1932 Chevrolet Sedan

1932 Chevrolet Sedan

Engine: 400 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 7,008 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville show room is this red hot 1932 Chevrolet Sedan street rod! In 1932 the Great Depression was marching on and across town Ford was cranking out the brand new 1932 Fords sporting a ground breaking V8 engine. This caused sales to slump for the young Chevrolet company who was still using the inline 6-cylinder stove bolt motor, causing the 1932 Chevrolet BA Confederate Sedan to be produced in far lower numbers. Today that works to your advantage if you’re a bowtie fan that want’s something nobody else has! Oh, and don’t worry about that stove bolt inline-6, it’s been ditched in favor of the venerable small block Chevrolet V8 with a displacement of 400 cubic inches! This 1932 Chevrolet has a striking interior with leather and ostrich skin on the seats and the door panels, windows are power, the overhead console holds the cd player, the custom rear package tray sports new speakers, the driver has an adjustable tilt wheel to make driving more comfortable and can access all gears from the lokar shifter, and there are new mag wheels and performance radial tires all around. This 1932 Chevrolet Sedan is ready for the local cruise in or a trip on the power tour! 1932 Ford Sedan

1932 Ford Sedan

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 196 ( undocumented )

Now available in our DFW Showrooms is this custom built 1932 Ford Sedan. Today, the 1932 Model B, although always a little bit in the shadow of the V8, is a highly collectible car and people will pay high dollars to restore one to original specification, which is ironic, as they were once cheap "throwaway" cars popular with hot rodders who would tear them apart and use them as the basis for a "build". This is partly why it is so hard to find an unaltered specimen today. Our 1932 is no exception as it has been rebuilt from the ground up! When starting with a custom-rod, where else do you begin then heart of the vehicle. This 1932 is powered around by a straight out the GM crate- Mr.Goodwrench 350-V8 motor, with aluminum heads, edelbrock carb 650 CFM, and a MSD Ignition. Which creates plenty of ponies to the back wheels. Speaking of wheels, this ride is rolling on a fabulous combo set of US-Mags wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. These all connect to Rust’No’More chassis and a fiberglass body sitting on top. Other additional upgrades to this vehicle include: Aluminum rod 3 core speedway, Pete & Jake frontend, SoCal gas tank, Disc brakes, and Muffler headers. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1932 Ford Sedan Delivery

Engine: 355 CID V8
Transmission: TH350 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 158 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Atlanta Showroom is a steel body 1932 Ford Sedan Delivery. An original Barry Lobeck built hot rod for sale, this '32 has a provenance that's hard to beat. This little 32 Sedan Delivery for sale was spared at no expense and shows, in the quality of this build! Built for show and go, this monster of a '32 Ford has just about everything you could ever want in a hot rod. With only 158 miles on the complete odometer, it's barely broken in and is ready for the show circuit or any late night cruise! Powering the hot rod is a stunning 355 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 engine. Starting life as your standard 350 Chevy, this engine was then bored .030 over and dressed with more goodies than you can shake a stick at. When hearing the gear drive whine and the gasp' of the Edelbrock dual-quads opening up, you can tell that this Ford means business. The coated headers run through a dual exhaust system that's music to any car enthusiasts ears. Backing that small block is a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. Nothing says custom hot rod for sale like a 350/350 engine/tranny set-up! The transmission churns the power down to a built Ford 9" rear end with coil-overs and ladder bars. With 3.50 gears, it's the right mix of street cruising manners and street bruising launches. The power is put to the pavement through a set of staggered aluminum/alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich performance radial tires. With all of this power and GO, you're going to need some STOP too! SoCal ordered Wilwood disc brakes sit up front while polished finned drums poke out from beneath the deep dish wheels. With a suspension this nice, you need an exterior to match. The body is an all steel beauty, with a stunning Black paint job. Walking around this '32 Ford for sale, you see all the elegant and subtle touches, like custom mirrors, louvered 3-piece steel hood, and tasteful pinstriping. You know you have a one-off show piece when you have a vehicle that looks equally as good in "black-and-white" as it does in color. The interior is so simplistic, it's almost modern. The Stewart Warner gauges are gorgeous and luxurious, especially when added to the custom gauge cluster. The woodgrain pieces make the cab feel warm and cozy. The suede leather bucket seats are matched throughout the cab with a deep and rich brown hide. The smell alone, is almost intoxicating. Options on this 1932 Ford for sale, include: A/C, cassette, cruise control, power windows, tilt/telescopic wheel, keyless entry, leather interior, and aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires. Its amazing to have such a minimalistic approach to a hot rod, yet still be adorned with such high quality parts and amenities. Simply put, this car is an outright show winner and is ready to take home the gold! 1933 Ford Sedan Delivery

1933 Ford Sedan Delivery

Engine: 350 CID V8 LT1
Transmission: Turbo 350
Mileage: 23,036 ( undocumented )

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an extremely interesting and well built 1933 Ford Sedan Delivery street rod. Finished in stunning red with wide white wall tires at first glance this may look like a standard '33, but look closer and you'll see nearly every part has been customized. The body is a all steel and was 1 of under 2,000 Sedan Deliverys made in '33. The paint is Ferrari Testarossa Red and has been beautifully applied. You'll notice the advertisement for "Mortland's Auto Body" on the side, and that's the shop that took care of the paint for this '33. The lettering is real gold leaf and may contain a small fortune right there on the side of the truck. The front windshield is functional and tilts out for nice ventilation. In addition, all glass is amber tinted safety glass. The rear mounted exterior trunk is a nice classic touch, but if it is not your style, the trunk and bracket can be easily removed. The chrome wire wheels are a great look especially with the new set of Coker Classic wide white wall tires. The beating heart of this '33 is a 1970 LT-1 350 CID V8 which is rated at 370 BHP. The engine was overhauled in 2006 and since has traveled just over 23,000 miles. Of course the power plant is dressed up with all the goodies: Endurashine carburetor, custom valve covers, chrome lines and fittings, and custom air cleaner. Backing the 350 is a Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission which runs to an 8" Ford rear end with 2.73 final drive ratio. This Ford was set up to drive across the country and has done just that a few times. Inside you'll be nice and comfortable sitting on front leather bucket seats. Crank up the stereo and the Vintage Air A/C unit and arrive in style and comfort. The dash is well laid out with everything you'll need including gauges by Classic Instruments, custom machined dash panels, and a very nifty steering wheel. Mounted to a tilt column, the Flaming River billet steering wheel can be removed without any tools as a simple yet effective theft deterrent. The rear section of the truck has been nicely upholstered with storage in the floor which includes a hidden spare wheel. This street rod is sure to stand out among the simpler builds and is already a multi-trophy winner. The best part is how well documented the vehicle has been since being restored. Engine specs, suspension details, brake details, even right down to gaskets and hoses used have all been recorded so the new owner can keep this rod maintained without all the guess work. The Sedan Delivery was very well thought out and really must be seen to appreciate. You can view this Ford in greater detail, including HD video, at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please call 618-271-3000 with any questions.

1933 Pontiac Sedan

1933 Pontiac Sedan

Engine: Straight 8
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 13,464 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this cool 1933 Pontiac Sedan. Pontiac was introduced in 1926 as the companion marque to GM’s Oakland division. Within months of its introduction Pontiac was outselling the Oakland division leading to their demise in 1932. 1933 would be a very successful year for Pontiac with their new extended line-up and the popular entry level inline 8 for under 600 dollars. This 33 is as original as I have seen. Purchased in 1933 by a doctor who left it to his son which was then placed in storage where it would sit until A man in South Carolina would buy it and massage it back to running order. With the car showing 13464 on the odometer and branded actual on the title this truly is a one of a kind find. With all the panels original to the car this is one of the straightest examples you will find. Repainted back to its original black the car looks amazing and shows extremely well. Naturally with the paint being so slick and smooth the chrome had to be sent off to be replated giving the car a finished and polished look. The white walls are exactly what you would expect from a car of this era and look right at home on this pre-war car. Look inside and the interior compliments the exterior perfectly. Although it has been redone it was restored using the original style fabric and looks as good as the rest of the car. The vent windows work and are fully functional making this a great car for a spring cruise. If you have ben looking for an original style pre-war car that is just a little different this Pontiac must be on the top of your list. Options on this 1933 Pontiac Sedan include, Cloth Interior, Bias Ply Tires, Wire Wheels and Wide White Walls. This 1933 Pontiac Sedan is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. I can imagine taking this one out for a perfect Sunday cruise or hanging out on the foot board being chased by the police after a 1930 bank robbery in the movies! This car is owner stated all original parts, has not rust, no bondo, no dents. The condition of the glass is very good just like everything else on this car. Just take a look at the pictures and you will see a car that is impeccably restore to an extremely high level. The wheels are powder coated and are a great compliment to the woodgrain colored leather interior. The Series CA Master replaced the 1933 Eagle midway through the model year when the 1933 Standard model (Series CC) was introduced. Several changes were made to the Eagle when the name was changed to Master. The easiest to identify is the post between the front door wing windows and the roll down windows. On the Eagle the chrome divider between these two windows goes down as the window goes down, whereas on the Master this divider remains fixed and does not go down with the window. Options include: hub caps, leather interior, and wire wheels. To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1937 Dodge Sedan

1937 Dodge Sedan

Engine: 6 Cylinder Inline
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 99,515 ( actual )

Completely restored and ready for a Sunday cruise! This 1937 Dodge Sedan originally made for “Young business executives”, is brought back to its former glory and would make a perfect around town driver. Back in 1937 when the Dodge brothers released this stunning sedan, the world was going through big changes. Henry Ford had just initiated the 32 hour work week, Amelia Earhart disappeared over the Pacific Ocean, and the tragic event of the Hindenburg exploding mid-flight killing 36 people. It was truly a different time and when you get in this old Dodge, you can almost picture what it must have been like to live in such an era. Slide into the front seat of the car across the mohair interior and take hold of the larger than life steering wheel to compensate for the lack of power steering. Around the windows and across the dash you will find craftsmanship of what you may find with a fine watch. The wood grained style paired with the metal trim rings around the gauges is difficult to beat. Now it’s time to start it up; simply press the turn the key, press the clutch in, pull the choke out a bit, adjust your throttle, and press on the starter button near your accelerator. The inline six cylinder engine that came with the car some 90 years ago comes to life! Let it warm up and press in your choke again. Now you are ready to really start enjoying your cruise. Put the gear lever in first and release the clutch, and enjoy the smooth ride that comes with owning a Dodge. One of the biggest claims they made when the car was new that it will save you money on fuel on your commute. That may not necessarily be true anymore, but what it lacks in fuel economy it makes up for in excitement! If it feels as if it is getting a little stuffy in the cabin, reach to the center of the dash and turn the knob to tilt the windshield out giving you a refreshing breeze of outside air. This old Dodge is the perfect weekend cruiser and will be a huge homerun like one you would have seen out of Babe Ruth when this car was new. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1937 Dodge Sedan in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars here in Houston is this beautiful 1940 Ford 2-door sedan. Powered by the legendary 350 CID V8 small block Chevrolet v8 engine mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. This awesome driving machine has only covered 2,000 miles since the build was completed. The exterior of the vehicle is done in a gorgeous, vibrant red with custom pinstriping. The cabin is a lovely place to sit and features excellently finished cloth and leather seats, AM/FM radio, seat belts and most importantly for those hot summer days, air conditioning. This one is easy to maneuver around tight parking lots and heavy traffic, thanks to its modern power brakes and power steering. The combination of all of these features and the fact that it came from California, really brings up the desirability level to 10. A high flat-topped hood dominated the front look of the 1940 model, as the grille spread out to reach the fenders to differentiate the Deluxe line and the headlights were pushed wider still. The standard Ford inherited the grille of the 1939 model with blackout on each side of a heavy chrome center; heavier headlight surrounds serve as another major differentiator from the 1939. 1940 was the last year of the 1937 design. Sealed-beam headlights were one of the few major advances for 1940, while a hydraulic top was new on the convertible. The 1937-1940 generation of Fords is one of the most popular automobiles for hot rodding. Early stock car racing drivers also used Fords of this generation among other cars. This Ford also formed the basis for a style of dirt track racing car. Don’t miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this one. 1955 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery

1955 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 11,611 ( since rebuilt )

Now featured in our Denver showroom is this wildly custom 1955 Chevrolet Delivery that is ready to be driven, shown, and enjoyed! There are many custom and tastefully modified touches to this car, but to start we will go immediately to the drivetrain. Both the 350 cubic inch small block V8 and the 700R4 automatic transmission have fresh rebuilds with only 1,000 miles since completion. The 350 is fed by a 600 cfm Edelbrock carb that was put on new when the engine was completed and letting it breathe is a full 2 1/2” exhaust system running the length of the car. To keep it cool even on those hot summer days, an aluminum radiator was installed and a 16” electric fan attached for added performance and reliability. Connected to the rebuilt 700R4 transmission is a Lokar shift for a solid transition between gear selections and a look to match the custom interior. Going all the way to the rear of the car is a Ford 9” rear end equipped with a very streetable 3.73 gear ratio especially with the overdrive gear. Stopping this car is a set of four-wheel power disc brakes and, combined with the Colorado custom wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires, can bring it to a stop in a hurry! Some other options that make it an excellent cruiser include a Vintage Air AC system, power steering, power seats, AM/FM radio with CD player, keyless entry, back up camera, and digital gauges. When you pop the door using your key fob and slide in, you will be impressed with all of the custom touches ranging from subtle to very apparent. The custom seats hug you and are much more comfortable than the stock option. Included in the custom center council is a Pyle touch screen head unit that makes it very easy to see your surroundings when backing up or change the station. There was no expense sparred on this build and it shows everywhere you look. The paint and body work is absolutely stunning; you could spend 20 minutes walking around the car and noticing subtle changes and details that you miss at first glance. Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 139,773 ( actual )

If you enjoy a long comfortable cruise and want to feel as if you’re gliding on air while doing so, then this is the vehicle for you. In 1964, it was time for another facelift to the De Ville series, this was a very minor one though. They decided to have a bi-angular grille that formed a V-Shape along both its vertical and horizontal planes. The main horizontal grille bar, now carried itself around the body sides as well. Cadillac continued to rock the classic “tailfins” which so many have become accustomed too, with a new fine-blade design carrying on the tradition. The major change to this year model came in its engine compartment, now sporting a hefty 8-Cyl 429 CID motor, creating approximately 340 HP. The interior of this classic Cadillac is roomy yet elegant with its detail in chrome on the dash setting off the black and white color scheme. Finally, when cruising around in this jolly-big-body you’ll need a way to keep cool. Don’t worry, as this vehicle comes with factory A/C unit that still works and blows cold. Options for this 1964 Cadillac Sedan Deville include: A/C, AM Radio, Spare Tire and Jack, Power Breaks, Power Steering, Power Seats, Power Windows, Seat Belts, Cloth and Vinyl Interior, and White Wall Tires.
