The Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis is tremendously proud to offer this amazingly restored and well-kept 1934 Ford Tudor. In succession of the Model A, between 1932 and 1934 Ford produced three new cars; Model B, Model 18, and Model 40. The noticeable changes of the 1934 design included a flatter grille with a wider surround and fewer bars, straight hood louvers, two handles on each side of the hood, smaller head lights and cowl lamps, and a reworked logo.
This 1934 Ford Model 40 has been reworked to be powered by a RAM Jet 350, which is a Chevy Small-Block V8 (Cubic Inch Displacement 350) that has a maximum RPM of 5200. Pushing is the engine is a General Motors 4L60-E (TH700R4). Other modern driving features includes: Power Brakes, Posi Traction, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, and Tilt Wheel. The engine, transmission, and wiring were all installed in 2008.
Smooth driving performance aside, what makes you motivated to buy this 1934 Ford Model 40 is because it looks better than everything else on the road. The condition of the exterior black paint job from 2008 is in excellent condition and doesn't even need to be waxed to shine as it does. This car has been kept in clean and dry conditions since she was built. The Show Me glass body sits on a Pete and Jake's frame and features a Heidt's front end. The accenting chrome trim and wheels only make the whole ride the reason why people stop and turns their heads to watch her strut her stuff. Running across the front of the Tudor are the classic white, yellow, red, and orange flames. If that makes you hot, then cool off on the inside where there is working A/C, comfortable leather seats, carpeted floor, and a dark trim that matches the exterior.
If you are looking for an investment vehicle, a show car, something for your collection, or something just to drive around, this is a ride that you want to inquire more about.

Engine: 468 CID V8 BBCTransmission: Turbo 350Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )
Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this awesome 1934 Ford 3 Window Coupe. Now, tell me that this car doesn’t scream fast! This mean Wild Purple machine is powered by a stout 468 CID V8 big block Chevy with a 6-71 Weiand Supercharger and dual 750 Holley carbs to top it all off. Fast, is an understatement. It features Zoomie headers, MSD ignition, a built Turbo 350 with a 3500 stall, 4:11 gears and a B&M Pro Stick shifter. Up front it has aluminum I-beam front axle with disc brakes and Mickey Thompson Sportman 26x7.5x15 tires wrapped around Weld Racing wheels. Out back you will see the polished Winters quick change rear end with fully adjustable coil overs, drum brakes and 32x17.5x15 Mickey Thompson ET Streets, also wrapped around Weld Racing wheels. This car was originally built from the ground up by Kyle Bond, owner of Gibbon Fiberglass Reproductions. When he saw it on our website, he provided some great background on it. It has a Gibbon fiberglass body, and features Kyle's own Gibbon Fiberglass body, with 4” chop top, custom built frame, roll cage, suicide doors and custom paint and flames of show quality. This car was displayed and raced to promote Gibbon Fiberglass Bodies, and was his personal car, which he raced for 7 years all over the country with Goodguys VRA Nostalgia Events. He states that, on alcohol it ran 8.60 seconds at 160 MPH in the 1/4 mile. It was also featured on the COVER of SUPERROD magazine in Oct. 2000, as well as was featured in Street Rodder magazine in Nov 2000. It has a Pete n Jakes Chassis and leather interior (well, it used to - some of the leather was removed when a subsequent purchaser revised the interior slightly to accommodate a 6' 4', 320lb driver)...the revision included custom seat rails and new buckets to accommodate the later owner, with the current buckets and flooring having been revised to a more duty-oriented synthetic leather and cloth configuration. The smell of leather still abounds, however, since the rest of its original all-leather interior is still intact. The inside of the cabin isn’t what you would expect. Often, people with this level of performance opt for a stripped-out interior, with nothing more than racing seats, gauges and metal. This is certainly not the case with this build. The seats are very comfortable and the cabin is spacious, even with the roll cage installed. Creature comforts such as power windows, seat belts and a vinyl interior can be found too. The pictures don’t do this one justice and the video (as awesome as it is) doesn’t show how truly heart-thumping this beast is in real life. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this well-preserved 1934 Ford Tudor Sedan in our Arizona showroom. Any car that is over 80 years old has a story to tell and this attractive Tudor is no different: the car underwent a full, frame-off restoration in 1993 to bring it up to its present-day condition. The current owner, whose family has enjoyed the car for over 20 years, included the photos of the restoration process that show how much of the original steel was retained on this build. Propelling you down the road in this excellent car is a tried and tested Chevy 350 small-block V8 with a Carter AFB 4-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock manifold. The 350 is paired to a 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic transmission that has barely been broken in with just over 35,700 miles of use. This Ford Tudor sedan really is a looker with its popping Brandywine lacquer paintjob, polished aluminum wheels and unmistakable oversized halogen headlights. Once you open the doors to this stunning sedan and sit down in the Camaro bucket seats, you will be greeted by a pleasingly modernized interior that includes air conditioning, an Alpine stereo with CD player and Stewart Warner gauges that really get you excited about putting your foot on that gas pedal and watching those RPM’s rise with a big smile on your face on a Saturday afternoon. The Ahooga horn on this 30’s hot rod is a nice touch that is sure to draw some positive attention from onlookers. This 1934 Ford Tudor sedan for sale right now at our facility is turn-key ready and at this price, it surely won’t be around for long. Engine: 5.7L LS1Transmission: 4 Speed AutomaticMileage: 1,011 ( undocumented )
Professionally built with no expense sparred, this immaculate LS1 powered cabriolet has just over 1,000 miles on the build! It’s 1934, Near their hide-out in Black Lake, Louisiana, FBI men ambush bank robbers on May 23rd Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow and fire, killing them, The Loch Ness Monster is spotted on January 14th for the first time, and this cool Resto-Mod 1934 Ford Roadster rolls into showrooms for the first time. Since then this all steel 1934 Roadster has undergone a complete Resto-Mod. Including the LS1 motor and transmission, Vintage heat and A/C, independent front suspension, CD player, Rack and Pinion Power Steering, Power Brakes, disc brakes in the front, leather interior, rumble seat. The 1934 Ford (the Model 40B) was not as substantial a model year change as the previous two years had been. Noticeable changes included a flatter grille with a wider surround and fewer bars, straight hood louvers, two handles on each side of the hood, smaller head lights and cowl lamps, and a reworked logo. The bare metal dash insert was replaced by painted steel. V 8 output was again increased, this time to 85 HP, and the four-cylinder Model B engine was in its last year, as was the Victoria body style; nevertheless, there were fourteen body options, the Tudor being top-seller. The standard three window coupe was deleted. Deluxes had pinstriping, again twin (chromed) horns, and twin back lights. Inside, they got more elaborate wood graining. The 1934 Ford V-8 is infamous as being the vehicle in which the notorious Depression-era bandits Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were ambushed and killed. On May 23, 1934, the two outlaws were traveling in a stolen 1934 Ford sedan in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, when a heavily armed law enforcement posse opened fire and riddled their car with bullets and buckshot. Engine: 468 CID V8Transmission: 3-Speed AutomaticMileage: 3,826 ( since rebuilt )
Now for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful and mean supercharged pro-street 1954 Ford F100. The monster 468 CID V8 engine with its giant blower is neatly engineered to fit under the tilt hood, providing for a very inconspicuous look…if you can get around the flames on the hood, that is. The door handles have been shaved for a sleeker and more simplified look. The custom flame paint job on the truck looks great from any distance. Definitely a talking point from a cosmetic stand point. The truck has undergone many modifications, increasing power dramatically. However, components like suspension and brakes have not been overlooked. You will notice the beefy brakes (which stop the truck with excellent power) and the 4-link suspension setup. Even with the power level that this truck is at, it stays straight and true under heavy acceleration. The sound is amazing from this truck. The custom exhaust setup, along with the whine of the supercharger, definitely puts a big smile on your face. This truck is no slouch but it it’s a lot tamer than you may thing for road usage. The current owner has driven long distances with no fusses. The 3-speed transmission is geared so that you can cruise on the highway without overrevving the engine. Even with the modifications, the truck stays cool in the Texas heat. The wooden bed is in great condition and the custom vinyl interior is a comfy place to be. It even has power windows! Other upgrades include racing aluminum alloy wheels, posi-traction, tilt wheel and new Mickey Thompson tires. The Ford F-Series was redesigned by Ford for 1953 with a more integrated look. The pickups also obtained their widely familiar names: The F-1 now became the F-100, the F-2 and F-3 now became the F-250, and the F-4 now became the 1-ton F-350. Optional interior amenities were new, including a dome light, lighter, arm rests, sun visors and a radio. 1930 Ford Model A for sale in our Atlanta Showroom location is ready for its next owner. This beauty is painted in a mirror Black paint with red pin striping, red wire wheels with white walls. It looks fresh and runs just as good! The 4-cylinder engine and manual transmission still power this Model A down the road and a lot of new parts keep it running right. The consignor states the engine and transmission have under 300-miles since the rebuild, with a new starter and new alternator. Options aren’t limited on this beauty – that include cloth interior, wire wheels with hub caps, bias ply tires, radiator guard, dual side mounts, dual side mirrors, truck rack and trunk. The Model A was the first Ford to use the standard set of driver controls with conventional clutch and brake pedals, throttle, and gearshift. Previous Fords used controls that had become uncommon to drivers of other makes. The Model A's fuel tank was situated in the cowl, between the engine compartment's fire wall and the dash panel. It had a visual fuel gauge, and the fuel flowed to the carburetor by gravity. A rear-view mirror was optional. In cooler climates, owners could purchase an aftermarket cast iron unit to place over the exhaust manifold to provide heat to the cab. A small door provided adjustment of the amount of hot air entering the cab. The Model A was the first car to have safety glass in the windshield. Almost 5 million Model A Fords were produced in 9 different body styles before it was replaced by the Ford Model B. This 1930 Ford Modal A is for sale in our Atlanta Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Engine: 351 CID V8Transmission: 3-Speed AutomaticMileage: 32,486 ( actual )
For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a 2-owner, super low mile 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible. The last year of the first-generation Mustang, 1973, saw several styling changes for the iconic pony car. The front bumper was enlarged to meet new NHTSA standards and was now urethane. The sport lamps were turned into turn signals since the new bumper covered the old turn signal location. A person could also order Mach 1 decals as part of the Exterior Decor Group option. This Mustang has been owned by the same individual for the last 20 years. He received it from his neighbor as a gift! I wish I had a neighbor like that. Powering this 73' Mustang is a 351 CID V8 engine, and a 3-speed automatic transmission transfers the power to the pavement. The engine and transmission are both believed to be original to the car. The odometer reads 32,486, which is believed to be the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Automatic Convertible Top, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Radial Tires. The red exterior paint was resprayed and looks great. The white vinyl interior is also in good condition and provides a great color combo with the red exterior. Classic hub caps adorn all four tires and provide a great look for this pony convertible. This is a great example of an early 70’s Mustang convertible in great color combination with very low miles. To view this 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom.
