Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to offer this sharp 1951 Hudson Hornet. If you have children and have ever seen the “Cars” movie then you will surly want to add this Hudson Hornet to your collection.

All Hornets from 1951 to 1953 were powered by Hudson’s high-compression straight six “H-145” engine. In 1954, power was increased to 170 HP from 140 HP. Starting in 1952 an optional “twin-H” or twin one-barrel Carburetor setup was available at an additional cost. An L head (flathead or side valve) design, at 308 cu inch (5.0L) it was the “largest displacement six-cylinder engine in the world” at that time. It had a two-barrel carburetor and produced 145 HP at 3800 RPM and 275 LB of torque. The engine was capable of far more power in the hands of precision tuners, including Marshall Teague, who claimed he could get 112 miles per hour from an AAA or Nascar certified stock Hornet, as well as Hudson engineers who developed “severe usage” options (thinly disguised racing parts) The combination of the Hudson engine and overall road-ability of the dirt and the very few paved tracks of the 1950s. The newly introduced “Twin H-power” was available in November 1951 as a dealer installed option at the cost of $85.60. An electric clock was standard. The total production of the Hornet in 1951 was only 43,656 units.

This 6-cylinder automatic Hornet is numbers matching and original to the car but has been rebuilt about 150 miles ago. This is a sharp driver quality car that has a unique brownstone color with matching cloth interior. Options on this car include; Am radio, Hub caps, Seat belts, wide white walls and raised white letters. Throughout his long ownership, everything that's ever needed attention was attended to. It's been painted and a new interior was sewn up for it several years ago. Although the interior looks period-correct, it's not exactly as it left Wolfsburg in 1963. Only judges at a VW concours show would know the difference. Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia offers this exquisite this striking 1966 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 at our showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! With competition coming from all directions, Oldsmobile came out strong with the introduction of the 4-4-2! While it was a worthy competitor, the 4-4-2 fell short of cubic inches and the straight-line performance seen in cars like the GTO and Chevelle. To answer the call, Oldsmobile prepared a new 400 engine in 1965 and revamped the 4-4-2 package with simulated rear fender scoops and colorful 4-4-2 badges. Thanks to these changes, Oldsmobile saw significant success in their sales and were looking forward to the 1966 model year. This superb 4-4-2 is perhaps one of the nicest examples of the treasured muscle car from 1966 and appears just as it did from the showroom! This beauty received the full treatment with a frame off restoration including the glass being replaced and coded, black interior totally redone and all suspension components rebuilt! Painted in stunning silver metallic, the car has a beautiful finish and it is heavily emphasized with the mirror-finish chrome and brightwork that was all restored! Powering this incredible machine is the numbers matching 400 CID V8, rebuilt 300 miles ago, equipped with the legendary Track Pac, an over-the-counter Tri-Carb conversion kit that boosted power from 350 to 360 horsepower! Perhaps the coolest part of the engine bay is the Outside Air Induction package (OAI). The OAI features dual air scoops that are incorporated in the front bumpers which interestingly forced the relocation of the front turn-signals. To make room for the scoops, the factory moved the turn signals in about a foot! You won’t see this on your average Olds! This car really moves and you can feel the power as you shift through all four gears!
