The restoration on the vehicle was completed in November of 2016 and tributes a classical 1923 T-Bucket. This bucket is in great running condition and ready for a new owner to take to a show or run down the roads. It has been garage kept and well cared for by it’s previous owners. Powering this beauty is a 350 motor with Weiand 144 Pro- Street Supercharger. The power house is paired to a TH350 automatic transmission. Keep the power under control is a set of new Tires the are mated to new 20″ American Racing Aluminum rims. Walking around the car you will find Custom airbrush work, body and frame, have been cleared. The true flame paint scheme is very sleek and shows very well. The car was previously used strictly as a show car and for parades. It has entered numerous car shows, placing in each and repeatedly taking home first place. Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is the awesome 1923 Ford T-Bucket Roadster. The T-bucket is a classical piece of American muscle that many have grown to love. This T-Bucket is powered by an exciting 327 CID V8 that came from a ’66 Chevy. This strong running engine is paired to a 350 Turbo transmission with a B&M shift kit that makes for a great cruiser. As the power is being transmitted through to the rear wheels it is linked up to a ’68 Nova rear end with a set of 3.08 gears. This T-bucket is said to have only 3 owners and was built back in the mid 80’s being well taken care of through the years. The rear shocks, and headers were recently replaced to keep this car riding and sounding great. The car comes with plenty of stopping power with the Willwood disk brakes as well. The exterior is a beautiful Navajo white that really sets it apart from the others. The engine has been coated to match the body. The car also features some custom pin striping and wood trim to make it worthy of a local car show. Moving to the interior you will find it is very classical in appearance with a green and brown combo. Now in our Houston Showroom is this stunning and show-winning 1923 Ford Roadster. This is a show car that is definitely capable of being raced. Not only would you likely win a few races, you would look cool doing it as well. The lettering on the car is made of vinyl and if you would like to rebrand it you can always change it. Powering this beastly machine is a massive 468 CID V8 which is paired to a TH-400 transmission. This strong motor is putting out approximately 800 horsepower on racing fuel of course. No need to look very hard to see the complimentary 6-71 supercharger sitting on top of this engine to add some additional power to the already powerful engine. Some additional components on the car include SRP Forged Blower Pistons, 8-1 Compression, Forged Steel Crankshaft, Milodon 8qt. The Burgundy Pearl paint with real gold leaf flames makes this car stand out of the crowd and makes it show worthy. The Burgundy Pearl paint was done by Paint House Texas and is in good condition. The gold leaf flames and pin striping were done by Dave Whittle of California designs, and it truly sets the car apart. Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this extremely cool 1925 Ford Model T. Between the extensive powertrain work and original sheet metal, this car is a clean example of a Model T. Under the hood of this American icon is a 2.9-liter inline four cylinder engine that was good for roughly 20 horsepower when new. The engine was rebuilt roughly 75 miles ago and upgraded with a 12V distributor and battery to improve reliability and drivability. Although the car has been upgraded, the original coil box remains in the car. Sending what little power this car has to the rear wheels is a two speed manual transmission with a very unique shifting sequence. The transmission was also rebuilt with the engine. Moving inward, the interior of this car is barren with no modern amenities or luxuries. When this car was produced, it was meant to be a cheap means of transportation for the masses with little to no focus on comfort or styling. Although there are really no features to speak of, the condition of the interior on this T is very good. The exterior of this T is finsished in black to stay true to the only original color option. The paint is in good condition and highlights the cars curves and style. Laying beneath the paint is the original sheet metal from when the car was new almost 100 years ago. Overall the condition of this T is very nice and this would make an excellent weekend toy or parade car! This partially restored, sharp looking 1931 Ford Model A Sedan is for sale in our Houston Showroom. Enjoy getting looks at shows and being in parades with this beautiful Model A. To some at the time, it likely seemed impossible for Henry Ford to follow up the commercial success of the Model T. However, he would immediately hit another home run with the Model A. But, while the Model T was produced for the explicit purpose of making the motorcar accessible to everyone, the Model A would be Ford's attempt at combining mass production with exclusivity. The Model A would be an absolute hit with the public. The marriage of aesthetics and mass production has seemed to work as one million examples would be built by February of 1929. By July, just a few months later, production would top two million. Ultimately, by the time the Model A became superseded by the Model B and production ended in early 1932, nearly five million Model As would roll off the Ford assembly lines. This nice looking Ford is powered by a 201 CiD inline 4 cylinder engine backed by a 3 speed manual transmission. This all-steel original car has one very handy "modernization": its electrical system has been converted from the original 6-volt system to a modern 12-volt system, making it much easier to enjoy tooling around in. The exterior on this all-metal Ford Model A is a nice matte black with buckskin brown accents and soft top. The Model A rolls on a set of original steel wire wheels painted in a brown color (that matches its buckskin brown top and interior) and are wrapped by black wall bias ply tires. The seating surfaces are covered by a freshly-installed Buckskin Brown vinyl tan. The interior has been fully restored back to the original look. The car has its original engine & trans in the car that is came with in 1931. The owner also put a new carburetor & a new alternator. Everything on the car works! This car has no rust on it and is a true survivor car that is all metal with no body filler. Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this beautiful and totally one of a kind, hand built 1932 Ford Roadster. Professionally appraised at over $120,000, this gorgeous build is jaw dropping from top to bottom, front to back. Powering this masterpiece is a 1 of 7 pre-production, 525hp, 392 CID V8 Hemi from Mopar Performance. Featuring forged pistons and rods, 278/285 hydraulic roller cam and CNC ported aluminum twin plug heads. It has EFI, 80mm throttle body, custom Detroit Muscle headers and a stainless Flowmaster exhaust/muffler system. Transferring this power to the rear wheels is a Chrysler 518 transmission built by Godfather Racing and a custom Detroit Muscle driveshaft. This is an all steel roadster from Hot Rods & Horsepower in MI (Dearborn Duce). You will notice the steel hood, ’32 Grille and stowaway convertible top. The bodywork and DuPont Hot Rod Black paint was completed by Shadowoods in MI and graphics done by Dennis Shephard. Gauges were done by SO-CAL Speed Shop in Pomona and Moon Equipment in Santa Fe Springs. Seats were done by Roadster Shop in IL and Willy’s Workshop completed the upholstery. It is finished in Pendleton Del Rio wool Indian blanket, python skin & camel wool highlights. The carpet is also wool. This was the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau “Flagship Promotional Vehicle” commissioned to showcase Detroit’s automotive heritage. Designed by Chris Baum, the D-Rod, was built by Rick Dyer at Detroit Muscle with input from Ford, Chrysler and GM Executives. Chrysler provided a pre-production 392 CID V8, 525hp Hemi crate engine that was first shown at SEMA. Chrysler had Arrow Racing Engines release one of the first hand-built development engines for the D-Rod build. The transmission is a 4-speed Chrysler 518 automatic. The build also used a vast ’32 Roadster aftermarket to create a high-performance vehicle that is truly a unique ’32 Ford Roadster. Dearborn Duce proved an all-steel ’32 body with a disappearing top assembly. The frame is a Lobeck’s Deuce frame equipped with a 9-inch ford rear end, a Magnum 4-inch dropped tube axle, bobbed rear rails and four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. The interior includes an Ididit steering column and steering wheel. The D-Rod was built in 2007 and not only showcases the Detroit Automotive Heritage, it is a build that brings together the best of the hot-rod industry. Up for sale now in our Houston Showroom is this very clean 1932 Ford Roadster, and it’s itching for a new home. The ’32 Ford is also known as the “Deuce Coupe” and is a highly sought out hot rod that provided plenty of “get up and go” for almost any car guy, or gal. This Deuce Coupe features a 350 CID “Highboy V8 Crate” engine which only has 755 miles on it since the rebuild, it is accompanied by a 700R4 automatic transmission. It also has a solid Ford 9” rear end to make for a nice little package. The Walker steel radiator and electric fan keeps it running cool. The front disk brakes with drum brakes in the rear provide plenty of stopping power for this roadster. If you notice, the car also has independent front suspension to provide a smooth ride along with rack and pinion steering. Aluminum Budnik Ion wheels have been placed on this beauty to give it that nice curb appeal, and feature some 15X7 P195/60/R15 87T Toyo Spectrum tires on the front with 15X8 P225/70/R15 100T Mastercraft Avenger GT tires on the rear. Did I mention how nice this roadster sounds with the stainless-steel exhaust with chrome tips. The “Hot red” Dupont paint on this roadster is in great condition. From the Wescott fiberglass body to the small areas like the door jamb, and even nuts and bolts throughout the car, this paint shows very well. The chrome trimming around the grill, chromed headlights, and even on the handles along-side the hood and the front and rear cross members is in great condition with little to no pitting. The body lines are straight and truly makes this car one that is worth seeing in person. The steel 4-piece louvered hood is also in great shape and opens and closes easily. The trunk is easily opened as well with an electric opener. The interior of the car is a nicely done beige Ultra Leather interior. The interior has a nice GM chrome tilt steering wheel, new carpet, and a Banjo steering wheel with a leather grip. The dash features a very sleek looking Dolphin gauges. As you’re driving down the road on a dark night you will notice the Tri-Bar headlights and directional custom rear LED tail lights that have been built into the body provide plenty of visibility on the streets. This mean Wild Purple machine is powered by a stout 468 CID V8 big block Chevy with a 6-71 Weiand Supercharger and dual 750 Holley carbs to top it all off. Fast, is an understatement. It features Zoomie headers, MSD ignition, a built Turbo 350 with a 3500 stall, 4:11 gears and a B&M Pro Stick shifter. Up front it has aluminum I-beam front axle with disc brakes and Mickey Thompson Sportman 26x7.5x15 tires wrapped around Weld Racing wheels. Out back you will see the narrowed Ford 9” posi quick change rear end with coil overs, drum brakes and 32x17.5x15 Mickey Thompson ET Streets, also wrapped around Weld Racing wheels. The car features a Down Body with 4” chop top, custom built frame, roll cage, suicide doors and custom paint and flames of show quality. The inside of the cabin isn’t what you would expect. Often, people with this level of performance opt for a stripped-out interior, with nothing more than racing seats, gauges and metal. This is certainly not the case with this build. The seats are very comfortable and the cabin is spacious, even with the roll cage installed. Creature comforts such as power windows, seat belts and a vinyl interior can be found too. Now for sale in Gateway Classic Cars Houston is this awesome 1936 Ford Special Deluxe. Finished in Green with a Gray interior, this vintage classic really looks the part. It is powered by a 1942 85hp 221 CID Ford V8 mated to a 2-speed transmission with reverse. The vehicle shows 2725 miles on the odometer, but it is unknown if this is actual or not. Chevrolet regained the sales lead at the end of 1936, but the Ford still sold extremely well. A new club cabriolet model was introduced with a fully framed windshield and weatherproof top, and the convertible sedan gained the popular integrated trunk back design. The look was updated with an inverted pentagonal grille with all-vertical bars beneath a prominent hood and three horizontal chrome side strips (on Deluxe models). A concealed horn, long a prominent part of the Ford's design, also brought the car into modern times. The new trucks continued with the old grille. Other major changes for 1936 were the use of pressed steel "artillery" solid wheels instead of wire wheels. This car has been modernized and features conveniences like air conditioning, heating, AM/FM radio, spare tire, jack, functioning brake lights, working horn and a kill switch to preserve battery for times when the car may be sitting. Freshly-minted and now for sale in our Houston showroom is this spectacular all-steel 1938 Chevrolet Coupe. Cloaked in a stellar Porsche Guards Red PPG finish, this is one for all ages. The restoration started with the steel body shell, and a Superior Glass Works Chassis, with fully boxed steel frame rails. Everything was taken to bare metal before any finish work was begun. A new LS3 crate motor was installed, with a FAST intake and FAST fuel rails. A set of coated shorty headers and a full stainless 2.5” exhaust setup, complete with stainless X-pipe, scavenges the spent fuel to the rear with a throaty burble. To the aft of the beefy powerplant, a new 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission with a 3200RPM stall torque converter to aid in providing excellent launches. The 6-speed auto provides excellent highway cruising capabilities, with surprisingly efficient operation. There are two dual finned-aluminum transmission coolers for the tranny to help it keep it at optimum temperature during spirited driving. Controlling the 6L80E’s shifts is a Corvette-style shifter, complete with electronic paddle-shift control capabilities on the gear knob. You’ll feel comfortable knowing that you can drive this thing like its sportscar powertrain wants you to, with handling and ride to match. The front end is a complete Heidts SupeRide II independent front suspension, with tubular upper and lower control arms, sway bar, QA1 adjustable coil-over shocks, 12” Wilwood disk brakes and calipers, and a power rack and pinion steering setup. Out back are QA1’s, a triangulated 4-bar link setup, torsion-style sway bar, an all-new quick-change Currie Ford 9” rear end and third member with 2.75:1 gears and a True-Track limited slip differential, and 11” Wilwood disk brakes and calipers complete with E-brake. The power-assisted braking setup is also equipped with a proportioning valve, allowing for fine-tuning the front/rear braking balance. A set of Nitto performance radials (215/50-17 front, 235/65-17 rear) wrapped around American Racing Salt Flat Special 5-hole wheels help keep this retro-rod stuck to the pavement. Inside this modernized classic, you’ll find that all the chrome trim shines like it’s brand new, and it is abundant. From the chrome window surrounds, windshield and rear window trim, to the door and window levers, everything glistens. There are a few hidden secret gems, too: the chrome window cranks don’t move – a light touch upward will raise the power windows, and a similar light touch will lower them. Equipped with what seems to be power everything, this car has plenty of creature comforts that one wouldn’t expect in a vintage auto. Powered by the legendary 350 CID V8 small block Chevrolet v8 engine mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. This awesome driving machine has only covered 2,000 miles since the build was completed. The exterior of the vehicle is done in a gorgeous, vibrant red with custom pinstriping. The cabin is a lovely place to sit and features excellently finished cloth and leather seats, AM/FM radio, seat belts and most importantly for those hot summer days, air conditioning. This one is easy to maneuver around tight parking lots and heavy traffic, thanks to its modern power brakes and power steering. The combination of all of these features and the fact that it came from California, really brings up the desirability level to 10. A high flat-topped hood dominated the front look of the 1940 model, as the grille spread out to reach the fenders to differentiate the Deluxe line and the headlights were pushed wider still. The standard Ford inherited the grille of the 1939 model with blackout on each side of a heavy chrome center; heavier headlight surrounds serve as another major differentiator from the 1939. 1940 was the last year of the 1937 design. Sealed-beam headlights were one of the few major advances for 1940, while a hydraulic top was new on the convertible. The 1937-1940 generation of Fords is one of the most popular automobiles for hot rodding. Early stock car racing drivers also used Fords of this generation among other cars. Covered in a Creme and Burgundy two-tone paint scheme, it looks like any other nicely-done 1940's sedan, but this one is not what it seems at first glance...but more on that later! Its exterior chrome is in good shape, and the interior chrome trim looks great! Open the hood, and you'll note that the engine bay sports a decidely non-'40s GM 350 CID V8, with a mild Comp Cams bumpstick, double hump heads, a Holley aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4BBL carb, and coated shorty headers. Certainly this is one sleeper rod that will run long and cool. The 350 has less than 5000 miles on it since it was built, and it and the GM TH350 3-peed auto trans work seamlessly with the 3.08:1-equipped GM 12-bolt posi rear end to get this thing up to speed quickly. When you want to scrub off that speed, the front disk/rear drum brake combo work in tandem to haul things down quickly. When you come to a stop, you'll appreciate the menacing rumble that the custom dual exhaust with FlowMaster mufflers provide, and so will your audience at the cruise-ins you'll be frequenting in this stylish "old gal with the young heart"! Moving to the inside, you'll appreciate the craftsmanship that went into the restoration of the interior. Using modern materials, but keeping the vintage motif, the interior looks as though it could have been original, but it's obviously a modernized upgrade of the fabrics that it would have had. Up for sale now in our Houston showroom is this 1940 LaSalle. LaSalle was a brand of automobiles manufactured and marketed by General Motors' Cadillac division from 1927 through 1940. This one is the last year of the model and is the most sought after. In its final years, the LaSalle once again became more Cadillac-like in its appearance and details. This LaSalle is extremely custom & very cool looking with its dark gray paint matched to the blacked-out grille & trim really makes this street rod stand out from the crowd. This car started out as a barn find that was stripped down to the bare body, sandblasted & epoxy primered. It was then built completely from the ground up sparing no expense. This pickup was also known as the Thriftmaster and was the first year of truck series by Chevrolet after WWII. Powering this piece of history is a Offenhauser 110 CID DOHC 4-cylinder motor. This engine features Hilborn fuel injection which is said to be the first fuel injection system created and was desired by many racers of the era. Paired up with the engine is a 2-speed manual “in and out” transmission with your choice of either neutral or GO! The quick-change rear end made this car capable of interchangeable gearing for different racing needs to improve the odds of a win. To provide the stopping power of this beautiful beast is 4-wheel disk-brakes that sit behind 12” aluminum wheels with knock-offs. A complete tubed steel chassis and aluminum dash aided in the car being light weight improving its overall performance. The tires are Firestone 150-12 in the front and M&H Racemaster 150-12 and are in good condition. For what little interior the car has, it is in very good condition. What is that? It’s a classical 1948 Oldsmobile Series 66 that is now for sale here in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston Showroom. These cars were originally called the series 60 but in 1941 both the 6 and 8-cylinder engines were available, so the name was changed to denote which size engine it had by the second digit of the series. The Series 66 represented the 6-cylinder engine and the Series 68 represented the 8-cylinder. This car is in good driving condition and in need of a new owner to take it to the local car shows. It is powered by a 238 CID Inline 6. This classic also features a hydra-matic 4-speed transmission to make for a nice cruising car. The two-toned green paint is in great condition and truly compliments the car. As you walk around the car you will notice the chrome trim is all in good condition along with a nice set of white walls to keep that old school style. Moving to the interior you will find the seats are in good condition with very minor tears. The floors, door panels, dash, and headliner are all in great shape. Under and through the hood of this beauty is a big and healthy 496 CID big block crate motor thats paired with a Weiand Mega Blower. This powertrain combination provides this heavy car with the power and performance of a modern muscle car. Sending the power to the 9" Ford rear end is a turbo 400 automatic transmission that shifts firmly through the gears with no problems handling the almost 800 horsepower this engine generates. The meat that sends the power to the ground are Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires in 29x185x15LT. When it comes time to slow this big classic to a stop, the driver will appreciate the disc brakes up front. Moving inward, the interior of this slick ride is very plush and comfortable. The driver will immediately notice the multi-color leather seats, dash, and headliner that are all in very good condition. Adding to the comfort of this ride are power seats, power windows, power locks, power steering, and power brakes. In the summer months, the driver will appreciate the removable hard top to allow for plenty of sunshine and fresh air. Overall, the interior of the car is in really good shape. Moving outward, the exterior of the car has a super mean vibe to it thanks to the canvas covered soft top along with some shaving of the body here and there. The PPG "Vanilla Shake" paint is in good condition with extremely minimal imperfections. Overall, the car is an extremely nice driver quality car with minimal imperfections. Up for sale now in our Houston showroom is this pretty 1950 Chevrolet 3100 pickup. The truck scene as of late is on the rise. Leading the way is the Chevrolet 3100 and the early Ford F1 and F100. From full-on customs to the old trusty shop truck, everything is in vogue of late. This truck has undergone a full frame-off restoration about 20 years ago and has been garage kept ever since. It does have many custom features that make this one sweet ride. It sports a nice bright blue paint job that looks like Dodge Viper blue or close to it. The paint is in good condition for being an older restoration and keeping it in the garage helped with that. Overall the finish is a high-end driver quality paint finish that still shows well, even more so in the sunlight. The exterior trim, bumpers, grill, running boards, & glass are in great condition. The door handles have been shaved off & suicided, the tailgate has been smoothed out, & the bed is all custom wood.The truck sits on some 15-inch Cragar wheels that are wrapped in BF Goodrich tires that have plenty of life in them. The interior is all custom & in great condition sporting some captain’s chairs, a custom overhead panel with the trucks electrical switches, custom flooring & door panels. It has a custom painted dash with new gauges, Vintage AC controls, & more. Powering this sweet 3100 down the road is a 350 CiD V8 that runs very well & healthy throughout the powerband. It has a nice 4-barrel edlebrock carburetor on it, aluminum intake manifold, ceramic coated headers, a large aluminum radiator with electric fans, a new Vintage air conditioning system, & plenty of chrome & polished parts on it. It is paired to a smooth shifting Turbo350 3-speed automatic transmission that gives the truck a nice easy ride. The engine & trans have been rebuilt recently and have about 2000 miles on them since then. The truck has upgraded suspension on it with newer style front clip with modern control arms & suspension set up. It also has had some recent maintanence items done on it including; new fuel system, new fuel pump, fuel lines, new carburetor, battery, & alternator, new electric fan, new radiator with new hoses, & more!
