Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer one of the rarest sleepers you'll ever find: the 1970½ Ford Falcon. And yes, this is a Falcon!

At a time when Ford was replacing the small-body Falcon with the Maverick, the Falcon name was actually used on two different cars in 1970, the compact 1970 Falcon and the full-size 1970½ Falcon. This latter model was produced for less than six months and only available as a two-door "post" sedan (it has a B-pillar behind the driver door glass), while the Torino and Fairlane has a more extensive body offering. The car you see here was built in Ford's Atlanta, Georgia plant in May 1970, which was getting close to the end of the production for this half-year wonder. Sold originally at Gallo Ford in Chicago for a $3,840 to its current and original owner, this 1970½ Ford Falcon has less than 6,000 miles. That’s about 127 miles per year!

The 1970½ Ford Falcon was offered with several engine options, but this particular car has the legendary 429 Cobra Jet under the hood. This engine is backed by a four-speed manual transmission, and it has the optional Drag Pack with a Detroit Locker rear differential with 4.30 gears. This bulletproof setup made the 1970½ Ford Falcon extremely popular among drag racers as was the case with this car. It was drag raced for the first few years of its life and then it then sat in climate controlled storage for the next almost 40 years of its life until it was cleaned up and put up for sale in our Tampa showroom. Even more impressive, the Deluxe Marti Report shows that this 1970½ Falcon is just 1 of 42 to be powered with the Super Cobra Jet engine package but not include the Ram Air package allowing this car to fly under the radar! This car is all original with the exception of the Hurst shifter, the ignition coil and wires and the carburetor (although the original carb comes with the car).

Ultimately, the 1970½ Ford Falcon marked the end of the road for the Falcon name in North America, and this is your chance to own one of the coolest and rarest Falcons ever made!

This gorgeous 1970½ Ford Falcon comes with options such as vinyl seats, AM Radio, seat belts and Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in the original bias ply tires. You are looking at an amazing 1970 Ford Mustang Boss Tribute that found its way to our Ft Lauderdale showroom and we are thrilled to have this beautiful car. This is a great 70’s Mustang convertible with only 2 owners in its lifetime. With over $90,000 invested in this Pony, it received a full restoration 15 years ago and still looks amazing. The original 302ci V8 engine was bored to 331ci and was rebuild by Bill Mitchel Racing with less than 12,000 miles added since. This powerful engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission, power rack and pinion and with its new suspension by Steeda Autosports, this car drives fantastic. It is equipped with a 9-inch posi rear end, and a gear ratio of 3:55. for excellent stopping power the 302 has power disc brakes on all 4 corners. The exterior presents itself in the famous Ford grabber blue paint with the Boss 302 theme decals. A clean black interior is a perfect match. The car has the original body panels and she lines up beautiful. Original born with an F-Code 302ci V8, this isn’t a real Boss but you will be the boss when you drive this muscle car down the road. Be ready to smile because people will take out their phones to take pictures of you in the car. A great sound system is installed but is there better music to listen to than a V8 muscle car symphony? This isn’t just a muscle car, this is also a comfortable classic with many options to drive. All in one the Ford is ready for a new owner who will take good care of her. Grab hold of the original Hurst shifter and let it ride!!! To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1970 Ford Mustang Boss Tribute, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this awesome 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback. The Fastback Mustang is one of the most iconic cars of the muscle car era. Its slick styling and great color combinations make these cars highly sought after. This example has had a partial restoration with the Grabber Green paint being the star of the show. The car came from the factory that bright green while the black accents were added during the build. The hood scoop is reminiscent of the Boss’s and really grab a ton of attention. Underneath that hood is a respectable 302 that sounds as good as the car looks. Mated up to a C4 transmission that was recently rebuilt using an upgraded shift kit and 2300 flash stall this Pony is ready to run. With the Pony’s ability to get up to speed taken care of the slowing down part was the next part to be addressed. With all new lines, disc on the front and drums on the rear stopping this fastback is as simple as hitting the pedal. Completing the mechanical side of things was the suspension which had the following components replaced, control arms, ball joints, tie rods, and shocks allowing for a rather plush ride. Open the door and a fresh interior jumps right out at you. The new seat covers look great while the new foam keeps everyone riding in comfort. The new headliner looks great while the dash cover ties it all together. The new carpet seals the deal and completes a very fresh interior. 1931 Ford Model A

1931 Ford Model A

Engine: Flathead 4
Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 5,632 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1931 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. The Model A paved the way for mass produced vehicles. By the end of the run, Ford had produced almost 5 million Model As. These vehicles could be purchased in a variety of body styles. From sporty roadsters to industrial trucks, the platform was extremely versatile. This particular example is the popular two door, 5 window coupe, and features a fold-a-way rumble seat behind the cab of the car. 1931 would be the last year for the ever popular Model A. Most would say the 5 window to be one of the most popular, especially for hot rodders. However, this fine example is no hot rod. This is a very well cared for original that has been fitted with some aftermarket add ons. First, and fairly common, are the add on turn signals. The next one is a big one, an inline gear reduction unit, a.k.a. an overdrive unit. This will make highway speeds a reality. It engages electronically via a switch located on the steering column. The body is finished in a dark brown that features a very slight metallic flake, the fenders are a solid gloss black, and the wire wheels are finished in yellow. The body features a yellow pinstripe to tie the whole thing together. The seat in the cab and rumble seat feature black vinyl upholstery, which are in very good condition. Under the hood is a simple flat head 4-cylinder engine. It uses a 3-speed manual transmission and transfers power to the rear axle. These cars are not speed machines, but they are torquey and fun to drive around town. This one fires up nicely and runs and drives like it should. The odometer reads 5,632, but the actual mileage is unknown.
