1957 Ford Ranchero

1957 Ford Ranchero

Engine: 351W V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 1,230 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1957 Ford Ranchero. This 1957 Ranchero for sale has been restored to near perfect condition. This Ranchero has under gone a complete frame off restoration were every tiny thing was cleaned, rebuilt, repaired, repainted and reinstalled. The current owner then had custom badges made for the car to rename it a Rodchero. As you open the front hinged hood of this classic beauty it becomes obvious that money never entered the mind of the guy who planned and then built this car. Sitting inside this decked out compartment is a 351 Cubic inch ford small block that is pushing approx. 390 horsepower. It is easy to see the muscle bulging, with a set of headers, and a Demon® 4-barrel carburetor and Mallory® unilite electronic distributor. Backing this Blue Oval power plant is a C6 3 speed automatic transmission that has a 3000-stall converter ready to help you shred some tires. Holding up the back in of this ’57 Ranchero for sale and dividing the power to the rear tires is the bullet proof 9-inch axle housing a 390:1 gear set. Now in my opinion the Ranchero is the best of both worlds (kind of like a mullet) car in the front and truck in the back. You get to have to comfort of a car and can still haul gravel, no, that’s not wise, wood, wait, nope, well with 390 Horsepower, you know what you can haul! All the trophy’s you will win at the cars shows. Options for this 1957 Ford Ranchero include: Air conditioning, Power steering and brakes, Tilt wheel, Leather interior and Alloy wheels. 1958 Ford Ranchero

Engine: 312 CID V8
Transmission: 2-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 20,530 ( undocumented )

Now featured in our Milwaukee showroom is this stunning 1958 Ford Ranchero with only 45 miles on a completely overhauled 312 cubic inch V8 engine. Imagine driving to the beach this summer in this classic with the surf boards or paddle boards loaded for a day of fun in the sun. 1958 was the second year that Ford was producing the Ranchero, which was essentially the same as the Fairlane wagon with a truck bed. This meant a smooth ride with the functionality of a pickup. The two-toned color combination on this one is a very clean look and is carried on throughout the interior which stays cool on those warm sunny summer days. When you get in this car and start to cruise you notice that all of the materials used in the interior are quality and well thought out making the ride that much more pleasant. The freshly rebuilt engine provides ample amounts of power and the transmission shifts smoothly between gears. If you are looking for something to cruise to the beach in look no further than the gorgeous Ranchero. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. 1965 Ford Ranchero

1965 Ford Ranchero

Engine: 289 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 5,774 ( undocumented )

This Ranchero is worth a closer look! The wild paint scheme, built up small block, and overall style will catch every eye it passes! Back in the early 90’s the owner of this Ranchero put pen to paper and wrote down his wild ideas for what the perfect Ranchero should look like. After a couple years labor and plenty of sweat equity, this wild 1965 Ranchero became a reality! The wild multi-colored paint scheme has unique features everywhere you look and has held up surprisingly well over the years. The chassis was heavily modified to fit the massive rear tires on it to fully encapsulate the drag truck look he was going for. Sitting right in the center above the tubbed-out rear wheel wells is a nitrous tank for the extra horsepower when the tricked out 289CID V8 under the hood needs a little bit more power. Open the driver door, swing the door bar out of the way, and get comfortable in the fully custom interior. The dash is all stainless steel and is equipped with enough gauges to make you wonder if you are in an airplane. The seats will keep you relaxed on the longest of cruises or punching it down the drag way. What this truck is really good at is turning every head that passes. Whether you are going to a national show or the local car cruise, this Ranchero will earn a great deal of respect. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Ranchero in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. 1967 Ford Ranchero

1967 Ford Ranchero

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: C6
Mileage: 4,385 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Nashville Showroom is a 1967 Ford Ranchero. This Ranchero for sale offers the best traits of both the car and the truck. Giving you the ability to bring home the large parts that you have ordered from your local speed shop with giving you the ride of a 1967 car. It also has the cool appeal unlike any other. Covered in red paint that gives this Ranchero a classic look and reminds me of fast cars and late night black top runs many years ago. Under the hood of this ’67 Ranchero for sale is a fresh 302 built by Arizona Mustang performance that is topped with a mid rise intake and a Holley® 4 barrel carburetor. Lighting the fires is a H.E.I distributor. This Ranchero is very snappy, light touches to the go fast pedal and net with instant revolutions per minute, yea, I could have said RPM’s but thought went the long way. Backing this potent Ford small block is a C 6 3 Speed automatic transmission that provides firm shifts. The job of selecting gears is accomplished via a B&M® Quick Silver® ratchet shifter. After a short test drive, I am sure that with slight pressure with the right foot and proper timing with the shifter would produce enough torque to have the rear tires break traction, or in other words. This car can shred the tires and produce clouds of smoke and ear to ear smiles! Of course, I have not attempted this, and neither should you. Option for this 1967 Ford Ranchero for sale include: Vinyl interior, Aluminum alloy rims and a jack. The Pumice color looks awesome on this car thanks to a recent repaint and the glass, chrome, and wheels and tires were replaced at the same time. With very few of these floating around the web, it is safe to say this is one of the nicer ones available. These Ranchero’s were considered the Gentleman’s Pick-Up and once produced, they were used as a tool and that can be the reason why not many are left on the market. 1970 Ford Ranchero

1970 Ford Ranchero

Engine: 302 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 15,475 ( undocumented )

This well optioned Ranchero is perfect for the weekend warrior looking to get behind the wheel of a classic! I'ts 1970, the Soviet Venera 7 is 1st spacecraft to land on another planet (Venus), and this beautiful Emerald White Ranchero rolls into showrooms for sale. Now with only 5000 miles on her since the rebuild. The healthy 302 V8 is backed by a C4 automatic transmission. Other goodies include A/C, power steering, power brakes, disc brakes up front, new interior, and tonneau cover. The Ford Ranchero is a coupe utility that was produced by Ford between 1957 and 1979. Unlike a pickup truck, the Ranchero was adapted from a two-door station wagon platform that integrated the cab and cargo bed into the body. A total of 508,355 units were produced during the model's production run. It was adapted from full-sized, compact, and intermediate automobiles sold by Ford for the North American market. While Chevrolet's El Camino used the same body from 1968 to 1972, 1970 had a complete restyle for the Ranchero, which had started with a boxy body style. Both the Torino and Ranchero featured a shallow-pointed grille and front end with smooth, somewhat more curvaceous lines influenced by coke bottle styling. A fourth trim option was made available in 1970. The Ranchero Squire was an upmarket trim package which featured a woodgrain applique similar to that found on the Country Squire station wagon. Like in previous years, all Torino trim and engine options could be ordered, including all-new Ram-Air 429 Cobra Jet or Super Cobra Jet engines with the new "shaker" hood scoop, so named because it was directly mounted to the carburetor and shook with the engine at idle. Also available was a stylish grille that featured hide-away headlamps, as well as an optional hood with an oversized scoop which was standard on Torino GTs. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Mileage: 93,908 ( actual )

BACKGROUND: The Ford Ranchero is a coupe utility that was produced by Ford between 1957 and 1979. Unlike a pickup truck, the Ranchero was adapted from a two-door station wagon platform that integrated the cab and cargo bed into the body. A total of 508,355 units were produced during the model's production run. The 1973 Ranchero had a redesigned front end to meet new federal standards for front impact protection.
