Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer one very cool 1965 Pontiac GTO. You won’t be able to help yourself from humming “Little GTO” when you fire up this bright red beauty. As Ronnie and the Daytonas sung in their 60’s classic, “Turn it on, wind it up, blow it out, GTO”. This ’65 has the iconic 3 deuces and a 4 speed that any Pontiac fan can appreciate. It sports a Pontiac 400 from a ’68, but still has the look and feel you’d expect from a ’65. The snappy red exterior is set off with a set of polished Cragar SSs wrapped in white wall tires. This one sports a unique white vinyl top which matches the white vinyl interior. Front buckets and a floor shifter leave no questioning what type of car this is: a true muscle car. This is however, the gentleman’s muscle car, so a wood rimming steering wheel and wood grain dash dress up the cabin. Power steering and power brakes are a must in a full sized car with the power that this one has. When you hit wide open throttle, you can hear all 3 carbs gulping fresh air to feed the beast. Needless to say, they just don’t make them like they used to. This little slice of muscle car history is available in our Dallas showroom. Swing by for a closer look, or check out www.GatewayClassicCars.com for 100+ photos and a video. Contact 817-310-9400 or email@example.com with inquiries.

“Little GTO…You’re really lookin’ fine…” You can almost hear the song as you ride in this beautiful 1965 Pontiac GTO. This amazing numbers matching convertible packs a 389 cubic inch V8 engine, with added Tri-Power intake and Posi-Traction rear end and 323 gear ratio. It also comes with the protecto plate and Pontiac Historical Services documentation. The GTO’s creation involved transforming the upcoming second-generation Pontiac Tempest into a "Super Tempest", or "Grand Tempest Option", with a larger 389 cu in Pontiac V8 engine from the full-sized Pontiac Catalina and Bonneville in place of the standard 326 cu in V8. By promoting the big-engine "Grand Tempest" as a special high-performance model, they could appeal to the speed-minded youth market. The GTO disregarded GM's policy limiting the A-body intermediate line to a maximum engine displacement of 330 cu in (5.4 L). Pontiac general manager Elliot "Pete" Estes approved the new model, although sales manager Frank Bridge, who did not believe it would find a market, insisted on limiting initial production to 5,000 cars. This 1965 GTO is for sale in our Milwaukee Showroom and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (262) 891-4253 for additional information.

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to offer this super clean 1965 pontiac GTO tribute car. Between the healthy powerplant and the sharp body lines, this car is truly a very well done example of a tribute car. Under the hood of this beauty is a pontiac 400 CID V8 that was rebuilt roughly 8,000 miles ago. Thanks to that fresh rebuild, the engine pulls well and provides the muscle that GTOs are known for. Sending the power rearward is a rebuilt four-speed Muncie transmission with about 1,000 miles on it. The transmission shifts extremely well through the gears providing the driver with just the right amount of feedback withought being too stiff through the new Hurst shifter. Other new driveline components include the flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. The rear end on the car is a ten-bolt geard to a 3.08 ratio which provides plenty of top end for highway cruising. The engine is kept cool by a brand new aluminum radiator which was fitted very recently. Overall, this powertrain is very well put together and certainly provides the driver with an authentic muscle car feel. Upon entering the cabin of this beauty, the driver will be greeted by an extremely clean red vinyl interior that accents the red paint nicely. Power steering and brakes allow for better control of the car while also enhancing comfort. Continuing with comfort, the car features a modern air conditioning system which blows cold and makes this car a pleasure to drive on both fair weather days, and hot summer days. Functioning heat will keep the occupants comfortable in the wintertime also. Tucked in the dash is an AM/FM radio that allows for an enjoyable audio experience. Overall the interior of this sweet ride is put together nicely just like the rest of the car. Moving outward, the exterior of the car is finished in a deep Gaurds Red paint that looks very sharp and gives the car just the right amount of class and aggressiveness to make for an excellent weekend cruiser. Supporting all four corners of this sweet ride are Craigar chrome rally wheels wrapped in almost new BFG radial tires. Overall, this car is a very solid tribute car done the right way that will serve the new owner well. Very few cars have survived this long and remained in this great of condition without being totally restored! This beautiful 1965 GTO Convertible in cameo ivory paint truly is untouched and still retains the original equipment that it rolled off the showroom floor with when it was brand new. The numbers matching 389 cubic inch V8 has been rebuilt with less than 2,500 miles on it since rebuild and fires up with ease thank to the meticulous maintenance through the years. If the condition of this car isn’t enough to attest to the great care taken then the binder full of receipts will take you on a trip through history also. Sitting behind the wheel of this muscle car is definitely a privilege. Gripping the shifter for the 4 speed Muncie transmission that was a rear option for these cars really transports you back in time and makes you feel like you are speeding even while sitting still. Exhaust gases are expelled through a set of dual stainless steel Flowmasters. Giving the car it’s stance are the chrome Crager wheels wrapped in radial tires. But if those are not your style the original wheels and hub caps are included. Chrome dash accents along with hardware compliment the black interior. Keeping you cool while you enjoy the ride is the dealer installed air conditioning. If you are more into cruising with the top down then you will truly appreciate the recently replaced black power convertible top! Full PHS documentation package is included with the sale of this GTO as well as a protecto plate and original manuals. Our Detroit Showroom is proud to offer the king of the muscle cars. This 1965 Pontiac GTO is a great example of what American Muscle is all about. GTO’s are what legends are made of and when the Pontiac GTO was introduced to America in September 1963, it created an entirely new market segment that sparked a reaction throughout the auto industry. Today we know that reaction as the muscle-car era. By 1966, all the domestic automobile manufacturers had their response to the GTO. Some were good, some were hastily slapped together, and others missed the mark altogether. It could be argued that none of them possessed the combination of performance, style, image, and affordability of the GTO. This Tri-Power 389ci V-8 is mated to 4 speed manual transmission. This combination is the one you want and really puts the power to the pavement. Some nice upgrades include the MSD 6AL ignition, tubular headers w/ dual flowmaster exhaust. This GTO looks very aggressive in beautiful Red with Black vinyl interior and is set off by its chrome Cragar wheels and redline tires. If you are looking for the iconic muscle car that started it all, this GTO is ready for your collection. For more information including over 120HD photos and video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com . “Hero Car” is a term in the classic car enthusiasts world that denotes a vehicle of extreme desire and reverence; a bonafide statement of steel, heritage, and classic styling. Our newest arrival at the Gateway Classic Cars showroom in St. Louis, MO, has certainly earned the rights to this esteemed moniker. The 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 6.6, iconically donned in Starlight Black with gold embleming, was, and still is, the definition of “ Bitchin’ ”. The 2nd generation of GM/Pontiac’s F-Body vehicles hosted an array of impressive body lines, eye-opening powertrain, and new options for over a decade (1970-1981), and this specific arrival is a shining example of why the 2nd generation held such a lengthy tenure. This high-option Trans Am has been lovingly cared for and maintained, boasting a 6.6 litre 403 CID 4 BBL V8 and 3-Speed automatic transmission. A quick decoding of the VIN will lead its next satisfied caretaker on a journey through its production, which took place in the Van Nuys, California plant. From thereon, she was shipped for initial sale to Miller Pontiac-GMC in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Once parked and displayed, it wouldn’t be long before this bird found a new cage to break through. This Trans Am stands aggressively confident in its originality with a mere 42,269 miles. Mild restoration is suspected to have taken place throughout the years, but only with undying respect for maintaining the Pontiac patrimony. The engine bay, trunk, and undercarriage are all rock-solid, flat black, and free of unsightly rust - an absolute rarity for a Midwestern car. The traditional Firebird graphics and decals, unlike many other ever-peeling examples on the market, were done professionally and with respect to original placement and quality. Opening the door to this sought-after carriage will display a world of options to the trained Trans Am expert. Brushed aluminum rally gauge panel, custom Hobnail bucket seats, and tilt steering wheel make up just a few of the vehicle’s adornments. Further inspection will reveal modernization in the form of a USB/CD-compatible Kenwood head unit, allowing the driver to revel in glory to the sounds of his/her favorite tracks alongside the throaty v8 exhaust note. An NOS spare tire awaits use in the trunk, while the cherished 15x8” Gold Honeycomb rally wheels motivate the vehicle. Additionally, power steering and power brakes are utilized for this build. All glass is in excellent condition. The previous owners have taken it upon themselves to acquire proper and frame-worthy PHS Documentation, as a respectful nod to the excitement that one, possibly you, would and will feel when selecting this commanding example of Pontiac’s brainchild. Idle hands on this offering will pose a dire threat to making her your next addition to the family. To view this 1979 Pontiac Trans Am in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
