Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this well-preserved piece of automotive history. A 1962 Chevrolet Corvair for sale. This 1962 Chevy Corvair has two doors, a hardtop and was repainted many years ago in its original hue of Coronna Cream in acrylic enamel paint, just like it was originally. The car has recently been professionally detailed, and the paint, chrome, glass, interior, engine compartment, undercarriage, and trunk look better than you'd expect from such a low mileage car. With an automatic Power glide transmission, this little beauty drives extremely well. The matching cream-colored interior is enhanced by an AM radio and seat belts. Everything from the headliner to the carpet is original, just as assembly line workers at Willow Run, MI installed it 56 years ago. The flat-6 air-cooled engine runs like a top, and everything that affects the drive ability (steering, suspension, brakes, etc.) performs flawlessly. This is truly a time-warp car from an era where low-priced cars like this one were disposable after a few years of use. This little gem is sure to please the next owner. It certainly makes everyone smiles who sees it. A car this nice and mostly original only comes along once in a great while. Don't let this one get away! Milwaukee is presenting a beautiful 1963 Chevrolet Corvair It features a Blue exterior, blue interior. It features a 104hp motor and a 4 speed transmission. This is a beautiful build that you can cruise in comfortably. The Chevrolet Corvair is a compact car manufactured by Chevrolet for model years 1960–1969. It was the only American-designed, mass-produced passenger car to use a rear-mounted, air-cooled engine. The name "Corvair" is a portmanteau of Corvette and Bel Air. The name was first applied in 1954 to a Corvette-based concept with a hardtop fastback-styled roof that was part of the Motorama traveling exhibition. The 1963 model year had the optional availability of a long 3.08 gear for improved fuel economy, but the Corvair otherwise remained largely carryover with minor trim and engineering changes. Self-adjusting brakes were new for 1963. The Monza line was really proving its worth. Of all the Corvairs sold in 1963, fully 80% were Monzas. The convertible model accounted for over 20% of all the Monzas sold. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this beautiful 1963 Corvair in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this unbelievably low mileage 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible. The standard flat 6 made, at most, about 100 horsepower which was rather peppy in such a small car and this unit came equipped with the optional 4 speed manual transmission which makes driving this little classic a true pleasure. This red beauty is all original, with the only exceptions being a handful of maintenance items. The interior is covered in red vinyl and is remarkably well preserved - and why shouldn't it be? After all, this time capsule has been well cared for since new! Be sure to check out this classic head turner. One turn of the key and this 6-cylinder fires right up and sounds fantastic. If you have ever wondered what a 1963 Corvair drives like now is your chance to find out. Nice, solid Corvair’s are getting harder to come by and finding a convertible is even harder yet. This show stopper is ready to reap awards and accolades and plenty of thumbs up and smiles along the way. Options on this include: AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Manual Convertible Top, Hub Caps, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Vinyl Interior. Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible! The Corvair was born out of the need for a fuel-efficient, mid-sized car in GM’s lineup to enter a new class of cars that consisted of the Nash Rambler and imports from Europe, such as Volkswagen, Renault, and Fiat. The Corvair was released to much fanfare in 1960. For 1964 significant engineering changes occurred, while the model lineup and styling remained relatively unchanged. The engine displacement was increased from 145 to 164 cu in by an increase in stroke. The base engine power increased from 80 to 95 hp, and the high performance engine increased from 95 to 110 hp. 1964 saw an improvement in the car's swing axle rear suspension with the addition of a transverse leaf spring along with softer rear coil springs designed to diminish rear roll stiffness and foster more neutral handling. Spring rates could now be softer at both ends of the car compared to previous models. The heavy duty suspension was no longer optional, although all models now had a front anti-roll bar as standard. Brakes were improved with finned rear drums This example is black on black with a very nice red interior. The top is in great shape and the car is clean and complete! This 1964 Corvair Monza Convertible for sale is located in our Indianapolis Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including a High Def video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please call (317)688-1100 or email us at INDY@gatewayclassiccars.com for additional information.

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza up for sale. In the dawning age of the high-horsepower muscle car era, the 1966 Chevrolet Corvair stood as an alternative to import cars like the Volkswagen Beetle with its rear-engine, rear-drive configuration. In 1966, the Chevrolet Corvair was offered with numerous body styles, and this particular Corvair is the four-passenger, two-door Monza Sport Coupe model. It pairs the 140-horsepower flat-six engine with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, which uses a dash-mounted gear selector to open up even more space for the compact car's interior. According to the trim tag, the 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza you see here was originally painted Lemonwood Yellow, but it has since been repainted in the pastel green, which is one of the more popular colors you'll find this car in. This Corvair was also built with factory air conditioning (which is currently not hooked up) and the Convenience Group that includes an inside mirror, remote-control outside mirror, door edge guards, under hood light, luggage compartment light and a glove box light. Options on this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair include AM/FM radio, seat belts, vinyl interior and radial tires.
