This good looking 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T is for sale in our Indianapolis showroom of Gateway Classic Cars. The data tag confirms this Challenger is a true R/T equipped with a 440 V8 390 HP 3-2BBL Carburetor (six-pack) set-up. The owner does not believe this to be the original 440 V8, but it is period correct to the car. The Yellow is not the original color to the car. Originally the color of this was Dark Burnt Orange Metallic with a white vinyl top. We think the yellow exterior and black vinyl top. The interior decodes as vinyl high back bucket seats, but it does not designate the color. The current owner is not completely sure about the rear end, but it originally came with a Super Performance Axle package with 4.10 gears. The complete breakdown of the data tag is available upon request. Overall, this Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack is in very good condition. With the recent work done to the Challenger, it will bring the fun factor. You may want to set aside a little cash as this car is very capable of melting the rear tires. This 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T has new brakes, new Holley carburetors (six-pack set-up) and the heads have been reworked. Options for this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T include; AM radio, Seat Belts, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Chrome Cragar Wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial Tires. Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1970 Dodge Challenger! This beast is powered by a 340 CID V8 6-pack that was rebuilt 4800 miles ago. The 3-speed 904 TorqueFlight transmission was rebuilt even more recently than the engine, covering only about 1000 miles since being done. The 8:34 rear end features 3:23 gears and has also been rebuilt about 1000 miles ago. The exterior is finished in a stunning blue code PB3 paint which brings out the amazing body lines of this classic Mopar machine. The car has received an entirely new A/C and heating system from vintage air. All new March Performance Serpentine drive kit, new MSD ignition system, new radio, new Dakota digital dash, new digital tail lights, new disc brakes in the front, new dash pad. The car has been very well cared for and it’s very obvious when you look around the car. It was one of two Chrysler E-body cars, the other being the slightly smaller Plymouth Barracuda. "Both the Challenger and Barracuda were available in a staggering number of trim and option levels" and were intended "to compete against cars like the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang, and to do it while offering virtually every engine in Chrysler's inventory. The performance model was the R/T (Road/Track), with a 383 cu in (6.28 L) "Magnum" V8, rated at 335 bhp; 300 bhp for 1971, due to a drop-in compression. The standard transmission was a 3-speed manual. Optional R/T engines were the 375 bhp 440 cu in (7.2 L) Magnum, the 390 bhp 440 CID Six-Pack and the 425 bhp 426 cu in (7.0 L) Hemi. The R/T was available in either the hardtop or convertible. The Challenger R/T came with a Rallye instrument cluster that included a 150-mph speedometer, an 8,000 rpm tachometer, 1972–1974 tachometer went to 7,000 rpm and an oil pressure gauge. In 1972, the R/T badging was dropped and these models were called "Rallye", although they were never badged as such. The Rallye model featured a faux brake vent on the fenders. The shaker hood scoop was not available after 1971. The same year this car rolled off the assembly line the world's first jumbo-jet, the Boeing 747, has its first commercial flight on January 22nd of 1970. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1972 Dodge Challenger. The 72 Challenger kept much of the original lines from the original 70 cars except for a few key differences. The cars were great looking but the performance like many of the early muscle cars had been sucked away due to emissions and insurance issues. This 72 Challenger has pumped life back into the performance side with a 440 shoved under the hood reminiscent of the good ole days. The mild cam has given this animal not only a great sound at idle but an increase in overall performance. The hood has been retrofitted with one the most memorable options MOPAR ever did, The Shaker Hood. Fire this big block up and hit the gas as the scoop shakes back and forth with every blip of the throttle. Matched up to a built 904 Trans this must be one of the best cars I have driven. The B5 Blue Metallic paint is extremely clean and shows very well with the metallic popping in the sunlight and grabbing everyone’s attention. Taken down to bare metal and rotisserie restored the underneath of the car is in exceptional condition. With no undercoating the builder wanted to be sure that you knew this car is right. Open the door and you are welcomed by an interior that has been redone. The custom seats have Challenger embroidered into them which is a nice custom touch. The middle console houses the original slap shift shifter just as you would expect from a 72 Challenger. If you have been wanting to get into a big block challenger that has been restored and needs nothing but a new driver this beauty ids yours for the taking. Options on this 1972 Dodge Challenger Include; AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Seat Belts and Rally Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1972 Dodge Challenger is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Engine: 318 CID V8Transmission: 727 AutomaticMileage: 25398 ( undocumented )
For sale in our Nashville showroom is a show stopping 1973 Dodge Challenger, Draped in a beautiful of blue the street monster of the ‘70’s is a real head turner! With classic good looks and a strong Mopar heritage this 1973 Challenger for sale has everything going for it. Under the hood is the peppy 318 CID V8 that seemed to find it’s way into just about everything with a pentastar on it. The mighty small block 318 was well know in the circles I ran in as a young man. It was known to be high reving and full on torque through a wide band, producing power with a slight touch of full slam of the right foot. Backing this Dodge small block is almost certainly the venerable 727 torque flight 3 speed automatic transmission which is controlled with the Slap Stick ® shifter I believe it was also called the auto stick®. This shifter allowed the driver to shift into the next gear with a gentle nug or a hardly slap and would never slide past 2nd and into 3rd allowing the Camaro beside you to put a gap between your front bumper and his rear. Most, if not all current ratchet shifters owe a nod to the engineers at Chrysler, as they copied the idea. The high back bucket seats hold you firmly in place as you look out over that wide, long hood. Grip the steering wheel tight with one hand, the other on the auto stick and prepare for lift off. Options for this 1973 Challenger for sale include Power steering and brakes, Vinyl interior, Radial tires and aluminum alloy wheels. A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. For more information please call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or send us an email firstname.lastname@example.org

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is very excited to offer up this 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 for sale. Between the crazy powerplant and the custom sound system, this car is sure to be an eye catcher at carshows. Under the hood of this beast is a completely built 427 CID V8 engine that is equiped with a Kenne Bell Mammoth supercharger along with a whole host of supporting modifications that allow this sweet car to make around 1,200 horsepower. The automatic transmission has also been built to handle this kind of power and abuse by strictly performance. Overall, the powertrain of this beauty has a very sleeper feel to it at idle. Standing next to the car with the hood closed, one would find it very hard to tell that this car has been modified so extensively and makes north of 1k horsepower. Although challengers are known for being heavy, this car handles the weight just fine from a roll thanks to all of that power. With the current wheel and tire setup, the driver will find it hard to keep a solid connection to the pavement from slow speeds. There are no two ways about it, this car is dangerously fast! Upon entering this big muscle car, the driver will be greeted by a very comfortable and roomy interior. The interior of challengers are some of the most comfortable of muscle cars and can fit individuals very large and tall. The seats are finished in leather and suede to give a classy touch. These seats provide a good amount of support while still being roomy enough for larger individuals unlike the seats of most other muscle and sports cars. This sweet ride is loaded with features. Some of which include cruise control, GPS, heated seats, power seats, power sunroof, tilt/telescoping wheel, and power mirrors. The sound system on this car is also highly modified with two large subwoofers in the trunk with a custom housing for them and the amps. Overall, this is a very comfortable car to drive and could make an excelent daily driver. Moving outward, the exterior has been kept almost completely stock to allow for one hell of a sleeper look. The paint is the factory black metalic and is in decent condition. the hood also features a faux carbon fiber decal that adds some contrast. Supporting each corner of the car are black powdercoated wheels with relatively new rubber surrouning them. Summed up, this car is a luxurious sleeper that will take on just about anything in a roll race!
