The entire frame has been powder coated and features an air ride suspension in the rear, power brakes, pinion steering, and is so clean you could eat off it.

We are happy to offer at our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom this triple red 1932 Ford Roadster. The red Wescott body was completely stripped down and repainted in 2004. The underside of the rear quarter panels were Rhino lined to protect the body while driving down the road. Custom pin-stripping runs throughout the car, along the side, on the trunk lid, and on the dash to help make it stand out amongst the crowd. The red vinyl interior was also replaced in the mid 2000’s and shows very well, with minimal signs of wear. Capping off the red on red on red appearance is the red cloth top that is in very good condition. A Hagan steel hood covers the 302 CID V8 that powers this 32’ Ford down the road. The 302 V8 features a full roller block, E-303 cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads, aluminum valve covers, and a Holley carburetor. Headers flow to the true dual exhaust that dump out the side in front of the rear tires and provide a great sound. An automatic transmission with overdrive and a shift kit transfers the power to the Ford 9” that houses 3.55 gears. The Wescott body sits on a TCI boxed frame. A 2” dropped chrome axle and rack and pinion steering is up front while a 4-link suspension setup is out back. In the trunk you will find the Pioneer AM/FM radio with CD player, which you can control from the driver’s seat via remote control. The odometer reads 22,602, the actual mileage is unknown, and just 2,000 miles have been put on the car in the last 14 years. This car not only incorporates the iconic design of the late 20's and early 30's but also has a blast-from-the-past rumble seat that is perfect for the little ones. By the late 1920's the Model T was becoming less competitive in the market with other manufacturers offering more modern conveniences at reasonable prices. The folks at Ford fought to get old Henry to produce something that was good looking and reliable but also more sturdy and easier to drive and thus the Model A was born. This styling would later become one of the most iconic cars of the 1930's, and allowed families to travel longer distances with more comfort. In 1932, Ford brought out a working-class V-8 and forever blurred the lines between factory performance, transportation and hot rods. This lightweight Wescott Body is paired to a potent Flathead V8 sports roughly 100 miles on a rebuild. For that reason alone, the '32 Ford would have earned its place as a performance archetype. Throw in some of the best styling to leave Dearborn in the prewar era and you have the makings of possibly the most sought-after mass-produced interwar car. Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this beautiful and totally one of a kind, hand built 1932 Ford Roadster. Professionally appraised at over $120,000, this gorgeous build is jaw dropping from top to bottom, front to back. Powering this masterpiece is a 1 of 7 pre-production, 525hp, 392 CID V8 Hemi from Mopar Performance. Featuring forged pistons and rods, 278/285 hydraulic roller cam and CNC ported aluminum twin plug heads. It has EFI, 80mm throttle body, custom Detroit Muscle headers and a stainless Flowmaster exhaust/muffler system. Transferring this power to the rear wheels is a Chrysler 518 transmission built by Godfather Racing and a custom Detroit Muscle driveshaft. This is an all steel roadster from Hot Rods & Horsepower in MI (Dearborn Duce). You will notice the steel hood, ’32 Grille and stowaway convertible top. The bodywork and DuPont Hot Rod Black paint was completed by Shadowoods in MI and graphics done by Dennis Shephard. Gauges were done by SO-CAL Speed Shop in Pomona and Moon Equipment in Santa Fe Springs. Seats were done by Roadster Shop in IL and Willy’s Workshop completed the upholstery. It is finished in Pendleton Del Rio wool Indian blanket, python skin & camel wool highlights. The carpet is also wool. This was the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau “Flagship Promotional Vehicle” commissioned to showcase Detroit’s automotive heritage. Designed by Chris Baum, the D-Rod, was built by Rick Dyer at Detroit Muscle with input from Ford, Chrysler and GM Executives. Chrysler provided a pre-production 392 CID V8, 525hp Hemi crate engine that was first shown at SEMA. Chrysler had Arrow Racing Engines release one of the first hand-built development engines for the D-Rod build. The transmission is a 4-speed Chrysler 518 automatic. The build also used a vast ’32 Roadster aftermarket to create a high-performance vehicle that is truly a unique ’32 Ford Roadster. Dearborn Duce proved an all-steel ’32 body with a disappearing top assembly. The frame is a Lobeck’s Deuce frame equipped with a 9-inch ford rear end, a Magnum 4-inch dropped tube axle, bobbed rear rails and four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. The interior includes an Ididit steering column and steering wheel. The D-Rod was built in 2007 and not only showcases the Detroit Automotive Heritage, it is a build that brings together the best of the hot-rod industry. This hot rod was very carefully built to be as accurate as possible to a hot rod from back int he good ole days, 1957 specifically. Going with the 1957 hot rod theme, the car is powered by a period correct Corvette 283. The stout 283 is backed by a 1939 Ford 3 speed manual transmission and a 1940 Ford rear end housing 4.10 gears. The frame is an original 1932 as is the metal gas tank and radiator shell. The body is from Outlaw and features an original firewall appearance. Topping the 283 is an original 1947 Cadillac air cleaner. The exhaust has been Jet Coated in black from the manifolds all the way back to the exhaust tips. The build looks as if the car was sent to us from the past via a time machine. Painted in a high gloss black with the red frame exposed and matched by the red steel wheels with chrome beauty rings and white wall tires(radials). The exposed engine bay also adds to the vintage hot rod theme. Don't be confused with builds of today. This one is no frills and all thrills. No A/C or power steering, this is a hot rod! It is also a proven show winner. It took Street Rodder Top 10 at Goodguys and received the Magnum Axle/ Real Hot Rod award from Goodguys. For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is nicely built 1932 Ford highboy roadster. The 1932 Ford Hi-boy Roadster is one of the most iconic hot rods ever produced. With sleek lines and an overall simple design, they became a go to for hot rod restorers everywhere. Eventually though the original steel body Fords were hard to come by so manufacturers started to re-manufacture them out of fiberglass which became the way to go for anyone looking to build their own hot rod, so with it being a complete build up, there are almost no two alike. Built with reliability in mind as well of ease of customization, the engine the tried and true Chevrolet Small Block 350 CID V8 and a 700R4 4speed automatic transmission were utilized. The rear end gear ratio is a 3.50:1 in a Ford 9” casing with Richmond gears for a good mix of acceleration and cruising. The entire build was done with quality parts, from the Autometer gauges to the Wheel Vintiques Steelies wheels. Name brands are all over, Peat and Jakes front shocks, Lokar shifter, Sanderson Headers, The paint is a glass smooth slathering of Kirker Urethane Candy Apple Red with layers of clear. The interior has quite a few custom touches like the custom upholstery we under seat storage, custom wood steering wheel, there is even heater in case the weather gets a bit chilly. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an extremely interesting and well built 1933 Ford Sedan Delivery street rod. Finished in stunning red with wide white wall tires at first glance this may look like a standard '33, but look closer and you'll see nearly every part has been customized. The body is a all steel and was 1 of under 2,000 Sedan Deliverys made in '33. The paint is Ferrari Testarossa Red and has been beautifully applied. You'll notice the advertisement for "Mortland's Auto Body" on the side, and that's the shop that took care of the paint for this '33. The lettering is real gold leaf and may contain a small fortune right there on the side of the truck. The front windshield is functional and tilts out for nice ventilation. In addition, all glass is amber tinted safety glass. The rear mounted exterior trunk is a nice classic touch, but if it is not your style, the trunk and bracket can be easily removed. The chrome wire wheels are a great look especially with the new set of Coker Classic wide white wall tires. The beating heart of this '33 is a 1970 LT-1 350 CID V8 which is rated at 370 BHP. The engine was overhauled in 2006 and since has traveled just over 23,000 miles. Of course the power plant is dressed up with all the goodies: Endurashine carburetor, custom valve covers, chrome lines and fittings, and custom air cleaner. Backing the 350 is a Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission which runs to an 8" Ford rear end with 2.73 final drive ratio. This Ford was set up to drive across the country and has done just that a few times. Inside you'll be nice and comfortable sitting on front leather bucket seats. Crank up the stereo and the Vintage Air A/C unit and arrive in style and comfort. The dash is well laid out with everything you'll need including gauges by Classic Instruments, custom machined dash panels, and a very nifty steering wheel. Mounted to a tilt column, the Flaming River billet steering wheel can be removed without any tools as a simple yet effective theft deterrent. The rear section of the truck has been nicely upholstered with storage in the floor which includes a hidden spare wheel. This street rod is sure to stand out among the simpler builds and is already a multi-trophy winner. The best part is how well documented the vehicle has been since being restored. Engine specs, suspension details, brake details, even right down to gaskets and hoses used have all been recorded so the new owner can keep this rod maintained without all the guess work. Built with simplicity in mind, this 1950 Ford F-1 is equipped with only the essentials but did not have any expense spared during the process. The heart and soul of this pick up is a completely rebuilt 1950 Ford flathead V8 bored .60 over and roughly 1,500 miles since completion. The lope at idle provided by the Comp Cams Thumpr (#41-600-7) is the only music you will need on your ride and is very distinguishable sound. Also equipped is Offenhauser pistons, Mahle rings, Isky valve spring, and Ford rods, crank and block. Hooked up behind the flathead is a 3-speed manual transmission rebuilt at the same time as the engine and shifts smoothly between gears. The cab of the truck is still the 1950 Ford F-1 but has been heavily modified to give it the much sleeker look it has now. 6” of the top were sliced out to bring the profile lower and was moved 18” further back on the frame allowing it to run without fenders. The hood was custom built for this truck and transitions smoothly into the 1943 International fire truck grill. The bed was also built specially for this truck and matches the rest of the build very well. Slide inside the truck and you will wonder if it is even functional with how simplistic it is. The metal dash is smooth with only three gauges; Water temp left side, Oil pressure, Water temp right side. The custom bench seat sits low in the cab giving plenty of head room for all and a very comfortable driving position. All of the electronic connections have been mounted in a box behind the seat keeping the cab uncluttered and everything easily accessible. One cruise in this truck and you will be hooked! The ride is smooth and comfortable, the exhaust note will give you chills and surprisingly is not overbearingly loud and will turn heads everywhere it goes. The green body is accented with dark green fenders, that feature a bit of metallic flake throughout, and ghost flames on the front fenders stretching back. The steel wheels have been painted dark green and have chrome moon dish hub caps, completing the classic street rod look. On the inside you will find the door panels and rear seat are finished in dark green and tan vinyl upholstery. The front seat was swapped out at some point for late model gray cloth seats. A tilt steering wheel helps the easy in and easy out factor of this street rod, as it seems we are larger humans today, compared to 1931. Powering this 31’ Ford is a 350 CID Crate V8 engine with aluminum valve covers and an Edelbrock intake, carburetor, and air cleaner. A TH-350 automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter transfers the power to the Ford 9” rear end that houses 3.00 gears. The odometer reads 1,100, which is believed to represent the mileage put on the car since the build was complete.
