The Atlanta Show room is offering this 1973 Avanti for sale. This Avanti for sale is the ultimate trivia question? What car has a small block Chevy seats only two and has a fiberglass body? Everyone will answer Corvette but you and I know that the Avanti meets all those same points. Light weight strong engine and styling that is unlike anything else. The styling of this car is what separates it from the crowd and this car owes its lines to three designers Raymond Loewy Robert Andrews and Tom Kellogg. As the story goes these three men spent less than a month with an idea pencil paper and clay sequestered themselves in a home in Palm Springs and designed this car. Their idea not one flat panel everything had to have compound curves and very little chrome. They felt that chrome was basically over after the lavish use of it in the fifties. This car is the end result, and we think it is incredible. It is one of those few cars that grabs you by the eye balls and makes you look at it makes you want it. This 1973 Avanti for sale is a good example, the body is in great shape engine pumps out more than enough power transmission shifts tight and right. It handles well and the interior looks almost new. So, if you ever wanted a car that made even some car people ask, what kind of car is that? Then this is your next car and you can look at them and say, It is an Avanti which that means forward in Italian. It is also nice that it is a blast to drive remember small block Chevrolet with a light weight fiberglass body! It has been a winning combination for decades!
