Engine: LS1
Transmission: 4 Speed Auto
Mileage: 404 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Atlanta showroom is one spectacular 1932 Boydster II roadster featuring a top of the line Boyd Coddington design. This hot '32 Ford began life in the famous shop of Boyd Coddington when the previous owner purchased it as a rolling chassis equipped with the fiberglass Boydster 2 body. It was then shot in a brilliant silver, cobalt blue and then had vibrant green flames and pin striping applied to the car just in time to showcase at the 2010 SEMA show. Striking an excellent balance of old and new, this well executed Ford mixes the unique appeal of pre-war design with the monochromatic style of modern hot rod building. At the front of the car, bright headlights flank a slick billet grille that's capped by a body-matched frame. The massive silver fenders that cover the front tires are the main separation from the standard Boydster bodies. On the back of this 32 Ford a smooth trunk lid rides above a body width flush fitting LED tail lights and large single exhaust tip. Under the hood of this 32 Ford roadster you'll find a fresh LS-1 small block V8 crate engine from Street and Performance that's been designed for both performance and reliability. After tuning the small block V-8 crate motor she creates an estimated 400hp. At the front of that smooth engine, a reusable filter element shoots air into a multi-port fuel injection system through a reliable GM throttle body. Aesthetically, the engine continues the silver and green theme as the fuel rail covers feature the vibrant green flames. In front of the engine an aluminum radiator is responsible for cooling the powerful small block with the help of an electric puller fan. Underneath this incredible street rod is simply breathtaking. Put it on a lift and you'll find a complete Coddington chassis that's been fully boxed and decked in silver. Behind the car's sweet Chevy engine, a pushbutton 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission sends power to a Boyd's Custom Jaguar style rear-end with 3.73 gears. Holding that stellar drivetrain off the ground is an impressive custom suspension which features 2024 billet aluminum spindles and chrome coil-over shocks. Turns are a cinch thanks to modern rack and pinion steering system that provides a tight radius and great wheel feel and stops come courtesy of the four-wheel disc brake system. Exhaust is polished stainless pipes which rumble through Magnaflow mufflers and funnel into a single exhaust tip. Finally, this 32 roadster sits on a nice set of 15" and 17" Boyd Coddington wheels which are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle tires. Simply put, not a detail was missed on the bottom of this fully sorted roadster, from the chrome driveshaft to the braided fuel and oil lines; everything serves a purpose and looks fantastic doing so. Inside this awesome 32 Ford you'll find a fully custom leather interior that was designed and installed by Bob Lyons of Brookville. There's modern, silver contoured seats which are firm, provide good support and look fantastic. At the sides of those seats, sculpted silver door panels feature large speakers that are as functional as they are stylish. In front of those seats, a body-matched dash continues the green flames seen throughout the rest of the car and it's here you'll see a small Classic Instruments instrument panel branded with the letters "Boyds". In between the two silver bucket seats, a classy console runs the length of the interior and seamlessly flows up the back scats. Centered in the console is the controls for the push button automatic transmission, and flip CD player. In front of the driver, a three-spoke steering wheel spins a color-keyed rim around a polished tilt steering column simply making this a one of a kind top end build!! Options on this one of a kind 32 Ford Roadster were: power steering, power brakes, leather, cd/radio, custom wheels, radial tires, and a kill switch. 1932 Ford Deluxe

Engine: 350ci
Transmission: 4 Speed Auto
Mileage: 3,082 ( undocumented )

The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1932 Ford Deluxe Roadster. They’ve been building cars for 71 years since Henry Ford introduced the body style that followed the Model T’s 19-year run and the Model A’s 4-year stretch. It was in production for barely a year, and yet to this day, no other car has been as popular among hot rodders as it has. It is the car that appears more than any other in hot rod enthusiast magazines. It is the car that has been treated to literally every conceivable form of performance and appearance modification. It is the car that appeared on the very first cover of ROD & CUSTOM. It is the car practically everybody immediately thinks of when they hear the term “hot rod.” I am talking about the ’32 Ford, known to you and me simply as the Deuce. Of course, we’re most interested in the effect the Deuce has had in the 71 years since it first showed up, which has been primarily in the hot rodding hobby. It wasn’t just the ’32’s good-looking lines or the fact that the V-8 was touted as a performance choice from its earliest day; guys found out fast that the simple styling of the Deuce made it easy to turn into an eye-catching rod. The mere act of pulling the fenders off put you well down the road toward having a hot rod. The solid frame, built to take a V-8, was the perfect platform for virtually any engine. The Deuce design, like few other automobiles, has never gone out of style. Hot rodding trends change almost constantly, but the Deuce has been subject to all of them. Options include: Custom wheels, seat belts, leather interior, radial tires, white wall tires. 1939 Chevrolet Deluxe

1939 Chevrolet Deluxe

Engine: 350ci
Transmission: 3 Speed Auto
Mileage: 14,414 ( undocumented )

We offer this 1939 Chevrolet Deluxe Sedan. Well you can throw your ideas of staying out of sight right out the window if you take this 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe 2-door sedan home with you. Bright orange paint, flames, a rumbling stroker motor, and all the other stuff that makes hot rods awesome is standard equipment. If you like the look, you're going to love the ride. Over $25,000 was spent on the paint and interior on this car and it shows. The '39 Chevys were always attractive cars, and with a few minor tweaks, this one takes on a slick hot-rod look that's impeccably smooth. The all-steel body did not require major surgery to get to its current astounding condition, just a lot of time invested in the details. Plus block sanding... lots and lots of block sanding. The bright orange paint has a bunch of pearl in it, so there's a glow to it when the light hits it just right, and the incredible flames are so intricate and detailed that they probably took two weeks to paint all by themselves. You'll note that much of the trim was shaved, and the flames lick around the side trim which is still in place, just painted to match the body. The grille appears stock but is actually a fabricated piece that simulates the classic 1939 Chevy V-shaped grille, giving it an updated, smooth look. The windshield was Vee'd, the running boards painted body color and treated to their own flame job, and discreet side mirrors were fitted to the doors. Other smooth tricks include a flush-mounted fuel-filler door and the low-mounted taillights where the bumper used to life. The stunning interior is well beyond your usual hot rod fare, incorporating low-back buckets and more flames to great effect. The tan leatherette upholstery feels upscale and supple, and the modern buckets are all-day comfortable. They brought the orange paint inside, but in small doses so it feels cohesive without being overwhelming, and the custom-made dashboard is absolutely beautiful with its cream-colored gauges. A/C was artfully incorporated into the dash and a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo uses speakers in the custom center console and rear deck to deliver sound. A full-width back seat means this is a family-friendly rod and with a sizeable trunk in back, feel free to hit the road in style. Cruising is effortless, but this Chevy is also downright fast thanks to a 383 cubic inch small block which has been dressed in lots of chrome. The coordination with the bodywork is evident and they really went the extra mile to make it look right, hood up or hood down. Equipment like a 4-barrel carburetor and block-hugger headers help the fast-revving stroker motor build horsepower and with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, it's plenty punchy around town. The chassis was reinforced and upgraded with a Mustang II front suspension with rack-and-pinion steering, while out back there's a Ford 9-inch on leaf springs with a beefy sway bar. Disc brakes at all four corners are a sensible upgrade and with new ball joints and shocks in 2011, it rides and drives superbly. 15-inch American Racing wheels polished up nicely and wear 195/60/15 front and fat 225/70/15 rear performance radials. Well-built and not too radical to drive across the country, this very cool '39 Chevy makes a compelling argument for full-sized rods. Options include: Radial tires, tilt wheel, seat belts, alarm system, Aluminum wheels, vinyl interior. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1940 Buick Special Coupe

1940 Buick Special Coupe

Engine: 248 ci
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 46,785 ( undocumented )

Our Atlanta Showroom is proud have this 1940 Buick Special Coupe for sale. The Buick Straight-eight engine (Fireball 8) was produced from 1931 to 1953 and sold in Buick automobiles, replacing the Buick Straight-6 engine across the board in all models in 1931. Like many American automobile makers, Buick adopted the straight-8 engine in 1931 as a more powerful alternative to the previous engines. However, unlike most other car makers at the time, Buick had been using a valve-in-head/OHV overhead valve design or I-head since its inception and continued this practice in their inline-8 designs. When introduced in 1940 the new Series 50 Super featured the cutting-edge "torpedo" C-body. When combined with a column mounted shift lever the cars offered true six passenger comfort, changes that had clearly been influenced by the Cadillac Sixty Special. The basic formula for the 1940 to 1952 Super was established by mating the Roadmaster's longer behind the engine cowl body to the Series 40 Special's smaller straight-eight engine and consequently shorter engine compartment. This led to an economical combination of voluminous passenger room and relatively good fuel economy. This 2 door model had a frame off restoration about 10 years ago. The car was completely disassembled stripped and repainted. The owner laid down 12k to paint this time capsule and put in all new rubber, glass, chrome wheels, new interior with high quality leather, and all new brakes. There was over $50,000 invested in the restoration. The Buick starts, runs, drives, and stops like it should. The red interior and red exterior shows how good this MG has been cared for over the years. It is un-restored and in original condition with matching numbers and only 31921 miles. That is about as good as you may find in an example of an original MG TC. Twin SU- semi-down draught carburetors, 1250cc 4 cylinders and 54.4hp at 5200rmp puts you right in the middle of what it means to drive. It has always been garage kept in its 67 years of life with just a few minor paint imperfections which are expected because of it age. She is a real head turner. The TC Midget was the first postwar MG launched in 1945. It was quite similar to the pre-war TB, sharing the same 1,250 cc pushrod-OHV engine with a slightly higher compression ratio of 7.4:1 giving 54.5 bhp at 5200 rpm. The MG TC was exported to the United States, even though only ever built in right-hand drive. The export version had slightly smaller US specification sealed-beam headlights and larger twin rear lights, as well as turn signals and chrome-plated front and rear bumpers. The body was approximately 4 inches wider than the TB and measured at the rear of the doors to give more cockpit space. The tachometer was directly in front of the driver, while the speedometer was on the other side of the dash in front of the passenger. Options include: Bias ply tires, leather interior, wire wheels, and a convertible manual top.
