Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this clean original 1984 Chevrolet Corvette. Between the sharp C4 lines and the relatively low mileage, this car will make an excellent driver. 1984 was the first year of the C4 body style. The C4 corvette brought back more powerful engines and the convertible option to the cars. This generation of corvette was also the first to have the Glass hatchback to allow for convenient storage in the rear. Braking was improved with aluminum calipers and new rotors. In the rear, the suspension was updated with a Fiberglass mono-leaf instead of a traditional leaf spring. Powering this sleek ride is a 5.7-liter V8 that was good for 205 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. This power helped accelerate the car to 60 MPH in a little over 6 seconds when new. Sending the V8 power to the rear wheels is a four-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears. Overall this car runs well and would be a good driver or weekend cruiser. Moving outward, this sleek ride is finished in a classy gold paint that is in good condition other than some very minor imperfections. All the appropriate badging is in place and in good condition. Supporting each corner of this ride are alloy wheels with faux spinners wrapped in BF Goodrich radial tires that have decent tread life left in them. Upon entering the interior, the driver will feel very comfortable thanks to the power leather seats which feature lumbar support. The wood dash also adds a touch of class and luxury. Keeping the driver comfortable year-round are functional AC/heat. This car is loaded with amenities such as power mirrors, power windows, power brakes, power steering and power locks. In the summer months, the driver will appreciate the removable glass top that allows for plenty of sunshine and fresh air. When it comes time to listen to some driving music, the sound system in this car is sure to impress. Overall this is a nice car and a great entry-level Corvette To see all the HD pictures and video, please go to http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/HOU/1124/1984-chevrolet-corvette. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1984 El Camino. The El Camino is not really a truck yet not really a car but something in between. It has had the hearts and imagination of many since its release in the late 50’s. They gained popularity in the mid 60’s but really came on strong in the 80’s. Most recently many have taken these trucks/cars and put stronger engines making them a lot more fun to drive. This 84 stayed true to its roots with a correct 305 CI V8 paired to a 3 speed automatic transmission. The interior of the car is the original blue cloth and appears to be in great shape with no major signs of wear. The Saint Louis Showroom of Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this third-generation Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Originally, the Chevrolet Camaro was designed to be a pony/muscle. It first went on sale on September 29, 1966, for the 1967 model year and was designed as a competing model to the Ford Mustang. The Camaro shared its platform and major components with the Pontiac Firebird and Mercury Cougar. This third-generation Camaro was produced from 1981 (for the 1982 model year) to 1992, and were the first Camaros to offer modern fuel injection, 15- or 16-inch wheels, a standard OHV 4-cylinder engine, and hatchback bodies. The cars were nearly 500 pounds lighter than the second-generation model. This particular 1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is equipped with Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cassette Player, Spare Tire, T-Tops, Cruise Control, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, a Jack, Power Windows, Tilt-Wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. This 1984 El Camino is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The El Camino is not really a truck yet not really a car but something in between. It has had the hearts and imagination of many since its release in the late 50’s. They gained popularity in the mid-sixties but really came on strong in the 80’s. Most recently many have taken these trucks/cars and put stronger engines making them a lot more fun to drive. This 84 has done just that with a hopped up small block 350 under the hood. The motor sounds great and is a lot more than the original 305 ever thought about being. The 350 Engine and transmission were built and installed about 4000 miles ago, so there is plenty of life left in this drivetrain. Allowing the exhaust to flow is a new set of manifolds as well as a true dual exhaust setup from the manifolds back. With new brake lines, master cylinder, calipers, and wheel cylinders this thing will stop as good as it goes. With the cooling system new as well you should have no issues with overheating and be confident when cruising in traffic. The rubber molding around the around the windows was replaced as well with it still being in great condition. The interior of the car is original and appears to be in great shape with no major signs of wear. If you have been wanting to get a up and coming car but thought about a truck as well this could be the great compromise between the two. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this awesome 1984 Chevrolet Corvette. The 4th generation Corvette when introduced in 1984 was the Corvette that really revolutionized the sports car world. With its sleek looks and impressive performance for the times it’s easy to see why all the magazines were raving about the car. The electronic dash with its LCD read out and sweeping gauges was simply unheard of in 1984. The information center with its MPG readings and miles left were all just stuff that you did not see in a sports car up to this point. This black beauty is a prime example of one that has those components and they work which is kind of hard to find now and days. Used primarily as a show car, the black paint is in exceptional condition with those chrome wheels really setting it off. The charcoal interior is original and what you would expect out of a car with only 15,363 miles. The seats are plush and rather comfortable with the side bolsters keeping you in place when carving those back-country roads. Now let’s get to why you buy a Corvette because everyone knows it’s not for their interiors. Under the hood is a potent and capable numbers matching engine with Chevy’s high tech cross fire fuel injection. The first fuel injection available on a Corvette since 1965 and an absolute engineering marvel. This set up was more of a necessity for 2 reasons, EPA and hood clearance. Yet still the coolest thing about this car has got to be the exceptionally unique Doug Nash 4+3 transmission. Yes, this C4 has the super cool almost an oddity if you will transmission. Basically a 4 speed Trans with a 3 speed auto mated up to it making it an odd piece. Again, this was done out of necessity since MPG was just really beginning to get thrown into play this allowed the C4 to get good mileage on the highway. It is extremely hard to find a C4 Corvette in this type of condition as most them have been passed around, beat on or even worse wrecked this truly is a one of a kind find. Options on this 1984 Chevrolet Corvette include; AC, AM/FM Radio, Vinyl Interior, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Locks, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires. This 1984 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 283 CID V8Transmission: 2-Speed AutomaticMileage: 18,176 ( actual )
Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this gorgeous 1960 Chevrolet Impala! This is no ordinary Impala. This is a true survivor car. The 283 CID V8 engine is the original that was put in the car in the factory when it was being put together. Covering only 18,176 miles since it first drove off the showroom floor all those years ago. Amazingly, the paint on this car has the original undercoat on it! Even the original AM radio in the car works as it should. This is part of a two-model-year run for the second generation of the much-loved Impala. The 1959 Chevrolet Impala was redesigned. Sharing bodyshells with lower-end Buicks and Oldsmobiles as well as with Pontiac, part of a GM economy move, the Chevrolet's wheelbase was 1-1/2 inches longer. Using a new X-frame chassis, the roof line was three inches lower, bodies were two inches wider, and curb weight increased. Its tailfins protruded outward, rather than upward. The taillights were a large "teardrop" design at each side, and two slim-wide nonfunctional front air intake scoops were added just above the grille, The Impala became a separate series, adding a four-door hardtop and four-door sedan, to the two-door Sport Coupe and convertible. Sport Coupes featured a shortened roof line and wrap-over back window. Standard were front and rear armrests, an electric clock, dual sliding sun visors, and crank-operated front vent windows. A contoured hooded instrument panel held deep-set gauges. A six-way power seat was a new option, as was "Speed minder", for the driver to set a needle at a specific speed and a buzzer would sound if the pre-set was exceeded. The 1960 Impala models reinstated three round taillights on each side, and a white band running along the rear fenders. Anyone looking at the pictures and video of this beautiful machine can clearly see why it’s a great buy. The design is timeless. Don’t wait until it’s gone to inquire. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. Contact Gateway Classic Cars in Houston for more information. Financing and shipping options are available. Office hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5pm central time. The telephone number for our showroom is (832) 243-6220 or if you prefer, you can email us at email@example.com.
