The PPG black paint is accented nicely with the red vinyl interior. A door on the passenger side allows for an easier entry and exit of the tub. This T sits on Weld Racing Rodlite wheels with some big fat bias-ply Mickey Thompsons on the back, and smaller Nexen radials up front. 1926 Ford Model T

1926 Ford Model T

Engine: i4
Transmission: 2-Speed Manual
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this extremely cool 1926 Ford Model T. Between the extensive powertrain work and original sheet metal, this car is a clean example of a Model T. Under the hood of this American icon is a 2.9-liter inline four-cylinder engine that was good for roughly 20 horsepower when new. The engine is paired to a 2-speed planetary gear transmission and great for small town cruising. The engine and transmission were both rebuilt roughly 2,000 miles ago so there are plenty of miles left in the old beauty. The power that screams from this car is driven through the Ruxtell 2-speed rear axle and is stopped by the Rocky Mountain brakes. You may not compete against the Camaros, and Mustangs on the road but this very well may be one of the quicker Model T’s I’ve seen. Moving inward, the interior of this car is barren with no modern amenities or luxuries. When this car was produced, it was meant to be a cheap means of transportation for the masses with little to no focus on comfort or styling. The condition of the interior on this T is very good, and is no doubt aided in staying that way, because the car comes with with 100% accurate side curtains and tonneau cover. The exterior of this T is finished in black and green to keep a clean classic look. The paint is in very good condition and highlights the cars curves and style. Laying beneath the paint is the original sheet metal from when the car was new almost 100 years ago. Overall the condition of this T is very nice, and this would make an excellent weekend toy or parade car! 1926 Ford Model T

1926 Ford Model T

Engine: 4 Cylinder Flathead
Transmission: 2 Speed Manual
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to have this 1926 Ford Model T listed for sale. This complete frame up rebuild is turn key and ready to be enjoyed. This sharp Ford has been owned by the same owner for 30 years and claimed to be a 2-owner truck. After 90 years this original numbers matching engine and transmission are still trucking along. All new Ford parts have been installed on this truck with the exception of the frame, running gear, motor, transmission, wheels, and cab. The truck has recently been repainted black by Larry Hill and has been reassembled with mechanical work done by Charles Rosato. The black paint is matched with black leather interior, a black soft vinyl material, and black wheels. The style in the appearance is topped off by the wood bed and wooden steering wheel. This truck is perfect for someone who wants to own a piece of Ford history or even a beginner into the car show hobby. The fun part of the early automobile is the ability to manually adjust the timing and throttle right from the steering wheel. This truck is a manual controlled by the farthest left petal on the driver side floor board. The Model T was a rear-wheel drive vehicle. Its transmission was a planetary gear type billed as "three speed". In today's terms it would be considered a two-speed, because one of the three speeds was reverse. The Model T had a front-mounted 177-cubic-inch (2.9 L) inline four-cylinder engine, producing 20 hp (15 kW), for a top speed of 40–45 mph (64–72 km/h).[23] According to Ford Motor Company, the Model T had fuel economy on the order of 13–21 mpg US (16–25 mpg imp; 18–11 L/100 km).[24] The engine was capable of running on gasoline, kerosene, or ethanol,[25][26] although the decreasing cost of gasoline and the later introduction of Prohibition made ethanol an impractical fuel for most users. The engines of the first 2,447 units were cooled with water pumps; the engines of unit 2,448 and onward, with a few exceptions prior to around unit 2,500, were cooled by thermosiphon action. This truck has been rebuilt from the frame up and is ready to be cruised through the streets of your home town! Don’t miss out on a Model T truck that’s redone as nice as this one. This 1926 Ford Model T is up for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1931 Ford Model A

1931 Ford Model A

Engine: Flathead 4
Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 5,632 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. The Model A paved the way for mass produced vehicles. By the end of the run, Ford had produced almost 5 million Model As. These vehicles could be purchased in a variety of body styles. From sporty roadsters to industrial trucks, the platform was extremely versatile. This particular example is the popular two door, 5 window coupe, and features a fold-a-way rumble seat behind the cab of the car. 1931 would be the last year for the ever popular Model A. Most would say the 5 window to be one of the most popular, especially for hot rodders. However, this fine example is no hot rod. This is a very well cared for original that has been fitted with some aftermarket add ons. First, and fairly common, are the add on turn signals. The next one is a big one, an inline gear reduction unit, a.k.a. an overdrive unit. This will make highway speeds a reality. It engages electronically via a switch located on the steering column. The body is finished in a dark brown that features a very slight metallic flake, the fenders are a solid gloss black, and the wire wheels are finished in yellow. The body features a yellow pinstripe to tie the whole thing together. The seat in the cab and rumble seat feature black vinyl upholstery, which are in very good condition. Under the hood is a simple flat head 4-cylinder engine. It uses a 3-speed manual transmission and transfers power to the rear axle. These cars are not speed machines, but they are torquey and fun to drive around town. This one fires up nicely and runs and drives like it should. The odometer reads 5,632, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe include Vinyl Interior, Wire Wheels, Bias Ply Tires, and a Rumble Seat. This Model A is road ready and has a lot of life left. It is ready for a parade or just a nice stroll on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Take home a piece of history with this 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. To view this 1931 Ford Model A in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom.
