For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a very cool 1957 Ford Ranch Wagon. This is essentially the Ford version of a Chevrolet Nomad, both are very unique in styling and design. The biggest difference in the 2 vehicles today is price. You can buy a Ford Ranch Wagon for half of what a Nomad would sell for, and sometimes less than that! These are a bargain when compared to a Nomad, and they are practically the same car. Powering this 57’ Ranch Wagon is a 428 Big Block Ford V8 engine that was donated from a 1972 Lincoln and was bored 0.030 over. Hooker Headers flow to the Borla exhaust creating an awesome sound to this “family” wagon. A C6 automatic transmission transfers the power to the stock rear end with ease. This Ranch Wagon was originally a green car, it now features a red and white color combination that pops in any light and stands proud in a crowd. The vinyl interior is also finished in red and white with custom upholstered seats and interior panels. The odometer reads 5,187, but the actual mileage is unknown. The original odometer was pulled and replaced with approximately 47,000 miles on it, so total miles on the body is somewhere in the neighborhood of 52,000. Options for this 1957 Ford Ranch Wagon include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Rally Wheels. These Ranch Wagons are perfect for a person looking for a classic car that has enough cargo room for everything, including the kitchen sink and also looks cool going down the road. Now up for sale in our Houston showroom is a classy blue metallic 1957 Ford Thunderbird. The Ford Thunderbird began life in February 1953 in direct response to Chevrolet's new sports car, the Corvette, which was publicly unveiled in prototype form just a month before. Under rapid development, the Thunderbird went from idea to prototype in about a year, being unveiled to the public at the Detroit Auto Show on February 20, 1954. Like the Corvette, the Thunderbird had a two-seat coupe/convertible layout. Production of the Thunderbird began later in 1954 on September 9 with the car beginning sales as a 1955 model on October 22, 1954. Though sharing some design characteristics with other Fords of the time, such as single, circular headlamps and tail lamps and modest tailfins, the Thunderbird was sleeker and more athletic in shape, and had features like a faux hood scoop and a 140-mph speedometer hinting a higher performance nature that other Fords didn't possess. This Thunderbird has undergone a partial restoration, and is in very good driver-quality condition. The list of mechanicals that have been modified are: The 312 CID Ford engine was swapped out in 1974 with a 350 CID Chevrolet V8 engine to provide a little more get up and go for this classy chassis. It is paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission that was also added in 1974. The car has 2 known owners and was restored back in 1998 by the latest owner to preserve this piece if history. The exterior is in good condition and would get some heads turning driving down the road. This car has just the one hard top but is in nice condition and will keep you out of that wet weather. The interior of the car is in good original condition with a few small additions such as the engine turned aluminum dash to improve the appearance. The new cassette player hidden in the glove box with the Pioneer speaker behind the seat will make the drive much nicer while listening to your favorite songs. Some additional features include power steering, power windows, white walls, Cassette, AM/FM radio, and power seats. All in all, this adds up to a clean light blue bird that really is a joy to drive. It is hard to not look good driving a Thunderbird, especially when it is a T-Bird that looks this good. Call us today about this sweet little bit of nostalgia! For sale in our Chicago showroom is this beautiful "Blue Dream" 1957 Ford Thunderbird. With a nice Azure Blue paint laid over the body and removable hard top of this classic, one can’t help but be drawn back to a simpler time. Elvis was the most controversial musician, 12 Angry Men was in theaters with Old Yeller, and the cost of a gallon of gas was a whopping twenty-four cents. The 312 cubic inch V8 cradled snugly under hood was the top of the line engine offered, and did a fine job of making this sporty roadster scoot all over town. Backing up the Thunderbirds V8 is a healthy 2-speed automatic that shifts as smooth as when it was new. While the cool blue covering this ’57 T-bird isn’t the original color, it is very fitting on this classic Ford. The slick two-tone “Dresden Blue” interior matches very well, and adds to the very classic look on this beautiful ‘bird. This feisty Ford was treated to some serious restoration work around 2006, including the fresh paint, a brake overhaul, suspension work, a new gas tank, starter, motor mounts, wiring harnesses, the list goes on and on! What you are looking at is a new-new 1957 Ford Thunderbird! This sporty cruiser will paint a perfect smile on your face every time you fire up that Thunderbird V8. Options include: Power Seats, Wipers, Hub Caps, Vinyl Interior, Manual Top and Removable Hard Top, and While Wall Tires. Gateway Classic Cars of Las Vegas is proud to present this 1957 Thunderbird that is for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom. The Thunderbird entered production for the 1955 model year as a sporty two-seat convertible. Unlike the Chevrolet Corvette, it was not marketed as a sports car. Ford positioned the Thunderbird as an upscale model and is credited in developing a new market segment, the personal luxury car. Though sharing some design characteristics with other Fords of the time, such as single, circular headlamps and tail lamps and modest tailfins, the Thunderbird was sleeker and more athletic in shape, and had features like a hood scoop and a 150 mph (240 km/h) speedometer hinting a higher performance nature that other Fords didn't possess. Mechanically though, the Thunderbird could trace its roots to other mainstream Fords. The Thunderbird's 102.0 inches wheelbase frame was mostly a shortened version of that used in other Fords. This car has been repainted a number of years ago but still looks great. It has a power seat, Town & Country seeking radio, and muffler just replaced. This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our Las Vegas Showroom and can be seen great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (702) 830-9215 or email us at LasVegas@GatewayClassicCars.com. Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this 1957 Ford Thunderbird. For 1957, the Ford Thunderbird underwent some visual changes. Most notably, the front bumper was reconfigured, removing the large chrome nacelles, and adding fog lights to the corners. This opened the grille visually, and made it seem more like the luxurious boulevard cruiser that it was. The “Thunderbird” inscription was moved from the rear quarter to ahead of the front quarter panel vent. Out back, the spare tire was moved back into the trunk, and the rear fascia was revised. The fins were thinned out and more pronounced, and the rear bumper featured a new design. At the corners of the bumper, the once-subtle exhaust outlets were replaced with wider integrated outlets. This Thunderbird was purchased by the current owner 18 years ago, in a small Texas city. Since purchasing the owner has done some work to update and keep this ride on the road. In 2007 he replaced: Shocks, U-Joints, Seals, Motor Mounts, Leaf Springs, Bushings, Ball joints, Coils, Steering pump, and Brakes. In 2013 he replaced: Fuel tank, Fuel pump, Hoses and rebuilt the Carburetor. This Thunderbird is powered by a healthy sounding 312 Y-Block V-8 motor and is connected to a 3-Speed automatic transmission. Other options include: A/C-colonial white/black & white vinyl, power seats, power steering, wide white wall radial tires, and wire wheels. Some new owner will enjoy taking this Thunderbird out cruising soon… will that be you? To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Modern components with classic looks! This stunning 1957 Thunderbird, originally from California, has had plenty of work done to make this an excellent reliable cruiser. Back in 2004, the 312 cubic inch V8 was pulled and completely rebuilt using mostly stock components with the exception of ARP rod bolts added for superior strength. After it was rebuilt, the engine ran strong and smooth but was still lacking modern components to supply it with added reliability. So in 2013 when the car was brought to Colorado, the car had many upgrades added including; Holley Avenger electronic fuel injection system, MSD electronic ignition, modern power steering, power disc brakes, electric fans for optimum cooling, a 4L60E automatic transmission with overdrive, electric power windows, a retro AM/FM sound system, and many more subtle changes that makes this one of the coolest T-birds on the road today! The blue paint is in great shape and the Torque Thrust wheels really set the look off right. As you get behind the aftermarket steering wheel, you will be grateful for the smaller diameter steering wheel to let you easily enter and exit the car. Once you are sitting in the car, fire it up with the simple turn of a key and begin your drive! The car feels effortless to drive, but is not lacking in power by any means. It cruises at freeway speeds with no problem and the modern wheels reduce any body roll. If you are looking for a car that is reliable enough to go on long cruises, but do not want to settle for a more modern late model body style, this 1957 Thunderbird is an excellent option for you! Ford Model T Two-seater Roadsters which had a bucket shaped body were used as the base for the “T-Bucket”, a hot-rodder which were created and named by Norm Grabowski. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. The Model A paved the way for mass produced vehicles. By the end of the run, Ford had produced almost 5 million Model As. These vehicles could be purchased in a variety of body styles. From sporty roadsters to industrial trucks, the platform was extremely versatile. This particular example is the popular two door, 5 window coupe, and features a fold-a-way rumble seat behind the cab of the car. 1931 would be the last year for the ever popular Model A. Most would say the 5 window to be one of the most popular, especially for hot rodders. However, this fine example is no hot rod. This is a very well cared for original that has been fitted with some aftermarket add ons. First, and fairly common, are the add on turn signals. The next one is a big one, an inline gear reduction unit, a.k.a. an overdrive unit. This will make highway speeds a reality. It engages electronically via a switch located on the steering column. The body is finished in a dark brown that features a very slight metallic flake, the fenders are a solid gloss black, and the wire wheels are finished in yellow. The body features a yellow pinstripe to tie the whole thing together. The seat in the cab and rumble seat feature black vinyl upholstery, which are in very good condition. Under the hood is a simple flat head 4-cylinder engine. It uses a 3-speed manual transmission and transfers power to the rear axle. These cars are not speed machines, but they are torquey and fun to drive around town. This one fires up nicely and runs and drives like it should. The odometer reads 5,632, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe include Vinyl Interior, Wire Wheels, Bias Ply Tires, and a Rumble Seat. This Model A is road ready and has a lot of life left. It is ready for a parade or just a nice stroll on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Take home a piece of history with this 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. To view this 1931 Ford Model A in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom.
