Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this beautiful 1956 Lincoln MK II. This stunning black beauty has undergone a full frame-on restoration in 2008 and is truly a sight to see.
During restoration, the entire bottom of the car sand blasted and repainted to correct colors. All the body panels were removed and repainted, and the doors were completely taken apart and rebuilt before being re-installed on the car and everything lines up nice and straight as if it were brand new.
The all new leather interior and carpet accents nicely against the black exterior paint and chrome that shine brilliantly in the sun. It even has that new-car smell! All new suspension was added giving this classic MK II a nice comfortable ride that is extremely straight and stable. No expense was spared with upgrades to include an all-new brake system including brake booster & master cylinder, new steering box, new fuel pump, new motor mounts, new stabilizer rubber bushings, new electronic ignition conversion kit, new exhaust system, electronic wiper motor conversion, and a new battery.
This turn-key Lincoln runs and drives like a dream. Since being restored, it has been sitting in a de-humidified climate controlled garage keeping it nice and protected from any harmful elements. There are barely any signs of normal wear and tear and she turns heads everywhere where it goes. This MK II will be a fantastic addition to a car collection of any size.

For sale in our Nashville Tn showroom is a spectacular 1964 Chevrolet Corvette! For 1964 Chevrolet made only evolutionary changes to the Corvette. A few suspension refinements were made. The front coil springs were changed from constant-rate to progressive or variable-rate and were more tightly wound at the top, while leaf thickness of the rear transverse spring was also altered thus providing a more comfortable ride with no sacrifice in handling. Although transmission options remained ostensibly the same for 1964, the two Borg-Warner T-10 four-speeds gave way to a similar pair of gearboxes built at GM's Muncie, Indiana, transmission facility. Originally a Chevy design, it had an aluminum case like the Borg-Warner box but came with stronger synchronizers and wider ratios for better durability and drivability. With a 327 professionally built and installed this engine has a healthy sound and very healthy performance. With no expense spared on the rebuild of this 1964 Chevy Corvette You will definitely turn heads wherever you go. Painted a beautiful light blue with a fresh black interior and all new chrome you’ll swear this 1964 Corvette just rolled off the assembly line. Options included: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, hub caps, Seat belts, Radial tires, Posi traction, White walls and wire wheels. for more information, please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or e-mail us at Nashville@GatewayClassicCars.com

For sale in our Dallas-Ft. Worth showroom is this gorgeous tuxedo black 1959 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. This stunning car has a beautiful red interior, a 270 hp 2x4 solid lift 283 with a 4-speed transmission and wide whitewalls with knockoff hubcaps. To the credit of all involved, the 1959 Corvette was “cleaned up” considerably. For one, the chrome “suspenders” were removed from the design, providing Corvette with a more swept back look that was synonymous with speed. For another, it was decided that the faux hood louvers would be eliminated, returning the Corvette to a semblance of its former self. While these features were key identifiers of the 1958 Corvette, there was no question that the elimination of the excessive chrome would reduce weight and help increase performance. Much like the exterior of the Corvette, the interior received minor, but significant updates as well. Both the door handles and the armrests were repositioned and a small-item storage compartment was added beneath the passenger side grab bar. In addition, both the driver and passenger seats were redesigned to offer increased lateral support of their occupants. All tachometers now indicated up to 7,000 rpm and offered redline and safe limit indicators. Sun visors were introduced to the 1959 Corvette as a new option and concave instrument lenses replaced the flat covers of the 1958 Corvette, thereby reducing sun glare (and other reflections) that might cause a driver to become distracted. Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this very unique 1940 Ford Super Deluxe Flower Car once again. If you're scratching your head thinking "I've never seen one of those before!" It's probably because you most likely have not. This 1940 Ford Deluxe was produced by the Ford Motor Company and then converted by The Eureka Manufacturing Company of Rock Falls Illinois into a flower car. Essentially starting out as a 5-window coupe, the conversion lengthened the chassis and the convertible rear casket compartment was created with metal rollers and pins to store the side rails that would hold flowers in place. This car had a dual use of being enclosed with the original canvas cover for the less elaborate funerals and having the rear compartment cover removed and side rails installed for a more elaborate send off. Flower cars were popular during the middle of the century and now are rarely seen in modern funerals. While most if not all of these conversions done by Eureka were on General Motors vehicles this one being a Ford and not a Packard or Cadillac makes this highly obscure and is believed to be the only one ever made. This car was purchased new in 1940 and check out the original photos of the car being delivered. Now fast forward 78 years and you will notice that not much has really changed. This is an original, unmolested, unrestored car that still retains the original paint, original canvas cover, original interior and powertrain. Now is your chance to own something that nobody else has and enter the world of Professional Car Collectors. Surely this will be the only one at whatever show you attend and thanks to years of maintenance and recent service work performed this car is ready for the road and will cruise at highway speeds. New parts include brake shoes, wheel and master cylinders, brake hoses, rear axle seals, new points set, fuel tank, fuel pump and carburetor overhaul. Located in our Chicago showroom, this 1940 Ford Deluxe Flower Car can be seen including an HD video and pictures at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 400 V8Transmission: 3-Speed AutomaticMileage: 95,161 ( actual )
For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1979 Lincoln MK V. Lincolns from this era were known for their smooth ride. Most people that have owned one or even ridden in one will say that they glide down the highway with ease. This fine example is painted White over a blue cloth interior and rides on a new set of 17 inch wheels and tires. The miles are showing 95,161 but the interior shows as if the car has only 30,000 miles. Obviously this one has been very well cared for over the years. Recent work consists of a new exhaust system, new brakes, new shocks, new fuel tank, wheels and tires. Equipment was plentiful and included Power windows, Power door locks, Power seats, Power mirrors, Power smokers window, Cruise control, AM/FM radio with 8-track player and a Power moonroof. Power comes from the smooth running 400 cubic inch V8. The 460 was optional and did offer a few more ponies but would also have trouble passing up a filling station. The 400 is the way to go! Power is sent through the stout C6 3 speed automatic transmission and back to the rear end that is housing a set of highway gears making highway travel a bit easier. This Collector Series is an eye catcher of a car and newly added to the car is a set of 17 inch wheels shod with new radial rubber. The 17 inch tires have a shorter sidewall and offer a more modern feel to the road thanks to less flex from the sidewalls. For more information on this 1979 Lincoln MK V, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000. To view 100+ HD photos and video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.

Engine: 400 CID V8Transmission: 3 -Speed AutomaticMileage: 60,144 ( actual )
For sale is this beautiful 1979 Lincoln Mark V is in our Louisville showroom. The owner’s Grandfather bought it new in 1979. The grandson has inherited this but has decided it is time to find it a new home. This great big ol’Mark V only has 60144 miles. There are still tons of miles to be enjoyed with this one. By the time the late 70’s rolled around there was a one thing cars had in common and that was size. Cars of that era were huge and this Mark V is a great example of a personal luxury car as the market was coined. Though you could get a Gran Prix, Cutlass or even a Thunderbird, none would come close to the Lincoln Mark V. The exterior is in good condition with no signs of rust and what appear to be the original panels. This 4600 LB piece of American art looks great sitting still or cruising down highway as these old boats love to do. With the Hide-away lights and chromed out front end it is easy to see why these are in such demand. Under the hood is where the gloves come off however as this Mark is not your average ride. With the tires, recently balanced and rotated the ride quality is everything you would expect. Open the door and the plush tan leather interior is inviting and is probably even more comfortable than it looks. The interior brings out the landau top and ties everything together nicely. The Personal Luxury Car market is seeing a surge in sales this Mark V should be a solid investment. Options on this 1979 Lincoln Mark V for sale include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD player, Power Windows, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Steel Wheels with Hub Caps and Radial Tires. This 1979 Lincoln Mark V for sale is in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please call (812) 294-1555 or email us at Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.
