For sale in our Chicago showroom is one hot 1946 Ford Coupe. The vision behind this car is “What would happen if Mom and Dad gave Junior the family car and left for the weekend?” This blue-oval beauty is a perfect blend of style and performance. Powered by a Summit Racing crate Chevrolet 350 cubic inch V8 backed to a turbo-350 transmission, then routed out back to a Ford 9” packing 3.00:1 gears, this is a peppy little car that is very drivable on the highway. The suspension is lowered quite a bit from factory ride height, but it still smoother than most Cadillacs, courtesy of Heidts Suspension and Street Rod Engineering to name a few.
The slick black paint is sure to grab your attention, and the red pin striping is sure to keep it. Swing yourself inside and be blown away by the synthetic material that is softer than leather, easier to maintain, and stronger. An XM radio is hidden to keep the dash lines clean and original, and an A/C system has been retrofitted to keep you as cool as this car looks. A full set of VDO gauges will help you keep tabs on the health of the engine.
Well, Mom and Pop are coming back on Monday, are you gonna be the one to cruise this baby all weekend? Options include: Air-Conditioning, AM/FM/XM, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Synthetic Leather Interior, and Radial Tires.
