1973 Chevrolet Camaro

1973 Chevrolet Camaro

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 350 Turbo
Mileage: 56,009 ( undocumented )

This awesome 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The second generation of GM’s Pony car was released in the spring of 1970 as a 70 Model. They were an instant hit with the public due to their great fastback styling and the endless list of options. They were not highly sought-after cars in the collector car market until recently. Now they have almost a cult like following with the 70-73 models being the most desirable. This example has had quite a bit of work done in order to bring it to its current condition. Receipts show that the build began back in late 2007 with the majority of the work being completed in the next 2 years. We will start with the body of this beauty which appears to have had both front fenders replaced. With the fitment of the doors and hood being well with in 73 standards the car was then painted. The dark blue is very similar to the iconic Admiral blue which shows off the lines of the Camaro nicely. The white racing stripes going over the hood and trunk lid add to the stock look and compliment the Blue nicely. Sealed in with a couple coats of clear the paint not only looks great but has that added layer of protection. The interior of the car has been taken back to its former glory with the black vinyl buckets upfront being classic 70’s Camaro. The B&M Ratchet style shifter is a nice touch, but I prefer just simply dropping it down in D but is nice to have the option. Under the hood is a very healthy small block 350 giving the car plenty of power. Consisting of your typical go-fast parts such as the huge 4-barrel Edelbrock Carb and matching intake this thing is classic muscle at its best. The TH350 transmission shifts out nicely with a mash of the gas second gear comes rather quickly with a firm shift. The 10-bolt rear end handles the power getting pout down to the pavement with out any worries. The 4-wheel disc brakes get this second-generation Camaro slowed down in a hurry. If you have been looking for a split bumper that is fun to drive, gets everyone’s attention, and don’t cost an arm and a leg this Blue beauty is the one. Options on this 1973 Chevrolet Camaro include; AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. There are a ton of receipts which go with this car and you can tell from the pictures the interior is in great shape. The daytona base coat clear coat is fresh along with the all new interior. The brake system, tires, and exhaust system is new as well. The fuel system, trailing arms, complete front and rear suspension, clutch, convertible top, sound system, and re-chromed bumpers, new body mounts and bushing are all new for the refresh. The Corvette's specialty is clearly stated on its invitation. It's a powerful car, but definitely not a drag racer. The long first gear of its close-ratio transmission makes starting from rest a very demanding job. Instead, the car feels as if it were developed on a road course. No other production sports car is so smooth and manageable at its limits and none will cover for the driver's mistakes as quickly and easily as will the Corvette. It understeers but only a little considering the power it has on tap. And the on-and-off power and the straight-to-curve transitions are gradual and smooth. Consequently, it is a very quick car over the road, faster than any other at the same price. It's comfortable. Everybody fits into the cockpit except for the very tall. The controls are a pleasure to use. But more than anything else, the Corvette's composure in high-speed touring situations must be credited to the design. Options include: AM/FM radio, seat belts, leather interior, rally wheels, and radial tires. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833. 1973 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: TH350
Mileage: 63,680 ( undocumented )

This awesome 1973 Chevrolet Stingray Corvette is located in our Louisville showroom. Many will consider '70s the beginning of the end for horsepower wars. With unleaded gas becoming the standard and smog regulation's tightening, there were an increasing number of hurdles for the big three to jump through. Chevy had their engineers working on how they were going to meet the demands of Uncle Sam and still get the muscle that Corvette was known for. The 350 SBC under the hood is not the original engine but runs just as good if not better than a 73. Backed up by a TH350 Transmission that transfers the power to the rear wheels. Take out the T-tops out and you will be ready to cruise on that next spring day. The T-tops can be easily re-installed with ease, just in case the sunshine doesn’t last as long as it should. The interior is in very good shape and compliments the red exterior very well. The tilt telescoping wheel gives you a ton of options and allows taller as well as shorter people to enjoy the ride of this classic. If you are looking for great addition to the collection or something to have a blast driving down those back country road look no further. 1973 Chevrolet Camaro LSX

1973 Chevrolet Camaro LSX

Engine: 6.0L Fuel Injected LS2 V8
Transmission: Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed Manual
Mileage: 1,260 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom is this knockout restomod 1973 Chevrolet Camaro. A little over 3 years ago, this car was pulled from a barn and became the subject of a full frame off restoration and modification, with a major emphasis on the modification. The most obvious modifications are the custom wide body kit that allows this 2nd Gen Camaro to tuck 335 cross section tires out back, and 315s up front wrapped around custom E/T wheels. Of course, big sticky tires are only as good as the suspension holding everything else in place. That is why there is Detroit Speed suspension in the front and back to hold everything else in place. To handle bringing things to a quick halt, we have a full Willwood brake system, including 6 piston front and 4 piston rear brake calipers. You are going to need those brakes too, as this car’s real party trick lies under the carbon fiber hood. There you will find a fire spitting 6.0L LS motor that has been stroked with new rods and pistons, dart heads, and dyno tuned to make 427hp and 427 lb-ft. of torque. Those massive tires are starting to make some more sense. Backing up that fuel injected beast is a Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed manual, spinning 390 Truetrac gears in a Ford 9” rear end. Inside, you could call this car a mullet, as it is all business in the front, with the party coming from two 10” kicker subwoofers in a custom enclosure that has replaced the rear seat. Upfront is all business, with Cipher race bucket seats and 4 point harnesses, as well as a half cage painted to match. Other great little touches include a carbon fiber spoiler and trunk lid, kindigit door handles, A/C, power steering, and keyless ignition. Get yourself in this Camaro and go! 1974 Chevrolet C10

1974 Chevrolet C10

Engine: 502 CID V8
Transmission: 700R4
Mileage: 33,603 ( actual )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1974 Chevrolet C10. This C10 for sale has been in one family since new. It has been used, loved and well taken care of. When it came time to rebuild it, the son of the original owner spared no expensive. Removing the original small block Chevy that I am sure it came equipped from the factory with and replacing it with something a little bigger, A 502 cubic inch Chevy Big block crate engine. Ok, a little perspective, 502 cubic inches divided by 8 (Cylinders) = 62.75 Cubic inches per cylinder. 62.75 Cubic inches = 1.028 Cubic centimeters or a little over a liter. Let that sink in, a liter, per cylinder, think this beast might have some torque? Backing this power plant is a 700 R4 4 speed automatic transmission and a Dana 60 rear axle that houses 3.73 gears and a posi traction carrier. To say this set up is almost bullet proof is a bit of an understatement. With just over 700 miles since this powertrain was assembled it is just barely broken in. Freshly covered in Honda R-513 red this sharp ’74 C 10 for sale has everything going for it. Now if you were wondering,” What kind of shape was the truck in before the restoration?” Just take a look at the interior photos, I am told that is the original interior! Options for this 1974 Chevrolet truck for sale include: Air conditioning, 4-wheel power disc brakes, Power brakes, Tilt steering column, Seat belts, Vinyl interior, Posi traction, Aluminum alloy rims. 1974 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne

1974 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 57,370 ( actual )

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a Sky Blue over White 1974 Chevrolet Cheyenne C10. The paint has been resprayed and the carpets have been replaced, everything else on the truck is believed to be original to the truck from the day it rolled off the assembly line. The Sky Blue and White exterior paint was professionally applied, we do not know exactly when, but it does look fantastic, and shines beautifully. The blue cloth bench seat has little to no wear, it has been very well kept over the years. The wood grain trim on the door panels and dash also looks almost new and accents the theme very well. A white vinyl bed cover has been installed and provides a great finishing touch to the sky blue and white color combination. This Cheyenne 10 features a small tool box at the bottom of the truck bed where you keep your valuables under lock and key. The odometer reads 57,370, which is believed to be the original mileage on the truck. Options for this 1974 Chevrolet C10 include: AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Air Conditioning (inoperable), Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Tilt Wheel, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires, Crager Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Chevrolet's third generation C/K Series ran from 1973 to 1987 and sported an all new design. Officially known as the "Rounded-Line" generation, the third generation looked like nothing else on the road at the time of its debut. The rounded lines included rounded cab roof, sloped rounded doors, rounded windshield corners, rounded front fenders, and rounded bed corners which made possible the rounded taillights. The rounded design was incorporated in an effort to improve aerodynamics and to improve fuel efficiency. Also known as the "Square Body" design, oddly enough, although not an official nickname since it did not originate from General Motors. This 74’ C10 would make for a great shop truck for a local business, or a nice cruiser for a collector who has always wanted a 3rd generation Chevrolet pickup. 1974 Chevrolet Corvette

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: TH350
Mileage: 51,435 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this awesome 1974 Chevrolet Corvette. The 74 Corvette was the first year to see no chrome on either end. The Endura style, body matching ones, took place of the now obsolete chrome ones. Some will argue that these mid model C3’s is some of the best to be made and with the pricing on them affordable they make a terrific way to get into a classic Vette. This Red beauty is a 3-owner car with the original owner letting the second owner take it to prom when he was a teenager. The car came up for sale a brief time later so the teen, who was now a man, snatched it up. He would own the car until March 2017 when the current owner took possession. Only driven a little over 51000 miles this Vette is an extremely original and in excellent condition. The door panels were replaced and cleaned up the interior quite nicely. The seats are in unbelievable shape given the fact they over 400 years old. Pop the hood and the original, maintained engine sits perfectly in place. The car even has the original manifolds making this C3 a notable example of what these cars are. The original Th400 is backing the original small block shifting it out nicely through all 3 gears. The original rear end is still in place with the original set of gears allowing for highway cruising. With the T-Tops off and the open road ahead this C3 is guaranteed to put a smile on anyone’s face. Options on this 1974 Chevrolet Corvette include; AC, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, Tilt Wheel, Power Windows, Hub Caps and Radial Tires.
