Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia welcomes you to check out this fantastic Black with Red Leather interior 1982 Corvette. This Corvette has 28,400 original miles. For 1982, the 5.7 liter (350 CID) Cross-Fire Fuel Injection V8 and an automatic were your only options available from Chevy. Chevrolet would give this engine the RPO code of L83. It seemed to make sense since from 1975 until 1980 the L82 4-bbl 350 CID V8 which was rated at between 205 to 230 horsepower was Corvette’s high-performance motor option.. You can imagine the heartache this must have caused for most Corvette fans. They always had a manual available except for the early first generation Corvette which had a mandatory 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. These were scary times for performance enthusiasts to be sure. The future was uncertain. With emissions and fuel economy forcing Detroit to put the lid on performance cars in general. No one had any idea of the performance cars that would l produce years later. This Corvette is equipped nicely with power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt wheel and t tops. It also has an AM FM stereo, radial tires and AC. We have a 1988 Mustang GT in stock at our PHILLY STORE. In August 1986, the Mustang received a facelift for the 1987 model year on both the interior and exterior. The front end was restyled to look more like the SVO which gave the car more of an "Aero" look, in keeping with Ford's overall modern styling direction. The interior received an all new dash, center console and revised seat and door trim. With the SVO discontinued, models were now pared down to LX and GT. Taillights on the GT now wore specific body-colored triple louvered lenses. The quarter glass windows lost their louvers and now sported a single larger flush piece of glass lettered with "Mustang" at the bottom rear corners. GTs featured new round fog lamps and gained aerodynamic lower bodyside skirting and new turbine style 15-inch (380 mm) wheels. This is an original Mustang in excellent condition. It has been maintained very well and recently refurbished with a new headliner, radiator, starter, AC hoses and valve cover gaskets. This is one of only 3747 1988 Mustangs produced with T-Tops. The exterior is Black, and the interior is Medium Gray Cloth with Articulated sports seats. The engine is the 5.0 Liter that was made famous in the Mustang. It is backed up by a 5 speed transmission and a Traction Loc rear. This 1988 Mustang also has AM FM premium sound, Speed control, rear defroster and illuminated vanity mirrors. It also features power windows and locks. This pony is very well equipped. The Ford Fairlane was a favorite of Henry Ford. The name came from his estate outside Dearborn Michigan. It was known as Fair Lane. Just like his mansion it was the top of the Ford lineup. The Fairlane name stood for a certain level of luxury and comfort. Minor trim changes were introduced for 1967 as the Fairlane was mildly facelifted. This one is a four door. It is Turquoise Frost with matching interior. In 1967 the 289 CID small-block became the base V8. It is also equipped with an automatic transmission The 1967 Fairlanes also included a number of federal government-mandated safety features, including a new energy-absorbing steering column with a large padded steering wheel hub, soft interior trim, four-way hazard flashers, a dual-chamber braking system, and shoulder belt anchors. This car will take you back to the 60s in a flash. This is a clean, cool old car that will be a blast to drive around in. Gateway Classic Cars offers this 1980 Ford Shay. The Shay is a reproduction of the 1928 / 1929 Ford Model A. These cars were manufactured by the Shay Motor Company and were distributed by the Ford dealer network. Orders were taken by Ford dealers starting in 1978. The build was limited to 10,000 vehicles to avoid federal regulations. The original plan was for this to be the first of a classic series that would feature a different model each year. Built on the frame of a Pinto, the cars also shared a common powertrain the 2.3ltr 4 cylinder and automatic transmission. The Shay is a unique vehicle. It is not a Pinto and it is not a model A. They have developed a strong following over the years and even have a club of enthusiasts. It is a fun to own and a fun to drive car that can be bought for a modest price. You will have a hard time finding a car that will draw as much attention for the dollar as the Shay will. This one is finished in an Antique Cream with black vinyl interior. Side mounted spare tires and tall wide white wall tires give it the period correct look.
