The 302 CID Chevrolet engine that powers this T-Bucket has a Weiand 144 blower, forged internals, ported and polished heads, Lunati valve train, and runs on 13 to 1 compression. A Shotgun Bill scoop sits on top of the engine creating a menacing look and also feeds the Edelbrock 850 CFM carburetor the necessary air it needs to do its job. This all amounts to a whopping 510 horsepower! The TH350 automatic transmission has a stage 2 shift kit and a 3200-3500 stall converter to help transfer the power to the built Chrysler 8 ¾ rear end with Auburn Posi-Traction and 3.73 gears. The PPG black paint is accented nicely with the red vinyl interior. A door on the passenger side allows for an easier entry and exit of the tub. This T sits on Weld Racing Rodlite wheels with some big fat bias-ply Mickey Thompsons on the back, and smaller Nexen radials up front. Disc brakes adorn all for corners, and coil over shocks are in the rear to provide as nice a ride as possible for this T-Bucket. This hot rod was very carefully built to be as accurate as possible to a hot rod from back int he good ole days, 1957 specifically. Going with the 1957 hot rod theme, the car is powered by a period correct Corvette 283. The stout 283 is backed by a 1939 Ford 3 speed manual transmission and a 1940 Ford rear end housing 4.10 gears. The frame is an original 1932 as is the metal gas tank and radiator shell. The body is from Outlaw and features an original firewall appearance. Topping the 283 is an original 1947 Cadillac air cleaner. The exhaust has been Jet Coated in black from the manifolds all the way back to the exhaust tips. The build looks as if the car was sent to us from the past via a time machine. Painted in a high gloss black with the red frame exposed and matched by the red steel wheels with chrome beauty rings and white wall tires(radials). The exposed engine bay also adds to the vintage hot rod theme. Don't be confused with builds of today. This one is no frills and all thrills. No A/C or power steering, this is a hot rod! It is also a proven show winner. It took Street Rodder Top 10 at Goodguys and received the Magnum Axle/ Real Hot Rod award from Goodguys. We are happy to offer at our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom this triple red 1932 Ford Roadster. The red Wescott body was completely stripped down and repainted in 2004. The underside of the rear quarter panels were Rhino lined to protect the body while driving down the road. Custom pin-stripping runs throughout the car, along the side, on the trunk lid, and on the dash to help make it stand out amongst the crowd. The red vinyl interior was also replaced in the mid 2000’s and shows very well, with minimal signs of wear. Capping off the red on red on red appearance is the red cloth top that is in very good condition. A Hagan steel hood covers the 302 CID V8 that powers this 32’ Ford down the road. The 302 V8 features a full roller block, E-303 cam, Edelbrock aluminum heads, aluminum valve covers, and a Holley carburetor. Headers flow to the true dual exhaust that dump out the side in front of the rear tires and provide a great sound. An automatic transmission with overdrive and a shift kit transfers the power to the Ford 9” that houses 3.55 gears. The Wescott body sits on a TCI boxed frame. A 2” dropped chrome axle and rack and pinion steering is up front while a 4-link suspension setup is out back. In the trunk you will find the Pioneer AM/FM radio with CD player, which you can control from the driver’s seat via remote control. The odometer reads 22,602, the actual mileage is unknown, and just 2,000 miles have been put on the car in the last 14 years. This award-winning steel-body (fiberglass fenders) 1933 Plymouth Tudor is now for sale and viewing at our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom. If you've traveled the classic car show circuit, you may have run into this 1933 Plymouth at some point in time. The present owner bought it in 2011 Sugarland, Texas where it was built, but before that time and thereafter it has been entered and won many awards for its build and beauty. Even though her current body finish is closing on at being at least a decade old, the Vanilla Ice paint on the all-steel body (fiberglass finders) is still holding and showing very well. There are no unsightly chips, scratches, or dents anywhere on the exterior. The suicide doors open and close tight, and the widows roll up and down smoothly. The interior is composed of a dark plum, that is borderline purple and is color-coordinated with the wire coverings inside the engine compartment and the fancy decor on the outer-body. The woodgrain dash alongside the plum vinyl and fabric gives this 1933 Plymouth Tudor a classic look and feel. It is very clean on the inside and does not have any noticeable stains, tears, or odors. Underneath the hood is a 350 Chevrolet ZZ4 engine with 355 Horsepower. It also has a HEI distributor, GM performance dual plain intake, aluminum heads, and a camshaft hydraulic roller. The transmission is an automatic 200 r-4 optional over-drive, with an 8" Ford rear-end with 3:55 gears. For driving it has a Mustang II front clip with power rack and pinion steering and recently installed Monroe shocks. The brakes are front disc and rear drum. For smooth efficiency an Edelbrock Performer 750 CFM Carburetor with a high-performance fuel pump has been installed. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an extremely interesting and well built 1933 Ford Sedan Delivery street rod. Finished in stunning red with wide white wall tires at first glance this may look like a standard '33, but look closer and you'll see nearly every part has been customized. The body is a all steel and was 1 of under 2,000 Sedan Deliverys made in '33. The paint is Ferrari Testarossa Red and has been beautifully applied. You'll notice the advertisement for "Mortland's Auto Body" on the side, and that's the shop that took care of the paint for this '33. The lettering is real gold leaf and may contain a small fortune right there on the side of the truck. The front windshield is functional and tilts out for nice ventilation. In addition, all glass is amber tinted safety glass. The rear mounted exterior trunk is a nice classic touch, but if it is not your style, the trunk and bracket can be easily removed. The chrome wire wheels are a great look especially with the new set of Coker Classic wide white wall tires. The beating heart of this '33 is a 1970 LT-1 350 CID V8 which is rated at 370 BHP. The engine was overhauled in 2006 and since has traveled just over 23,000 miles. Of course the power plant is dressed up with all the goodies: Endurashine carburetor, custom valve covers, chrome lines and fittings, and custom air cleaner. Backing the 350 is a Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission which runs to an 8" Ford rear end with 2.73 final drive ratio. This Ford was set up to drive across the country and has done just that a few times. Inside you'll be nice and comfortable sitting on front leather bucket seats. Crank up the stereo and the Vintage Air A/C unit and arrive in style and comfort. The dash is well laid out with everything you'll need including gauges by Classic Instruments, custom machined dash panels, and a very nifty steering wheel. Mounted to a tilt column, the Flaming River billet steering wheel can be removed without any tools as a simple yet effective theft deterrent. The rear section of the truck has been nicely upholstered with storage in the floor which includes a hidden spare wheel. This street rod is sure to stand out among the simpler builds and is already a multi-trophy winner. The best part is how well documented the vehicle has been since being restored. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1936 Ford Tudor. This beautiful street rod has covered a modest 1,600 miles since its full frame off restoration last year. The restoration started as well as anyone can ask for, a rust free body. This one is all original steel, no fiberglass on this one! Prior to the restoration, the car had been stored in a garage since 1946 with an original 27,000 miles! Even though the car was very solid, the restorer decided to upgrade the chassis to a Pete and Jake frame. This is a great upgrade to handle the added power coming from the Vortec 350 V8. The body of this 36’ Ford is all steel except the rear fenders, which are fiberglass. The Autumn Copper is a Nissan color, it was applied in 2013, and it looks amazing, so rich and deep. The beautiful white leather interior also looks fantastic and is accented by the white steering wheel and column, and white faced AutoMeter gauges. To keep the dash and interior looking clean and age appropriate, the AM/FM head unit was mounted behind the driver’s seat. There is a remote that controls the radio, so you do not have to stop the car to change anything radio related, i.e. volume or radio station. Powering this awesome Ford is a 402 CID V8 engine with aluminum valve covers, a polished aluminum Edlebrock intake, and an Edelbrock carburetor. Headers flow from the engine to the FlowMaster mufflers combining for an excellent sound. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan helps keep this big block V8 cool on hot days, while the A/C keeps the passengers cool inside the cab. A TH-350 automatic transmission transfers the power to the 12-bolt rear end. For optimal steering and handling a Heidts Super Ride front end has been installed as well as power brakes, including disc up front. The front end has been swapped out for a modern front end with coil springs and rack and pinion steering. Front disc brakes also help with safety as well as a dual master with power booster. Power steering also helps with drivability. The engine is a 350 CID Chevy small block with some light alterations such as headers, and some chrome dress up items. Backing this is a TH350 transmission and a Ford 9" rear end. In all four corners it has brand new wheels and tires. The body is beautifully finished in cobalt blue with ghost flames on the front end. This color is sure to stand out in a crowd. The interior is a bit more subtle with gray cloth upholstery all around. The dash has a custom Shark gauge cluster and the AC controls. The build was completed in 2005 and is powered by a 351 CID V8 engine that features alloy valve covers, an Edelbrock carburetor, a K&N filter, and a Griffin aluminum radiator to keep it running cool. The Ford AOD automatic transmission transfers the muscle to the Ford 9” rear end that houses 3.00 gears. A rack and pinion steering setup has been employed to provide wonderful handling, while power 4-wheel disc brakes provide maximum stopping power. The tan leather upholstery matches the painted dash with custom pinstriping, and Beede gauges perfectly. For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1936 Ford 5 Window coupe. This isn't your traditional '36 and may be mistaken for a '37. One of the most notable features is the transformation from a rumble seat into an operable trunk lid. You would be hard pressed to find another '36 5 window with this custom treatment. The eye catching blue paint is a one year only 2002 Volkswagen Aquarius Blue. It certainly looks period correct but with a little pop. The restoration is top notch thanks to a seasoned car builder and a solid body. This '36 is still using all of its original sheet metal! The top was filled, the trunk was heavily modified by removing the rumble seat and precise cutting to create a trunk, custom headlights, tail lights, bumpers and firewall. Underneath is just as impressive and features a Mustang II designed front suspension with upper and lower control arms with power rack and pinion steering. Power front disc and rear drums make for easy braking. The polished stainless steel 18-gallon fuel tank looks beautiful. Power comes from a mild 1970 350 small block Chevy and sends the power through a TH-350 automatic transmission and back to an open rear diff with 2.75:1 gears. The build has just over 6,000 miles and is sure to impress. Inside is a Tea C bench seat, Dolphin Gauges, tilt steering column and A/C controls. This two door sedan is powered by its original 221 Flathead V8 and shifts through a 3-speed manual transmission. Eight years ago the car underwent a full body off restoration to bring the car back to as it was in 1936. Originality was the key and the execution was spot on. All new brakes lines, exhaust system, bumpers and trim. It is still equipped with the original clock that winds up and keeps time. The interior is back to original and the car is also fitted with new wide white wall tires. There are only 207 miles on the car since the restoration and it still looks amazing. It's a true pleasure to see and drive a car that has been restored back to original specs. It's an easier task in most cases to turn an old car into a hot rod. With this car, you get an idea on what it was like to drive one of these when they were new. It's easy to appreciate the time and detail that goes into restoring this Humpback. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a 1937 Chevrolet Business Coupe. This Chevrolet was purchased in 1980 and was completely disassembled, sand blasted, and rebuilt. Originality was a key part of the restoration, and the bar was certainly met with this build. The day restoration was complete this Business Coupe was a fair-weather driver, and always kept in a climate-controlled facility. The 216 CID six-cylinder engine is believed to be original to the 37’ Chevrolet, as is the 3-speed manual transmission. Both the engine and transmission have approximately 500 miles on them since being rebuilt, along with the rest of the car. The black exterior paint is by PPG and is accented by a double red pin stripe that runs down each side. The grayish brown cloth interior is in very good condition, showing little to no signs of wear. The odometer reads 35,642, the actual mileage is unknown, but approximately 500 miles have been put on the car since the build was complete. This 37’ Pheaton is powered by a Flathead V8 engine, which is believed to be original to the car, as is the 3 speed manual transmission that transfers the power to the pavement. This 37’ Ford Pheaton is finished in a dark blue exterior paint. The saddle brown leather interior creates a wonderful color combination against the dark blue paint and light brown cloth convertible top. The odometer reads 17,947, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1937 Ford Pheaton include: AM Radio (inoperable), Manual Convertible Top, Leather Interior, Hub Caps, and Wide White Wall Radial Tires. The Phaeton body style differs from a convertible in that it does not have a winding or sliding windows in the doors nor does it have a permanent, fixed roof. Due to the lack of a rigid or fixed roof, the Phaeton was much lighter than a convertible. The Phaeton body style was faded out after the convertible style became much more popular with its ability to be driven in all types of weather. The last Phaeton to be mass produced by an American manufacturer was the 1948 Willys-Overland Jeepster. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a very rare and unique 1937 Lincoln Zephyr. Finished in Bermuda Blue, a Dupont show series basecoat/clearcoat, this iconic Zephyr stands out from the crowd. Powering this 37' Zephyr is a 5.0L HO V8 engine that was donated from a 1986 Ford Mustang. The 5.0 V8 was bored 10/1000ths, the crank was polished, and the engine was reassembled with all new components including pistons, rings, bearings, valves, lifters, and injectors. All engine accessories AC condenser, alternator, power steering pump, water pump, crank pulley, and brackets were chromed and shine bright under the hood. Coated headers flow from the heads to the full exhaust and provide a nice growl out the back. The same 86' Mustang provided the AOD Ford automatic transmission, which was professionally rebuilt before being installed in the Zephyr. A Currie 9" rear end houses 3.50 gears and puts the power to the pavement. A 4 Bar AirRide suspension system provides the perfect stance, while Wilwood disc brakes stop this Lincoln on a dime. A power rack and pinion steering provides effortless maneuverability no matter the driving situation. Fresh enough to look fantastic and enough miles to work out any bugs. This one is ready to enjoy! Power comes from a well built 355 Chevy small block V8 with a mild camshaft and a great exhaust note. Power is sent through a 700-R4 automatic overdrive and back to a Ford 9 inch housing 3.55 gears. Power four wheel disc provide strong and confident braking. A Mustang II designed front suspension aides in great steering and road feel. The Mustang II includes power rack and pinion steering with upper and lower control arms. In addition to the beautifully laid yellow paint, the car features a one piece windshield, all new tinted glass, frenched antenna, a recessed rear license plate plus a hideaway front license plate, custom headlights with built in turn signals and a roll pan for the front, rear and sides in place of the old running boards. Inside the attention to detail continues with a very unique yellow and aqua two toned leather interior. Classic Instruments adorn the dash with easy to read gauges. A 302 CID V8 engine provides the horsepower for this 46’ Coupe and features an Edelbrock carburetor and aluminum intake, Summit HEI distributor, Billet Pulleys, chrome valve covers, and dual fuel pumps (Summit mechanical and a Holley electric). An aluminum radiator and 16” electric fan work together to keep this Ford powered street rod cool on hot days. A C4 automatic transmission transfers the power to the Ford 8” rear end. The Light Chestnut exterior paint is a PPG product and shows very well. The dark red pinstripe matches the cranberry accents in the interior to a T. The tan cloth interior is as clean as you will find. The tweed seats, panels, and headliner show little to no wear, and look excellent. The odometer reads 30,109, which represents the mileage put on the car since the restoration was complete.
