Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza up for sale. In the dawning age of the high-horsepower muscle car era, the 1966 Chevrolet Corvair stood as an alternative to import cars like the Volkswagen Beetle with its rear-engine, rear-drive configuration. In 1966, the Chevrolet Corvair was offered with numerous body styles, and this particular Corvair is the four-passenger, two-door Monza Sport Coupe model. It pairs the 140-horsepower flat-six engine with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, which uses a dash-mounted gear selector to open up even more space for the compact car's interior. According to the trim tag, the 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza you see here was originally painted Lemonwood Yellow, but it has since been repainted in the pastel green, which is one of the more popular colors you'll find this car in. This Corvair was also built with factory air conditioning (which is currently not hooked up) and the Convenience Group that includes an inside mirror, remote-control outside mirror, door edge guards, under hood light, luggage compartment light and a glove box light. Options on this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair include AM/FM radio, seat belts, vinyl interior and radial tires.

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer up this stunning 1966 Chevrolet Corvette for sale. Between the modern powertrain and the classic styling, this car is definitely a show stopper. Under the "Stinger" hood of this beast is a Chevrolet LS3 that would have been found in a more modern C5 Vette. Upon starting the engine, everyone around can hear the deep, burbly sounds of the side pipes. This swap not only provides much more power and drivability to the car, but it also makes servicing much easier considering that all of the parts needed for the engine are still mass produced by companies for GM. As for the engine itself, it runs very strong and brings as much power to the car as a big block would have back in the day (hence the big block hood). Sending that modern power to the rear end is a five speed manual transmission that shifts firmly through the gears with an extremely short shifter throw. This car having a modern powertrain, of course it has disc brakes all around that provide a good initial bite along with firm stopping power thanks to a wilwood master cylinder. Moving outward, the exterior of the car is finished in a traditional light blue metalic that looks very nice and correct for the era of car. Finishing the stinger hood is a white stripe. Overall the paint is in very good condition and shows well. Supporting each corner of this beauty are chrome alloy wheels wrapped in low profile performance tires with good life left in them likely sourced from a C5. The white soft top is also in very good condition and moves freely as it should. Upon entering the cabin, the driver will be greeted by a light blue interior to match the exterior. Overall, the interior is in very good condition and accents the excellent work performed on the powertrain and suspension. The vinyl seats provide plenty of comfort while still maintaining decent support for cornering. In the summer months, the driver will appreciate the convertible soft top that lets in plenty of sunshine and fresh air. We have a fantastic 1966 Chevy II Nova here in our Milwaukee location. It features a slick black paint with black interior with bucket seats and a center console automatic shifter. It features a 350ci small block Chevrolet boasting a little over 500hp. This is a rare car made for power, no air conditioning or power steering. Turn the key and feel it rumble, the sound it gives off is amazing. 1966 Chevy IIs introduced an extensive sharp-edged restyle based in part on the Super Nova concept car. In general, proportions were squared up but dimensions and features changed little. Highlights included a bold grille and semi-fastback roofline. "Humped" fenders in an angular rear end were reminiscent of larger 1966 Chevrolets, though the 1966 Chevy II and Nova had vertical taillights and single headlights. The lineup again started with Chevy II 100 and Chevy II Nova 400 models. For just $159 (equal to $1,199.27 today) more than a Nova 400, buyers could choose a Nova Super Sport. Available only in a Sport Coupe, the Nova SS was top of the line. The 194 cu in (3.18 L) inline-six was standard on the Super Sport, but any Chevy II (excluding four-cylinder) engine could be coupled with the SS. The Nova SS was visually distinguished by wide rocker panels and a bright aluminum deck lid cove. It had bright SS emblems on the grille and in the ribbed rear panel, and Super Sport script on the quarter panels. Wheel covers were inherited from the 1965 Malibu SS. Strato-bucket front seats were included, but a tachometer cost extra. The ’66 Chevy II sales brochure clearly promoted the Super Sport as the “Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Super Sport,” but the name "Nova" was not used anywhere on the body. Front and rear emblems displayed "Chevy II SS. In 1967, Chevy II was still the name of the vehicle, but the Nova SS option package replaced all Chevy II badging with Nova SS badging. This beautiful vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1966 Chevy II Nova in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1966 Impala 2-door. The exterior is finished in a beautiful red and the interior is done in custom red/pearl which matches amazingly. Under the hood you will find a revuilt 283 CID V8 engine. The power is delivered to the wheels via a smooth shifting automatic transmission. The distributor, coil, cap and rotor have recently been changed. 1966 represented the second model year for the fourth generation Impala. Redesigned in 1965, the Impala set an all-time industry annual sales record of more than 1 million units in the United States. All new full-size Chevrolets eschewed the "X" frame for a full-width perimeter frame, a new body that featured curved, frameless side glass (for pillarless models), sharper angled windshield with newly reshaped vent windows, and redesigned full-coil suspension. The Impala would be the #2-selling convertible in the US in 1966, with 38,000 sold; it was beaten only by the Mustang. It was the final generation of Impala before they started being robbed of power from the new emissions control systems brought in in the early 70’s. Anyone looking at the pictures and video of this beautiful machine can clearly see why it’s a great buy. The design is timeless. Don’t wait until it’s gone to inquire. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at email@example.com.

We have a stunning 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful red paint with red interior. It features a 454ci Chevrolet V8 with a 4 speed transmission. It rumbles like a beast! It has power steering, power brakes, rally wheels and aluminum rims. 1966 saw a complete restyle of the Chevelle on the previous frame that included smooth contours, a broad new grille and bumper treatment, and curved side windows. Bulging rear fender lines and a "flying buttress" roofline (tunneled into the "C" pillar) were highlights of the '66 hardtops, shared with other GM "A" body models. The new body reflected the "Coke bottle" body shape that became the fad for American cars in the mid-1960s. A 4-door hardtop-styled Sport Sedan joined the Malibu series. It was an attractive car and was offered through 1972, but never achieved the high-production figures as the pillared sedan. Chevelles continued in 300, 300 Deluxe, and Malibu trim. Available engines were a 327-cubic-inch V8 instead of either of the sixes, or the mid-level option, a 220-horsepower 283-cubic-inch V8. Options included a tachometer, mag-style wheel covers, and sintered-metallic brakes, four-way power seats, a tissue dispenser, and cruise control. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this beautiful 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 283 CID V8Transmission: 2-Speed AutomaticMileage: 18,176 ( actual )
Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this gorgeous 1960 Chevrolet Impala! This is no ordinary Impala. This is a true survivor car. The 283 CID V8 engine is the original that was put in the car in the factory when it was being put together. Covering only 18,176 miles since it first drove off the showroom floor all those years ago. Amazingly, the paint on this car has the original undercoat on it! Even the original AM radio in the car works as it should. This is part of a two-model-year run for the second generation of the much-loved Impala. The 1959 Chevrolet Impala was redesigned. Sharing bodyshells with lower-end Buicks and Oldsmobiles as well as with Pontiac, part of a GM economy move, the Chevrolet's wheelbase was 1-1/2 inches longer. Using a new X-frame chassis, the roof line was three inches lower, bodies were two inches wider, and curb weight increased. Its tailfins protruded outward, rather than upward. The taillights were a large "teardrop" design at each side, and two slim-wide nonfunctional front air intake scoops were added just above the grille, The Impala became a separate series, adding a four-door hardtop and four-door sedan, to the two-door Sport Coupe and convertible. Sport Coupes featured a shortened roof line and wrap-over back window. Standard were front and rear armrests, an electric clock, dual sliding sun visors, and crank-operated front vent windows. A contoured hooded instrument panel held deep-set gauges. A six-way power seat was a new option, as was "Speed minder", for the driver to set a needle at a specific speed and a buzzer would sound if the pre-set was exceeded. The 1960 Impala models reinstated three round taillights on each side, and a white band running along the rear fenders. The TH-350 automatic transmission with a transmission cooler and B&M torque converter transfers the power to the 12 bolt rear end with 3.08 gears. The red exterior paint was applied in 2011 and shows well. The white vinyl top was also replaced the same year along with a new hydraulic pump and motor.
