The two-toned pearlized copper and brown paint is complimented with all kinds of custom accents and trim, including hydro dipped wood-grained valve covers, air cleaner, and even the fuel tank! The beautiful paint job even carries right into the engine bay, making it a beautiful sight to see whether the hood is up or down. Powering this jewel is an AMC 343 and tranny out of a 1969 AMX bored 30 over.

Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is this beastly 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible PRO-MOD! Beastly for this car is NO UNDERSTATEMENT as looking through the photos and watching the video, will show exactly why. If you’re not a fan of photos, and video simply continue reading. This “body-off” pro-mod is powered by a Kenne Bell supercharged Turn Key LS3 said to put out over 1,000HP. The heads are Dart PR01’s and makes this car a true monster for the road. This car flies through the powerband with the Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. The power is put to the ground through the 12-bolt Detroit Speed rear end. With this much power the key is to keep it cool, so the car is fitted with a Be Cool dual core radiator. This car gets plenty of traction through the massive rear tires that are Michelin Pilot Sport 335/30 ZR20 which some tubbing mods had to be made for a nice fit. The front tires are also Michelin Pilot Sport but sized at 255/35 ZR19. The COR Forged wheels look great on this beauty and are on great condition. The drilled and slotted disk brakes are fitted with a nice set of yellow accented BAER 6P calipers and provides more than enough stopping power. The brakes get their stopping power from the very nice HydraTech brake booster. If the overall appearance simply isn’t enough to turn someone’s head, the Hooker headers attached to the Magna-Flow dual exhaust system is surely going to make people start rubber-necking. The car also features adjustable coil-over shocks to provide a smooth ride, not that it matters when your ripping through the powerband. The exterior of the car is a clean black and is in good condition. All the body lines on this car are almost perfectly straight and shows how well this car was restored and how much attention to detail was applied. If you’re a fan of American Muscle this car is worth seeing in person. Moving inward would will see a fully custom interior. The custom stitched dash and door panels are in great condition and match the Recaro seats very well. The car features a very comfortable MOMO steering wheel, along with a set of Carbon Fiber Ultra-Lite gauges to make you aware of everything going on. This car is absolutely a beauty both inside and out and needs a new owner to let it scream down the pavement again. Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1968 Dodge Dart Pro Street “Indy Cylinder Head built the Dart”. It has a Hemi -- 605 cubic inches monster engine! That was reflected on the dyno sheets that Indy supplied with the engine: 836.8 horsepower and 752 lb.-ft of torque. The Hemi was teamed with an equally stout J.W. Performance Transmission–built 727 with a 4,200-stall converter and a narrowed rear end equipped with Strange axles and a Detroit Locker that are up to the task of taming all that Hemi power. Outside, what was left of the original Dart’s body structure was plenty enough to build from, once the floors and quarters were replaced with new steel. AAR Fiberglass’ bolt-on hood, bumper, front fender, doors, and decklid reproductions -- plus a ’68 Super Stock–style hood scoop -- were fitted and installed before the two-stage Sikkens Viper Red enamel went on. Inside, it’s a combination of race-car safety hardware and high-end cruiser, with leather covering the SCAT racing seats, dash and door panels, and custom carpets on the floors. As for a sound system, the Hemi’s custom exhaust system is for that purpose. Engine: There’s big, there’s huge—and then there’s this Indy Cylinder Head–built Street Legend Hemi. Displacing 605 inches, it features Indy’s aluminum 41/2-inch bore block, with a forged Callies crankshaft and Eagle H-beam rods, forged 10.75:1 compression Wiseco pistons, and a Comp Cams solid-roller camshaft. A pair of Indy’s 426-1RA heads, ported Indy intake with a 1050-cfm Holley Dominator, MSD ignition, and a custom-built exhaust system finalize the overgrown air pump. Transmission: J.W. Performance Transmission-built 727 with a reverse–manual valve body, 9-inch/4,200 stall convertor with a trans brake, B&M shifter, and a Gear Vendors overdrive. Rear: Narrowed 9-inch is filled with a 4.56-geared Detroit Locker differential and Strange axles. Suspension: (Front) Art Morrison’s Super Strut, (Rear) X-link with Strange coil overs and ladder bars. Brakes: Four-wheel discs with Wilwoods in front and Strange Engineering rotors and calipers in the rear. Wheels/Tires: Welds and Mickey Thompsons (Front) 15x4½-inch wheels on 26x7.50x15 M/T Sportsman tires, (Rear) 15x14-inch Double Bead lock wheels on M/T’s 32x17.50x15 ET Streets. Paint/Body: Original unibody had its floors and trunk replaced before it was fitted to the round-tube frame. AAR Fiberglass provided the hood, front fenders, trunk lid, and bumpers, and Rick Perry (aided by Don Reese and Ron Sheed) got it all ready for the Sikkens two-stage Viper Red enamel. Interior: Fernando Torres custom-stitched the SCAT Sportsman race bucket seats, door panels, and dash pad in tan leather with matching suede inserts. Steering wheel is a repro Tuff one on a Flaming River tilter, and tan/brown carpets cover the floors. This is one serious bad boy, gas sucking, tire evaporating machine! With just over 2,000 miles on the freshly rebuilt 427 cubic inch and very few on the build overall, this replica of an extraordinary piece of automotive history is a sight to behold. The GT-40 was developed to compete with Ferrari at the 24 hours of Le Mans and was able to win four consecutive years from 1966-1969 including a 1-2-3 finish the very first year. Superformance replicates these cars nearly exactly the way you would have seen them racing all of those years ago. This GT-40 was built back in 2008 and features the same Gulf orange and blue paint scheme that was on the original race cars. Protecting the paint is a clear bra on the front and was ceramic coated just last year in 2016 which makes it easy to maintain and clean when you decide to show it. As you open the door and slide in over the seat, you feel as if you have just slide into the cockpit of a rocket ship rather than a classic car. 5-point seat belt harnesses, a line of switches along the dash, and plenty of gauges to monitor, you start to understand what it must have been like to race one for hours on end. This one however has a feature that those racers would have loved to have; air conditioning! With the engine just behind you and such a light weight car, there was not much for heat or sound dampening. The air conditioning makes the longer cruises much more bearable. The raw power this car puts out with little weight will throw you back harder in your seat than almost any other car out there. Complete your childhood dream, by owning the car you never thought possible for a fraction of the cost of the real deal!
