Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this incredible 1954 GMC 250 Panel Truck. This truly is one of the nicest restorations we've ever had in our showroom.
This Panel has undergone a full nut and bolt restoration that nearly make the vehicle a time machine. In 1954 the truck was purchased by the Ziddel family in St. Joseph, Missouri. The Panel was used for deliveries of the family store. As many years passed, the truck was replaced and parked in a barn where it sat for approximately 40 years. In 2006, there was an estate auction where it was purchased. In 2011, the long awaited truck then got a second chance. The owners noticed that the VIN ended in 1007, decoding the fact that this Panel was the seventh off the assembly line!!! It now carries the nickname, "lucky seven". Powering the Panel is the believed to be, original 248 Inline 6 cylinder engine. These engines were vastly advertised as the new thing in performance and reliability. To quote the 1954 ad, "125 horsepower with 7.5 to 1 extra-high compression using regular gasoline!" Not only is this piece of history for sale, but it makes a functional collectible item and investment piece. Because the Panel is nearly new, hop in, turn the key and show it off! You'll turn heads at car shows, the local ice cream parlor, or family gathering. To view the vehicle running and driving along with 100+ HD pictures, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Tampa showroom. If you're a history nut like us, please search the web for original 1954 Panel advertisements. They are colorful and unique. For more information call 813-645-6200.

This custom 1988 GMC S15 is available in our Louisville KY showroom. The S15 was GMC’s version of the S10 which was a light truck that sold very well from 1983 to 1990. Many of these trucks were used as platforms in the mini truck world, a term used for lowered customized light trucks popular in the early 90’s. This example is a one owner low mileage truck that had a ton of custom work done over the years. Stat with the body and paint, the custom front end gives it a sporty style while making it appear even lower. The paint on the truck is custom and typical of what you would see done in that era. The top was cut off making this little s15 a convertible with its removable hardtop. The wheels on the truck are Dayton’s, the original spoke wheel used on many low riders. The gold spokes are clean and with these being true knock off’s that spinner is not just for looks. Under the custom louvered hood, the original engine still runs great and with it being the 2.5 liter does great on gas. The manual transmission shifts out great with the clutch still having a great feel. Inside the interior has been customized as well with the bucket seats having a velour material making them soft to the touch. The white Grant steering wheel is a great touch with the full size panoramic rear-view mirror really putting an exclamation point on the build. Options on this 1988 GMC S15 include, AM/FM Radio, Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, and Knock Off Wire Dayton’s with Radial Tires. This 1988 GMC S15 can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this classy 1983 GMC Caballero. It’s often forgotten that GMC made their own version of the well-known El Camino made by Chevrolet. The vehicle was originally names the GMC Sprint but that was changed back in ’78 to the Caballero and it remained in production until 1987. This Caballero is powered by a strong running 350 CID V8 that will push you down the road with ease. The engine is mated to a 3-speed Automatic transmission which both were rebuilt roughly 11 years ago. It may be an older rebuild however the car has only been driven an estimated 5,000 miles since the rebuild, meaning there is plenty of life left in this beauty. The true key to this classic is that it’s a 1 owner car with a clean Carfax. The car is painted in a sleek black and silver color combo that shows very well. The car also features a very nice spray-in bed liner to make for a nice work vehicle if it’s ever needed. This Caballero has all the benefits of both a car and a truck all in one. It’s light weight, fast and looks great while at the same time can be used for a quick trip to Home Depot or Lowes. Taking a seat behind the wheel you will find a matching black on silver color combination making this car truly show worthy. You may notice the empty space for a stereo, but this is simply due to the owner enjoying the sound of the car more. When driving a classic that’s all that there should be, you, the car, and the road. No need to worry because the A/C was left in place and blows nice and cold for those hot summer days. For even more information on this 1983 GMC Caballero located in our Houston showroom come by and see us or contact the showroom at (832)243-6220 or email the showroom at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com
