The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1970 Ford Mach 1. The Mach 1 package was only available in the 'SportsRoof' body style (previously known as the 'Fastback'); never on the hardtop or convertible. Many resto-mod visual conversions have since been performed by owners and enthusiasts, but are not Mach 1's by VIN code. The Mach 1 started with V8 powered 'Sportsroof' body and added numerous visual and performance enhancing items such as matte black hood treatment with hood pins, hood scoop (including optional Shaker scoop), competition suspension, chrome pop-open gas cap, revised wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires, chrome exhaust tips (except 351W 2V), deluxe interior, livery and dealer optional chin spoiler, rear deck spoiler, and rear window louvers (SportSlats). Mach 1s came with upgraded suspension to varying degrees dependent upon powertrain choices. Big block cars had front shock tower reinforcement, thicker sway bars (no rear bar for 69), and heavier springs and shocks. 428 CJ/SCJ 4 speed cars also came with staggered rear shocks. Standard on Mach 1s was a fierce but cosmetic hood scoop that had integrated turn-signal lights mounted in the back. A more functional option was the signature "Shaker hood", an air scoop mounted directly to the top of the motor, used to collect fresh air and so named for its tendency to "shake" above the rumbling V-8 below. The interior came complete with teak wood grain details, full sound deadening material and high-back sport bucket seats. Ford kept the Mach 1 alive into 1970 and little changed other than the visuals. The 1970 body included dual-beam headlights with the previous inner headlights becoming sport lamps and recessed taillights on a black honeycomb rear panel, side scoops behind both doors removed, revised bucket seats, deep dish sports wheel covers, as well as new side and rear badging and striping were the main visual differences. 1970 saw the previous 351W V8 engine options replaced with a new 351 cu in (5.8 L) Cleveland (351C) V8 in either 2V (for use with 2-venturi carbs) or 4V (for use with 4-venturi carbs) versions. The 351C 4V (M code) engine featured 11.0:1 compression and produced 300 bhp (224 kW; 304 PS) at 5400 rpm. This new performance engine incorporated elements learned from the Ford 385 series engine and the Boss 302, particularly the poly-angle combustion chambers with canted valves and the thin-wall casting technology. Options include: Power Steering,Power Brakes, Rally Wheels, AM/FM Radio w CD, Vinyl interior, radial tires. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback. The Fastback Mustang is one of the most iconic cars of the muscle car era. Its slick styling and great color combinations make these cars highly sought after. This example has had a partial restoration with the Grabber Green paint being the star of the show. The car came from the factory that bright green with the black accents added during the build. The hood scoop is reminiscent of the Boss’s and really grab a ton of attention. Underneath that hood is a respectable 302 that sounds as good as the car looks. Mated up to a C4 transmission that was recently rebuilt using an upgraded shift kit and 2300 flash stall this Pony is ready to run. With the Pony’s ability to get up to speed taken care of the slowing down part was the next part to be addressed. With all new lines, disc on the front and drums on the rear stopping this fastback is as simple as hitting the pedal. Completing the mechanical side of things was the suspension which had the following components replaced, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, and shocks allowing for a rather plush ride. Open the door and a fresh interior jumps right out at you. The new seat covers look great while the new foam keeps everyone riding in comfort. The new headliner looks great while the dash cover ties it all together. The new carpet seals the deal and completes a very fresh interior. If you have been wanting one of the most iconic cars of the era painted in one of the most iconic colors this 70 Fastback is exactly that. Options on this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback include, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Rally Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1. This 1970 Mach 1 for sale in covered in iconic Grabber orange with black rally stripe and looks like it just drove out of the showroom for the first time. With the speed of sound being around 761 miles per hour and this speed being designated Mach1, Ford produced Mustangs with this title to let you know just how fast it was. Sitting between the front shock towers is the small block Ford that a lot of big blocks chased back then. The 351 Windsor and sitting on top of this power plant is an Edlebrock® performer 351-w intake with one of Vic’s own Carburetors. This of course provides plenty of power to blister the poor rear tires on this incredible pony car. Bolted to the back of this Engine is a 4-speed manual transmission giving the driver more control of just how long the rear tires last and of course how much smoke he put in the face of the Challenger behind him. The rear axle housing is Fords finest, a 9 inch that houses a 3.50 gear set. Maybe this should be a Mach2? With all this go, there must be enough whoa to go around so, power disc on every corner provide all you will need. Open the driver’s door and slide in to the control seat, let your left foot get used to the throw on the clutch, while your right finds the limit of the loud pedal. While getting used to the controls, take a look around at the like new high-backed bucket seats, center console, dash, carpet and head liner and try to remember that it is 2018 and not 1971. While sitting behind the wheel just try to not run through the gears and imagine the wild ride you could give this car, heck you would make Ken Block want to watch your you tube video. Heck I’ll watch it, I am a sucker for a fastback Mustang and this one is as good as it gets! Options for this 1970 Mustang Mach 1 for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio, Power steering and Brakes, Seat belts Posi Traction and Radial tires. Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this 1970 Ford Mustang coupe for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. This immaculate pony car has been customized from top to bottom starting with painting the classic lines a medium silver and accenting it with tastefully applied gloss black stripes. The black leather interior contrasts nicely with the silver/black body. The argent-colored wheels are from a late-model Mustang but they appear right at home on this awesome coupe. The bigger wheels and the lowered stance fill the wheelwells much better than Ford designers ever intended. Under the hood, a fully detailed compartment houses a 302 CID V8 featuring an aluminum intake, Holley carb., and headers into true dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. It sounds just like you'd expect it to! With air conditioning, the cooling system needed beefing up from stock, so a heavy-duty aluminum radiator now handles the task of keeping this '70 Mustang running at the right temperature. This classic American icon is turn-key and ready to go so that all the new owner has to do is get in and drive it. If you're a classic Mustang fan, you'll love this sexy pony car. Now available in our DFW Showroom is this 1972 Ford Mustang. The 1972 Ford Mustangs changed very little from the 1971 models, except the Boss 351 did not return for a second year. Outside of red/white and blue color schemes, the only obvious difference was the Mustang name on the rear was now smaller and on the right side, instead of across the center. This 1972 Mustang began life as a Grande version, but has been converted over time. It is powered by a strong number’s matching 351 Cleveland with an FMX Auto transmission. The engine has been rebuilt, which the owner added a new intake and carburetor at this time. It has only approximately 2,500 miles since the rebuild. Other things updated by the owner include: Petronics electronic ignition installed with a new grab a track front suspension kit and steering kit. Also new is the following: -brake lines, rotors, calipers-on front, drum-lines, headliner, carpet, dash-pads, deluxe door panels, shock absorbers, classic air conditioning system, radiator, belt, hoses, chrome-front and rear bumpers, windshield trim, mustang badges, door weather stripping & trunk seal. With all that being done, this vehicle is ready to hit the road and take someone for an awesome cruise. Will that be you? Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible for sale in their Indianapolis showroom. Just in time for the summer cruising season, this yellow drop-top is sure to turn a few heads as you roll past. The Mustang is an American classic, and they have been sought after and revered since their introduction in 1964 ½. The fourth generation Mustangs were built from 1971-1973 model years, with 1973 being the last year of the “pony car” era. The Mustang fell victim to the energy crunch of the day, and the following year changed focus to a more economical car. This Mustang has been in the care of its current owner for the past 27 years. In that time the car has benefitted from new floor pans, a new hood, and repaint, as well as interior upgrades and regular engine maintenance. The original carburetor, intake and AM 8-track audio unit, as well as, rear seat interior trim panels are all available as a part of the sale. The factory air conditioning system is currently inoperable and would need properly diagnosed to determine what’s wrong. Power comes from the tried and true 351 C V8, mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission. Other factory options include; vinyl interior, alloy wheels, power steering and brakes, spare tire, and power operating convertible top. Powering this mighty machine is a 351C V8, what is the “C” mean? Well it’s a Cleveland built engine and in the motor world that means more power and a heftier build. Backing this Powerplant is a 4-speed manual transmission.Keep in mind the this is a Numbers Matching car "as stated by the owner" and it will not be going down in value. This will give you the opportunity to drop a gear and show these late model cars what true muscle is! For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is a 1967 Ford Mustang. With a quick look at this 1967 Mustang, with its light blue body, white hardtop, and white striping, anyone can see that this is a killer example of an American icon. 1967 saw the first redesign of Ford’s massively successful pony car. The body was enlarged, while keeping the same wheelbase, allowing for big block engine offerings, front and rear end styling was more pronounced and aggressive, and instrument panel offered a thicker crash pad, and larger gauges. The body styles were carried over from the previous year, offering hardtop, fastback, and convertible options. Along with the light blue and white two tone exterior, this Mustang features a matching light blue interior as well. A 289 CID V8 can be found under the hood powering this pony, and that power is fed through an automatic transmission. All of these factors put together add up to a car that not only looks amazing, but drives as good as it looks too. Now available in our DFW Showrooms is this custom built 1932 Ford Sedan. Today, the 1932 Model B, although always a little bit in the shadow of the V8, is a highly collectible car and people will pay high dollars to restore one to original specification, which is ironic, as they were once cheap "throwaway" cars popular with hot rodders who would tear them apart and use them as the basis for a "build". This is partly why it is so hard to find an unaltered specimen today. Our 1932 is no exception as it has been rebuilt from the ground up! When starting with a custom-rod, where else do you begin then heart of the vehicle. This 1932 is powered around by a straight out the GM crate- Mr.Goodwrench 350-V8 motor, with aluminum heads, edelbrock carb 650 CFM, and a MSD Ignition. Which creates plenty of ponies to the back wheels. Speaking of wheels, this ride is rolling on a fabulous combo set of US-Mags wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. These all connect to Rust’No’More chassis and a fiberglass body sitting on top. Other additional upgrades to this vehicle include: Aluminum rod 3 core speedway, Pete & Jake frontend, SoCal gas tank, Disc brakes, and Muffler headers. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
