Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa Is proud to be able to offer this sleek 1960 Buick LeSabre. This beautiful machine has only 51,551 miles on it and is ready to hit route 66 for a cross country cruise.
The 1960 LeSabre received a major facelift, the new body design sharing only the roof and trunk lid with the 1959 model. The new Buick now sported a concave grille and horizontal headlights centered by Buick's then-new "Tri-Shield" logo, which is still in use today. Reintroduced to Electras and other Buicks for 1960 were the chrome "VentiPort" portholes first introduced in 1940 and last seen in 1957. LeSabre and Invicta models had three portholes while Electras and Electra 225s were "four-holers".
Inside, a revised instrument panel featured a "Mirromatic" speedometer for which the lens could be adjusted to better visibility to suit the driver. A new two-spoke steering wheel with horn bars was introduced, replacing the time-honored horn ring then still common to most automobiles. The 250- and 300-horsepower 364-cubic-inch V8s were continued from 1959, but a new no-cost option was a 235-horsepower lower-compression two-barrel version of the 364 with a lower compression ratio to permit use of regular-grade gasoline instead of the premium fuel required with all other Buick engines.
This Buick two door hard top is in fantastic shape inside and out. The crazy stylish red, black, and white interior is completely redone to feel fresh and in like new condition. Silver paint that shines in the sun with chrome all over the body makes this car very sharp and turns heads anywhere that it goes. The real fun is with the 3 on the tree manual transmission. This car starts right up and runs like a dream.

Engine: 455 CID 4BBL V8Transmission: TH400Mileage: 10,000 ( since rebuilt )
Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer this amazing 1969 Buick GS 400 Stage 1. The Stage 1 was a bit of a humble legend in the muscle car world when it arrived. Although its GM brethren motor divisions were producing cars like GTO, Chevelle SS and 4-4-2’s, that didn't mean Buick was standing pat. In fact, the GS 400 got standard functional hood scoops for '69, something none of its higher-profile corporate siblings had. The "Cool Air" induction system used a twin-snorkel air cleaner with two foam muffs that sealed against the scoop openings. Some local circles even dubbed the car “The Judge Killer”. New for 1969 were the Stage 1 and Stage 2 options on these iconic muscle cars. Stage 1 boosted output to 345 bhp. It had a high-lift cam, 11.0:1 compression instead of 10.25:1, a special carburetor and fuel pump, and larger low-restriction exhausts. The original, numbers matching engine for this GS Stage 1 sits on an engine stand and will come with the GS if you decide to add this beauty to your collection. Currently under the hood is a 1971 455cid that has been completely rebuilt to Stage 1 specs with roughly 10,000 miles on the overhaul. Power is paired to a TH400 floor mounted automatic and spins the 3:42 Posi rear end to translate power to pavement. This GS 400 Stage 1 is only 1 of 832 automatic’s ever built and with power steering and power brakes, it makes this muscle car a blast to drive. All brake components have been addressed and rebuilt for reliability and drivability. You can confidently drive this Buick anywhere although its main use was as a fair-weather cruiser. The GS 400 Stage 1 is dressed in Crystal Blue which accents all of the restored chrome with a touch of luxury and class. The interior is a place of comfort just as Buick intended and provides great options like tilt wheel and extremely comfortable bucket seats with a console. Buick rallyes look mirror like and even the clock works on this beauty. If you’ve been looking for an iconic muscle car that you can drive and enjoy, this is likely your best candidate. Check it out at www.GatewayClassicCars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff at 313.982.3100. Email us at Detroit@GatewayClassicCars.com for more information.
