Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to offer this rare 1972 Ford Mustang convertible. This is 1 of 112 made with this paint and trim code. It has spent its life in California and Florida, always garage kept, and it received a new paint finish about 13 years ago matching its original medium yellow color. Powered by it’s original 351C motor, and FMX automatic transmission, this Pony is no slouch. One of the best upgrades to make this one even more rare is the original RAM air setup installed in 2007. Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this 1970 Ford Mustang coupe for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. This immaculate pony car has been customized from top to bottom starting with painting the classic lines a medium silver and accenting it with tastefully applied gloss black stripes. The black leather interior contrasts nicely with the silver/black body. The argent-colored wheels are from a late-model Mustang but they appear right at home on this awesome coupe. The bigger wheels and the lowered stance fill the wheelwells much better than Ford designers ever intended. Under the hood, a fully detailed compartment houses a 302 CID V8 featuring an aluminum intake, Holley carb., and headers into true dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. It sounds just like you'd expect it to! With air conditioning, the cooling system needed beefing up from stock, so a heavy-duty aluminum radiator now handles the task of keeping this '70 Mustang running at the right temperature. This classic American icon is turn-key and ready to go so that all the new owner has to do is get in and drive it. If you're a classic Mustang fan, you'll love this sexy pony car. Engine: V-8 Small BlockTransmission: 3 Speed AutoMileage: 11594 ( undocumented )
The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1970 Ford Mach 1. The Mach 1 package was only available in the 'SportsRoof' body style (previously known as the 'Fastback'); never on the hardtop or convertible. Many resto-mod visual conversions have since been performed by owners and enthusiasts, but are not Mach 1's by VIN code. The Mach 1 started with V8 powered 'Sportsroof' body and added numerous visual and performance enhancing items such as matte black hood treatment with hood pins, hood scoop (including optional Shaker scoop), competition suspension, chrome pop-open gas cap, revised wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires, chrome exhaust tips (except 351W 2V), deluxe interior, livery and dealer optional chin spoiler, rear deck spoiler, and rear window louvers (SportSlats). Mach 1s came with upgraded suspension to varying degrees dependent upon powertrain choices. Big block cars had front shock tower reinforcement, thicker sway bars (no rear bar for 69), and heavier springs and shocks. 428 CJ/SCJ 4 speed cars also came with staggered rear shocks. Standard on Mach 1s was a fierce but cosmetic hood scoop that had integrated turn-signal lights mounted in the back. A more functional option was the signature "Shaker hood", an air scoop mounted directly to the top of the motor, used to collect fresh air and so named for its tendency to "shake" above the rumbling V-8 below. The interior came complete with teak wood grain details, full sound deadening material and high-back sport bucket seats. Ford kept the Mach 1 alive into 1970 and little changed other than the visuals. The 1970 body included dual-beam headlights with the previous inner headlights becoming sport lamps and recessed taillights on a black honeycomb rear panel, side scoops behind both doors removed, revised bucket seats, deep dish sports wheel covers, as well as new side and rear badging and striping were the main visual differences. 1970 saw the previous 351W V8 engine options replaced with a new 351 cu in (5.8 L) Cleveland (351C) V8 in either 2V (for use with 2-venturi carbs) or 4V (for use with 4-venturi carbs) versions. The 351C 4V (M code) engine featured 11.0:1 compression and produced 300 bhp (224 kW; 304 PS) at 5400 rpm. This new performance engine incorporated elements learned from the Ford 385 series engine and the Boss 302, particularly the poly-angle combustion chambers with canted valves and the thin-wall casting technology. Options include: Power Steering,Power Brakes, Rally Wheels, AM/FM Radio w CD, Vinyl interior, radial tires. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This 1970 Mach 1 for sale in covered in iconic Grabber orange with black rally stripe and looks like it just drove out of the showroom for the first time. With the speed of sound being around 761 miles per hour and this speed being designated Mach1, Ford produced Mustangs with this title to let you know just how fast it was. Sitting between the front shock towers is the small block Ford that a lot of big blocks chased back then. The 351 Windsor and sitting on top of this power plant is an Edlebrock® performer 351-w intake with one of Vic’s own Carburetors. This of course provides plenty of power to blister the poor rear tires on this incredible pony car. Bolted to the back of this Engine is a 4-speed manual transmission giving the driver more control of just how long the rear tires last and of course how much smoke he put in the face of the Challenger behind him. The rear axle housing is Fords finest, a 9 inch that houses a 3.50 gear set. Maybe this should be a Mach2? With all this go, there must be enough whoa to go around so, power disc on every corner provide all you will need. Open the driver’s door and slide in to the control seat, let your left foot get used to the throw on the clutch, while your right finds the limit of the loud pedal. While getting used to the controls, take a look around at the like new high-backed bucket seats, center console, dash, carpet and head liner and try to remember that it is 2018 and not 1971. While sitting behind the wheel just try to not run through the gears and imagine the wild ride you could give this car, heck you would make Ken Block want to watch your you tube video. Heck I’ll watch it, I am a sucker for a fastback Mustang and this one is as good as it gets! Options for this 1970 Mustang Mach 1 for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, Power steering and Brakes, Seat belts Posi Traction and Radial tires. You are looking at a 1970 Ford Mustang that found its way to our Ft Lauderdale showroom and we are thrilled to have the car. This is a great 1970 Mustang convertible. The second owner bought the car 20 years ago and this pony was his pride. He spent around $90000 to restore and maintain his baby. It received a full restoration 15 years ago and still looks great. The original 302ci V8 engine was bored to 331ci and was rebuild by Bill Mitchel Racing with less than 12,000 miles added since. This powerful engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission, and with its new suspension by Steeda Autosports, this car drives fantastic. It is equipped with a 9-inch posi rear end and a gear ratio of 3:55. The exterior presents itself in the famous Ford grabber blue paint with the Boss 302 theme decals. A clean black interior is a perfect match. The car has the original body panels and she lines up beautiful. Original born with an F-Code 302ci V8, this isn’t a real Boss but you will be the boss when you drive this muscle car down the road. Be ready to smile because people will take out their phones to take pictures of you in the car. A great sound system is installed but is there better music to listen to than a V8 muscle car symphony? This isn’t just a muscle car, this is also a comfortable classic with many options to drive. All in one the Ford is ready for a new owner who will take good care of her. Let it ride!!! This 1970 Ford Mustang for sale is all that is American, with the ready to rumble exhaust and long lines that stretch from front to back this car is meant for car shows and cruise ins. Powering this mighty machine is a 351C V8, what is the “C” mean? Well it’s a Cleveland built engine and in the motor world that means more power and a heftier build. Backing this Powerplant is a 4-speed manual transmission.Keep in mind the this is a Numbers Matching car "as stated by the owner" and it will not be going down in value. This will give you the opportunity to drop a gear and show these late model cars what true muscle is! The exterior of this road monster is draped in a Grabber Blue which is notorious with the Ford Mustangs, hence beast mode! You do not see a Ford Focus in Grabber Blue because the Mustang would most likely stop and eat it for lunch if it saw it. The interior of this 1970 Ford Mustang for sale is a soft and plush white Vinyl interior that gives both driver and passenger that same creature comforts. Close your eyes and imagine a stout V8 firing up, with the lope of the cam and the build of the exhaust system giving it that rowdy “ potato potato potato sound that gives the feeling that you are running 100MPH at a standstill…… Sounds amazing to me. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback. The Fastback Mustang is one of the most iconic cars of the muscle car era. Its slick styling and great color combinations make these cars highly sought after. This example has had a partial restoration with the Grabber Green paint being the star of the show. The car came from the factory that bright green with the black accents added during the build. The hood scoop is reminiscent of the Boss’s and really grab a ton of attention. Underneath that hood is a respectable 302 that sounds as good as the car looks. Mated up to a C4 transmission that was recently rebuilt using an upgraded shift kit and 2300 flash stall this Pony is ready to run. With the Pony’s ability to get up to speed taken care of the slowing down part was the next part to be addressed. With all new lines, disc on the front and drums on the rear stopping this fastback is as simple as hitting the pedal. Completing the mechanical side of things was the suspension which had the following components replaced, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, and shocks allowing for a rather plush ride. Open the door and a fresh interior jumps right out at you. The new seat covers look great while the new foam keeps everyone riding in comfort. The new headliner looks great while the dash cover ties it all together. The new carpet seals the deal and completes a very fresh interior.
