Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis was proud to offer a Cobalt Blue 1936 Chevrolet Sedan street rod. This stunning street rod is a complete build which has been tastefully upgraded. The front end has been swapped out for a modern front end with coil springs and rack and pinion steering. Front disc brakes also help with safety as well as a dual master with power booster. Power steering also helps with drivability. The engine is a 350 CID Chevy small block with some light alterations such as headers, and some chrome dress up items. Backing this is a TH350 transmission and a Ford 9" rear end. In all four corners it has brand new wheels and tires. The body is beautifully finished in cobalt blue with ghost flames on the front end. This color is sure to stand out in a crowd. The interior is a bit more subtle with gray cloth upholstery all around. The dash has a custom Shark gauge cluster and the AC controls. A tilt column helps drivers of all sizes get comfortable. Nicely integrated into the headliner is the stereo and power window controls. Hit a button under the dash to pop the trunk which uniquely opens to the side to allow plenty of room to load in baggage. The rod has updated lighting all around with chrome headlamps up front with integrated turn signals. The rear has LED brake lights which are nice and bright. This is a sharp looking ride with plenty of modern features. You can see this 1936 Chevrolet Sedan in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1940 Ford Standard Coupe. If you want to get into the car scene here is a great way jump in with both feet. A 350 motor and automatic transmission means you will enjoy the driving experience with one great looking classic body. The brakes have been upgraded to disk in the front for sure stopping power. A high flat-topped hood dominated the front look of the 1940 model, as the grille spread out to reach the fenders to differentiate the Deluxe line and the headlights were pushed wider still. The standard Ford inherited the grille of the 1939 model with blackout on each side of a heavy chrome center; heavier headlight surrounds serve as another major differentiator from the 1939. 1940 was the last year of the 1937 design and its smaller V8 engine, with a straight-six engine to be reintroduced the following year. Sealed-beam headlights were one of the few major advances for 1940. Options include: AC, power brakes, power steering, front seat belts, tilt wheel, aluminum wheels, and radial tires.
