The Atlanta Showroom is offering this 1968 Ford Torino GT. This SportsRoof 302 Torino has a 3-speed automatic transmission and an original feel. In 1968 Ford Motor Company introduced its intermediate line with a new body and new styling. Along with the new body and styling came a new subseries in the Fairlane line, the Torino. Styling was all new for the 1968 Fairlane/Torino, and it was drastically changed from the 1967 models. The new intermediate had grown in size and weight, and a new fastback model was added. The front fascia featured a full width recessed grille, with horizontal quad headlights placed at the outer edges. Horizontal dividing bars were featured in the grille depending on the model. Parking lights were placed at the outer edge of the front fenders and wrapped around the corner to also act as side marker lights (a new requirement in 1968). The body sides were smooth with one horizontal body crease running just below the beltline from front to back. The taillights were rectangular in shape and vertically situated in the rear panel above rear bumper. Reverse lights were located in the middle of the taillights, and small side marker lights were located on the rear edge of the quarter panel. Fastback models, which Ford called "SportsRoof," featured a slightly concaved rear taillight panel unique to that body style. The new SportsRoof body style featured a gently sloped long roof line that extended to the edge of the trunk lid. This new fastback body style gave the Fairlane and the Torino excellent aerodynamics that would later prove to be advantageous on the race track. Options include: AC, Hub caps, radial tires, seat belts, and vinyl interior. This To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this 1981 Mercedes Benz 380SL. For Sale in our Atlanta showroom is this 1981 Mercedes Benz 380SL. Mercedes Benz revamped its SL lineup of sporting luxury convertibles with the introduction of the 380SL. The 380 was a further development of the R107 chassis, which was first used in 1972 by the 350SL, and then later by the 450SL. Like its forebears, the 380SL was a heady mix of V8 power, refined luxury, and sporty underpinnings, and it was a very popular model during its run in the US. The 380SL, so named for it’s 3.8L V8, had a smaller engine than the 450SLand was consequently 120 pounds lighter. This is a nicely restored low mileage vehicle looks as good as it sounds. It is silver with a grey interior. It is loaded with usual features in an 80’s Mercedes. The engine was rebuilt with less than 150m miles since the rebuild. Its fresh paint is PPG with Matrix European Clearcoat. It also comes with a hardtop, a stand for the hardtop, a fitted cover for the car. Come see it and take home and enjoy the top down in this beautiful weather. It may not be here long. For sale in our Atlanta showroom is this 1963 Chevrolet Corvette. The 1963 Corvette Sting Ray not only had a new design, but also newfound handling prowess. The Sting Ray was also a somewhat lighter Corvette, so acceleration improved despite unchanged horsepower. For the 1963 model, production was divided almost evenly between the convertible and the new coupe - and more than half the convertibles were ordered with the optional lift-off hardtop. Nevertheless, the coupe wouldn't sell as well again throughout the Sting Ray years. New for the 1963 model year was an optional electronic ignition, the breakerless magnetic pulse-triggered Delcotronic, first offered by Pontiac on some 1963 models. This non-numbers matching 4 speed Corvette would make a good driver or one to restore back to showroom condition. Red convertible Corvette, what else do you need. The only thing it is missing is you in the driver’s seat! To view the car in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
