matte black with buckskin brown accents and soft top. The Model A rolls on a set of original steel wire wheels painted in a brown color (that matches its buckskin brown top and interior) and are wrapped by black wall bias ply tires. The seating surfaces are covered by a freshly-installed Buckskin Brown vinyl tan. The interior has been fully restored back to the original look. The car has its original engine & trans in the car that is came with in 1931. The owner also put a new carburetor & a new alternator. Everything on the car works! This car has no rust on it and is a true survivor car that is all metal with no body filler. Options on this beautiful Model A are vinyl interior, roll-away vinyl soft top, a custom LED light strip under the dash (for the courtesy lighting), and bias ply tires. 1929 Ford Model A

Engine: V-8 Cam In block
Transmission: Four Speed Automatic
Mileage: 1198 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is extremely thrilled to offer this 1929 Ford Model A Roadster for sale. The owner nor Gateway Classic Cars is liable for any hearing damage that may occur while enjoying music of this aggressive hotrod. This Model A Roadster is so aggressively fast it will take you back in time to remind you how far we have come in automotive engineering. This beauty has a black exterior with some tastefully applied flames on the body in front of the windshield and a white canvas top. The interior is red which really pops against the black making for a sweet looking ride. I will personally be sad to see this car go once sold. This open face engine is a V8 cam in block motor kicking out tons of power and torque and all that is tied to a four speed automatic transmission. The muscle machine has leather seats and custom wheels that are setup on radial tires. I have not told you the best part either. This crazy thing has a fully functioning parachute tied to the back so you can either take it down the drag strip or impress you friends and family, if you are willing to repack the parachute that is. This mad, fast, loud, impressive machine will knock you socks off along with your shoes when you see it in our showroom. Grab it now before someone else does because this thing is priced to sell yesterday. Our 1929 Ford Model A Roadster includes: Soft top, hub caps, seat belts, leather interior and bias ply tires. 1929 Ford Model A Coupe

1929 Ford Model A Coupe

Engine: 302 CID FI SBF
Transmission: Five Speed Manual
Mileage: 96 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this one-of-a-kind, pro-built 1929 Ford Model A coupe street rod for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. This beautiful coupe has a ton of subtle (and not so subtle) body mods to separate it from all of the other A street rods seen all over at cruise nights and car shows. Here are some of them that will ensure you that if this is your car, you probably won't see another one like it... a steel sub-structure replaces all of the original wood, chopped and filled top, shaved door and trunk handles, a custom hood, molded-in front visor, shaved rain gutters, widened steel rear fenders, relocated fuel tank and filler door; all covered in a delicious shade of dark root beer metallic. Inside the tan leather interior (and matching finished trunk) you'll find a tilt column, power locks and windows, air conditioning, and a GPS-activated speedometer, so you'll always have an accurate speed reading. Under the hood is where this car really shines...a Boss 302 clone engine puts all of the horsepower into a Tremec five speed maual tranny into a 9" Ford rear axle housing 3.73 gearing. The TCI chassis is a huge improvement over what Henry had "back in the day" with its Mustang II style IFS set-up and four wheel disc brakes bring this little A down to zero in a flash. This street rod coupe is ready to go. All it needs is a new owner. Is that you? Don't miss this awesome 1929 Ford Model A coupe for sale right now in our facility. 1929 Ford Model A

1929 Ford Model A

Engine: 331 Hemi V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 1500 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this 1929 Ford Model A “Rat Rod” for sale in our Indianapolis Showroom. “Rat Rod” is: a semi-restored Hot Rod that is intentionally left with the appearance of being incomplete. The Rat Rod is created of the thought of awaking a (pre-WW II) vehicle from the dead and embracing its natural form of deterioration, rust and all, while the Hot Rod is immaculately restored and customized for high performance. Rat Rods grow old gracefully while Hot Rods go under expensive cosmetic procedures to appear like new. Rat Rods are daily drivers better left unwashed, while Hot Rods only come out to play in shows and require the high maintenance of wax and polish. This Model A Rat Rod has made it way from Arizona to Indiana. The frame is 1929 Model A, it has been boxed in critical areas for extra strength. The roof of the cab is from a 1963 Chevrolet Corvair. The front grill is from a 1947 Studebaker Grill. The dual Stromberg carburetors are dressed out with a 1958 Cadillac air cleaner. The Strombergs feed a 1953 331 CID Chrysler Hemi V8. No fancy chrome here, just an old set of stamped steel Chrysler Hemi valve covers with just the right amount of patina. Zoomy style headers take care of the exhaust fumes, check out the super kewl flappers that have been added. The body has been dressed with just the right amount of patina that can only come from years of being in the Arizona climate. If you ready to hit a “Beatersville” event and fit right in call us before this rusto-rod fly’s out of here. Options for this 1929 Ford Model A “Rat Rod” include; No Radio with, Cloth/Steel Interior, Seat Belts and Steel Wheels wrapped in Bias Play Wide White Tires. This 1929 Ford Model A “Rat Rod” for sale is in our Indianapolis Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Mileage: 14769 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this awesome 1953 Ford F100. This ‘53 Ford F100 is the one you have been waiting for. Too often you see cars and trucks that have been personalized past the point of no return. Fortunately, that is not the case with this truck. Looking at this beautiful fire engine red truck is like an artist looking at an open idea. You can leave it the way it is and have loads of fun, or modify it to your liking. The overall stock look is very appealing with the bright red paint and black running boards. The simplistic chrome “dog dish” hub caps and painted steel wheels takes you down memory lane. There is just enough chrome displayed to add to the look, but not take away from the nostalgic feel. You don’t run into these 1953 Ford F100’s in this type of shape often. The simple basic feel carries right over into the light brown vinyl bench seat interior. This truck makes you want to hop in, drive to a huge open field, and sip a tall glass of lemonade. With only a few knobs and switches on the inside, the bright chrome gauge cluster captures your eyes showing speedometer, oil pressure, volts, water temp, and fuel. Powering this classic F100 is a Ford 289 “Y” block mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. Adding to the vintage package is the fact that it is “three on the tree.” It doesn’t get much better than this when it comes to a pure throwback classic. If it’s too tame for you, let your imagination run wild. The best thing about this 1953 Ford F100 is the fact you know exactly what you’re dealing with.
