Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is this stunning 1958 BMW Isetta – a car made famous by Steve Urkel. This fine example is a numbers-matching car with just 12,457 miles on the odometer! Defined by its small size, front-entry passenger compartment and narrow rear track, this 1958 BMW Isetta 300 will definitely turn heads wherever you take it. The styling is amplified by the bullet-shaped headlights and chrome bumperettes, and the whole looked is finished off with a matching suitcase to store on the rear luggage rack. Getting in the BMW Isetta is half the fun as you watch the front hatch swing out of the way with the steering wheel attached. The two-passenger interior is as basic as the car itself with controls for the heater and choke mounted in front of the gear selector, and the sliding side windows and retractable soft all operated manually. The BMW Isetta was produced from 1955 to 1962 with three variations, this being the Isetta 300. The 1958 BMW Isetta 300 is powered by a 298cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine rated at 13 hp, which is more than enough for a microcar weighing less than 800 pounds. This engine allowed the Isetta to return fuel economy of around 63 mpg and drive at speeds up to 53 mph. On such a basic car, there isn't much to the Isetta in terms of options, which are limited to just a manual sunroof, radial tires, hub caps, vinyl interior and a tilt steering wheel (well, kinda). HIGH VALUE VEHICLES

1948 Ford Super Deluxe

1948 Ford Super Deluxe

Engine: 393 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 20,000 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to announce this outstanding 1948 Ford Deluxe Convertible for sale in our Scottsdale Showroom. This high-end, complete rebuild has had some very respectable hands involved in its restoration, utilizing an array of top-notch components and it shows! This build began with a 1948 Ford Deluxe V-8 Convertible beautifully restored to its original condition with burgundy paint and a tan top. A photo album details the build step-by-step, highlighting each stage. Kugel Komponents provided their expertise by customizing the chassis to handle the torque of a supercharged engine and fabricating a state-of-the-art independent suspension with calibrated coil-over shocks front and rear. Mitech Racing Engines bored and stroked a Ford Windsor engine out to 393 Cubic inches. Topped by a BDS Supercharger and dual Holley carbs, this engine produced 520 HP and 468 ft./lbs. of torque when dyno’d. A Ford C4 transmission has been called upon to put this immense power to the pavement. The removable Carson top and windshield chop are the work of Gene Winfield. The fenders were sculpted to the body, the final preparations made and “Candy Brandywine” paint was applied by Hot Rods by Boyd Coddington. This was one of the very last cars to come out of his shop in La Habra, CA. Bills Auto Upholstery in Brea, CA provided the luxurious all-leather camel interior with heated power seats. Many modifications were performed, some of which include: Installation of a 3.90:1 Posi Independent Rear End, 20-gallon Rock Valley stainless steel fuel tank, rack and pinion power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes w/electric vacuum pump, power windows, A/C, custom-made “Dougs Headers”, Blaupunkt Satellite Stereo System, “Appleton” spotlights on drivers & Passenger sides and the list is almost endless! 1995 BMW 840CI

1995 BMW 840CI

Engine: 4.0L V8 F DOHC 32V
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 83,856 ( actual )

This top of the line and fully loaded 1995 BMW 840Ci is now available for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Saint Louis, and you won't find a better well-kept BMW with this mileage and easy-to-justify price anywhere. There are no noticeable scratches, dents, tears, or odors on the exterior or in the interior of BMW. There is some slight wear on the seats, but still in remarkable condition considering that it is going on being twenty-five years old. People have wrinkles at twenty-five, so don't complain about the seats of this ultimate driving machine having a few. Calm down. Anyway, what makes this 1995 BMW 840Ci Coupe particularly interesting is its V-8 engine with a five-speed automatic transmission, versus the 850i with a V-12 powerplant and four-speed automatic, proves nearly equal performance fights, and only slightly lower horsepower and torque. The 282 horsepower 32-valve 4.0-liter aluminum V8 in the 840 was an advance piece of equipment in 1994. It utilizes double overhead cams with four-valves per cylinder, direct ignition, computerized engine management, including knock control, and electronic fuel injection. It is designed for all-day cruising at high speed. The five-speed automatic transmission is electronically controlled and has three settings: Economy, Sport, and Winter, to provide the correct amount of power to the rear wheels under any driving circumstance. The twin dual exhaust has a throaty rumble. Its body styling is noticeable and unique. The low front and wide stance are reminiscent of the M1 racing cars of the 1970's. Subtly flared fenders, styled alloy wheels and 16-inch Pirelli low profile high performance tires suggest speed in an understated way. The cabin has large expanses of tinted glass allowing for excellent vision. The front end is highlighted by the familiar BMW logo and trademark grille. Up front there are no fewer than 10 lights, including powerful pop-up headlamps. To view this 1995 BMW 840Ci Coupe in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. 1988 BMW M6

1988 BMW M6

Engine: 3.5L I6 F DOHC
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual w/ OD
Mileage: 45,782 ( actual )

For sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is this classic 1988 BMW M6. It is powered by a 3.5L/256hp inline-six engine that is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. This is a beautiful example of a rare BMW M6. Values on M6’s are constantly increasing from year to year. Currently they are still affordable but who knows how long before they become a six-figure collectible car. Engine sizes gradually increased to 3.2-liters then 3.5-liters, but the 6-Series really hit a bullseye with the M635CSi, which appeared at Frankfurt in 1983. Apart from the 282-bhp M1 engine, it had a limited-slip differential and the “track link” suspension from the big 7-Series sedans, which was designed to reduce oversteer. ABS brakes arrived at the same time, along with a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed ZF automatic. Badged simply as the BMW M6, the 635CSi finally reach the U.S. in 1987, lavishly equipped with twin air-conditioners (and a beverage chiller in the rear), hand-stitched Napa leather interior with eight-way power front seats, and an eight-speaker sound system. Distinctive M6 details included M badges front and rear, a larger front air dam and rear spoiler, and matching color side mirrors. The cars were fitted with new ellipsoid headlights, which directed a more precise beam onto the road. The M6 could manage 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds, a quarter mile in 14.7 seconds and cruised easily at 140 mph. It retailed for $55,950. BMW electronically limited even its sportiest models to 155 mph in the U.S., but Rug Cunninham BMW ran a de-limited M6 in the 1989 La Carrera Pan American race in Mexico and reported a top speed of 176 mph. In all 5,859 M 635 CSi cars were built between 1983 and 1989, with 1,787 of those being the slightly detuned U.S. model BMW M6. The Original Wheels and Exhaust are available with this vehicle. To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1988 BMW M6, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
