Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this beautiful 1956 Lincoln MK II. This stunning black beauty has undergone a full frame-on restoration in 2008 and is truly a sight to see.

During restoration, the entire bottom of the car sand blasted and repainted to correct colors. All the body panels were removed and repainted, and the doors were completely taken apart and rebuilt before being re-installed on the car and everything lines up nice and straight as if it were brand new.

The all new leather interior and carpet accents nicely against the black exterior paint and chrome that shine brilliantly in the sun. It even has that new-car smell! All new suspension was added giving this classic MK II a nice comfortable ride that is extremely straight and stable. No expense was spared with upgrades to include an all-new brake system including brake booster & master cylinder, new steering box, new fuel pump, new motor mounts, new stabilizer rubber bushings, new electronic ignition conversion kit, new exhaust system, electronic wiper motor conversion, and a new battery.

This turn-key Lincoln runs and drives like a dream. Since being restored, it has been sitting in a de-humidified climate controlled garage keeping it nice and protected from any harmful elements. There are barely any signs of normal wear and tear and she turns heads everywhere where it goes. This MK II will be a fantastic addition to a car collection of any size.

1970 Plymouth Cuda Tribute

Engine: 426 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 100283 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia is ecstatic to offer this heavy hitter, a 1970 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda tribute located at our showroom in West Deptford, NJ! Shedding its Valiant roots, the Plymouth Barracuda entered the scene with a brand-new look in 1970. Featuring a radical restyling on the new E-Body platform, this car was ready to do battle against GM and Ford pony car contenders in performance and style. The challenging task of fitting Chrysler’s 426 Hemi engine into the previous A-Body Barracudas was one of the main reasons a redesign of the car was necessary. The Hemi fit like a glove in the new E-Body thanks to the larger cowl structure and all was set to rock the muscle car world. This incredible Hemi ‘Cuda tribute continues the legend from the powerplant to the paint! Nothing was left untouched during the extensive restoration by Clark Classic Restorations in Greenville, NC. While it started life as a 318 Barracuda, this car underwent an unparalleled transformation into the performance machine you see now. Utilizing original sheet metal, the body was mounted on a rotisserie where the real work began. A gorgeous coat of Lemon Twist Yellow paint was applied along with the sporty hockey-stripe bodyside stripes that accentuate the performance aspect of the Plymouth ‘Cuda. The heart and soul of the car, the fully-built 426 CID V8 Hemi crate engine rumbles with authority through Mandrel® bent exhaust and ceramic long tube headers. Linked to the powerplant is a Mancini Racing® 727 automatic transmission that shifts beautifully thanks to an iconic pistol grip slap-stik shifter. Press on the gas to feel that familiar launch found only with a Big Block Mopar! That’s a Mancini Racing® Dana 60 9 ¾ rear with 3.54 gears! Additional performance features include Heavy Duty Dutchman® 35 spline Axle, light weight driveshaft and 1350 Spicer® U joints, Heidts® Front End, Hemi K Member, Correct Hemi Leaf Springs, Powermaster® Starter and Alternator, Adjustable Koni® shocks, Track Style Front and Rear Brake Linings, Power Front Disc Brakes with slotted drilled rotors and so much more! Stroll to the inside of this gorgeous ride to reveal a crisp white leather interior that looks just as it did when it left the factory thanks to Legendary Auto Interiors®. Take a seat in the comfortable buckets and blast that AM/FM Radio with 8 Track and MP3 input rebuilt by Ward’s Classic Radio Repair®! Cruise with the matching white automatic convertible top down on those sunny days and relax knowing you are driving the coolest car of them all! Wrap your hands around the custom wood steering wheel and take note of the clean gauges including a fully-functioning clock. From the unique slotted courtesy lights to the seat belts redone by Ssnake-Oyl® of Texas, the interior on this ‘Cuda is off the hook! Simply stated, this ‘Cuda is awesomeness in physical form. Just look at that Shaker Hood, a standard option with those who checked off the Hemi box when they sat with their Chrysler-Plymouth Dealer. This hood did more than just shake when the Hemi unleashed its fury, it allowed cooler, denser air to enter those twin carbs! The pièce de résistance is the set of 15x8 rallye wheels that convey the message that this car means business. The 1970 Hemi ‘Cuda produced some of the most frightening quarter-mile times ever back in the day and it remains one of the most revered muscle cars ever made. Here’s your chance to own one! This build was highly documented and was done right as anyone can see. With only 284 miles on the build, this car is ready to run! Give us a call today to make this beauty yours! To view this 1970 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda Tribute in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Mileage: 24821 ( undocumented )

Our newest arrival at the Gateway Classic Cars Chicago, IL showroom is not for the average auto collector. At GCC, we embrace the enthusiasts that hold a devotion to big, beautiful cars from off the beaten path. When selecting American luxury, many have placed their votes with GM’s division of Cadillac, only to find themselves lost in a sea of trend followers. However, throughout the years, if you wanted to be taken seriously as a true individual with class, you rocked a Lincoln. Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Babe Ruth, Frank Lloyd Wright, and countless US Presidents would all agree with this opinionated declaration. Take a long gaze at this gorgeous 1978 Lincoln Mark V. With an impeccably clean interior and exterior, this is a shining example of everything previously mentioned; Command, luxury, and innovation. This year of the Mark V was the very last that offered the iconic 460 CID big block as an option. 1982 Lincoln Town Car

Engine: 5.0L V8 2BL
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 31462 ( undocumented )

For sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom is a 1982 Lincoln Town Car. The 80’s would be the reveal of the all-new shared Lincoln Continental and Mark VI bodyshell was based upon the “Panther” platform utilized by Ford and Mercury. The new Panther platform allowed for advances in suspension geometry and many upgrades were made to the power steering. With the handling improvements and reduced overall size, the Town Car featured an improved ride coupled with better overall road manners. Compared to its GM counterparts and Lincoln predecessors, the new-generation Lincoln offered more agile maneuvering, as well as a reduced turn diameter by over 8 feet (compared to the 1979 Lincoln Continental). This 1982 Lincoln Town-Car was purchased in west Texas area in 82’, where it remained until approximately 2005. It was then brought to the DFW-area where it has resided ever since. This vehicle is a family owned 3-owner vehicle, which has been passed down through generations. Amazingly this vehicle has only 31,462 miles. It has plenty under the hood sporting a 302 – V8 engine with fuel injection. Other stand out features on this vehicle include, Key-pad entry, laminated woodgrain dash, well kept crisp-blue interior, & of course the chrome grill on the front. The current owner has recently replaced the following: Radiator, Water-pump, Hoses, Belts, Front rotors, and brake calipers- with lines & fresh fluid. Making this vehicle ready to roll out of the showroom today for a cruise. If you’re looking for a comfortable ride and some retro-luxury, then give us a call today! 1973 Lincoln Mark IV

Engine: 460 CID V8
Transmission: C6 3-speed Automatic
Mileage: 18596 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston has a rare opportunity for you to purchase a family owned since new, 18,596 original mile, 1973 Lincoln Mark IV! This car is original down to the tires that haven’t been changed since it was new. The current owner is the 3rd in his family to obtain the car but the Grandfather was the original purchaser. Powering this personal luxury car is a brutish 460 CID (7.5L) Ford 385 V8 engine mated to the C6 3-speed automatic transmission which are original to the car. 1973 was the second year for the successor to the Mark III. It grew in size and weight from its predecessor and was designed with the Cadillac Eldorado rival in mind. It certainly competed very well. It shared a common chassis with the Ford Thunderbird and was given its own exterior design from the windows down, returning hidden headlights, a radiator-style grille and a continental spare tire trunk lid. All the Continental Mark IVs were assembled at the Wixom assembly plant in Wixom, Michigan alongside the standard Lincoln Continental and the Ford Thunderbird. This was certainly a heavy car, coming in at a heft 5,264lbs! It feels like the kind of car you could drive through a wall without noticing. 1973 saw a major redesign, necessitated by the addition of the 5mph bumpers; in various forms, the front body style would be seen on Continentals and Lincolns until 1989. The engine in the Mark IV was rated considerably lower in both hp and torque than the 460 CID V8 used in the previous generation, however, this is largely due to that fact that they changed how they rated hp. Nationwide companies were made to switch from SAE gross to SAE net hp. This was done to better reflect real world hp figures. The compression ratio was lowered to comply with emissions standards but in many cases it only lowered power by around 10%. The SAE net hp of this car was 212.1hp which pushed this big brute to 120mph and could reach 60 in 10.8 seconds. Considering the car weighs as much as a modern-day Tahoe this was impressive for the year! Inside you will find AM/FM radio, cassette stack, spare tire, cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, jack, power windows, ABS, tilt wheel, leather interior and radial tires. Don’t miss this chance to own this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars of Houston at (832) 243-6220 for more information on the car, financing information or to talk about purchasing. You can also email us at houston@gatewayclassiccars.com. The car is in our showroom at 1910 Cypress Station Dr #200, Houston, TX 77090. If you are seeing the car advertised anywhere other than www.gatewayclassiccars.com then please visit the vehicle’s homepage for more info, pictures and a video of the car running and driving http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/HOU/1255/1973-Lincoln-Mark-IV.
