Engine: 302 CID V8Transmission: C4 AutomaticMileage: 77,270 ( undocumented )
Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this awesome 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback. The Fastback Mustang is one of the most iconic cars of the muscle car era. Its slick styling and great color combinations make these cars highly sought after. This example has had a partial restoration with the Grabber Green paint being the star of the show. The car came from the factory that bright green while the black accents were added during the build. The hood scoop is reminiscent of the Boss’s and really grab a ton of attention. Underneath that hood is a respectable 302 that sounds as good as the car looks. Mated up to a C4 transmission that was recently rebuilt using an upgraded shift kit and 2300 flash stall this Pony is ready to run. With the Pony’s ability to get up to speed taken care of the slowing down part was the next part to be addressed. With all new lines, disc on the front and drums on the rear stopping this fastback is as simple as hitting the pedal. Completing the mechanical side of things was the suspension which had the following components replaced, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, and shocks allowing for a rather plush ride. Open the door and a fresh interior jumps right out at you. The new seat covers look great while the new foam keeps everyone riding in comfort. The new headliner looks great while the dash cover ties it all together. The new carpet seals the deal and completes a very fresh interior. If you have been wanting one of the most iconic cars of the era painted in one of the most iconic colors this 70 Fastback is exactly that. Options on this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback include, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Rally Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Engine: 351 Cleveland V8Transmission: 4-Speed AutomaticMileage: 1,500 ( since rebuilt )
Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando Florida is proud to offer this 1971 Ford Mach 1 for sale in our Orlando Showroom. This Green 351 Cleveland 4 Barrel with Automatic transmission and posi rear with 3:25 gearing is ready to go. This car has been completely restored and comes with a Marti report showing its original status. In 1971, the Mach 1 started with a base engine of the 302ci based Windsor motor, with a 2-barrel carburetor, followed by four optional 351 Cleveland engines. One of the most recognizable features of the '71-'73 Mustangs is the optional, standard on Boss, 351 NACA hood design with dual scoops. Though available as a visual, non-functional item, they could be made fully functional on models ordered with the Ram Air option, which included vacuum controlled 'flaps' inside each scoop, and a fiberglass under-hood 'plenum' that directed cool, outside air through a modified, rubber-ringed air filter housing and into the carburetor. The ram-air option included a two-tone hood paint treatment in either 'matte black' or 'argent' (matte silver), coordinated to the base color of the Mach 1 and its decals and striping. In addition, all Ram Air-equipped Mustangs of this generation came equipped with twist-style, chrome-plated hood locking pins. Options include: Rally Wheels, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Green Vinyl interior, AM/FM radio 8 Track player, raised white letter radial tires. Now available for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom is this 1972 Ford Mustang. The 1972 Ford Mustangs changed very little from the 1971 models, except the Boss 351 did not return for a second year. Outside of red/white and blue color schemes, the only obvious difference was the Mustang name on the rear was now smaller and on the right side, instead of across the center. This 1972 Mustang, powered by a 250 cid Stright 6 engine with automatic transmission with less than 56,000 actual miles, is coated in a beautiful red, and has a red and white interior. The convertible top is new, along with the brakes, suspension and shocks, exhaust, tires, gas tank, cooling system and hoses, carpeting and antenna. With all that being done, this vehicle is ready to hit the road and take someone for an awesome cruise. Will that be you? Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this all original 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The Camaro/Mustang rivalry had begun in 1967 with the introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro by General Motors. The Camaro was the largest threat to the lead Ford had in the "pony car" field, a market segment largely created by Ford with the introduction of the Mustang in mid-year 1964. The performance of the Mustang with 289 and 390 engines was not up to the Camaro, with its small block and big block V8. To improve the Mustang's image Ford made a 428 Cobra Jet V8 and a Ford Boss 302 engine optional for the 1968 mid-year and 1969 models, respectively. This 1970 Boss 302 is a numbers’ matching 302 CID V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission with Hurst Shifter and POSI rear with 3:91 gears. The bed has a locking tool box and the rubber bedliner covers a rust free, dent free bed floor. The sixth generation of the Ford F-Series is a line of pickup trucks and medium-duty commercial trucks that were produced by Ford Motor Company from 1973 to 1979. This generation was launched in December 1972 for the 1973 model year. These were the last generation of trucks to use the F-Series chassis introduced in 1965. After a decade as a compact SUV, the Ford Bronco was redesigned as a shortened version of the F-Series. This generation also marks the introduction of the F-150 (introduced in 1975) which today is the most popular model. This generation is noted for the body panels' durability as Ford used extensive amounts of galvanized sheet metal, zinc coated steel, zinc rich primer and fender liners, to fight corrosion. In 1976, the F-Series became the best-selling trucks in America, a position it has continued to retain ever since.
