1933 Plymouth Tudor

Engine: ZZ4 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 67,961 ( actual )

This award-winning steel-body (fiberglass fenders) 1933 Plymouth Tudor is now for sale and viewing at our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom. If you've traveled the classic car show circuit, you may have run into this 1933 Plymouth at some point in time. The present owner bought it in 2011 Sugarland, Texas where it was built, but before that time and thereafter it has been entered and won many awards for its build and beauty. Even though her current body finish is closing on at being at least a decade old, the Vanilla Ice paint on the all-steel body (fiberglass finders) is still holding and showing very well. There are no unsightly chips, scratches, or dents anywhere on the exterior. The suicide doors open and close tight, and the widows roll up and down smoothly. The interior is composed of a dark plum, that is borderline purple and is color-coordinated with the wire coverings inside the engine compartment and the fancy decor on the outer-body. The woodgrain dash alongside the plum vinyl and fabric gives this 1933 Plymouth Tudor a classic look and feel. It is very clean on the inside and does not have any noticeable stains, tears, or odors. Underneath the hood is a 350 Chevrolet ZZ4 engine with 355 Horsepower. It also has a HEI distributor, GM performance dual plain intake, aluminum heads, and a camshaft hydraulic roller. The transmission is an automatic 200 r-4 optional over-drive, with an 8" Ford rear-end with 3:55 gears. For driving it has a Mustang II front clip with power rack and pinion steering and recently installed Monroe shocks. The brakes are front disc and rear drum. For smooth efficiency an Edelbrock Performer 750 CFM Carburetor with a high-performance fuel pump has been installed. 1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe

1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe

Engine: 6 Cylinder Flathead
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 30,458 ( actual )

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this 1947 Plymouth Special De luxe. The Plymouth De Luxe was produced from 1946 to 1950, with the top trim line being the Special De Luxe model. The first post war Plymouth Deluxe rolled off the assembly line on October 22, 1945, at the dealership people arrived in droves to get their name on the list for a brand new car. Plymouth literature claimed there were 50 updates on their post-war model that improved upon the pre-war model. For the 1946-48 model years the 3.6L Inline Six was boosted to 95hp. This engine was produced from the 1920’s to the 1970’s, proving that if it isn’t broke you shouldn’t fix it this long lived engine became a Legendary motor. Plymouth’s tag line during this post-war era was “Outside and in, it’s a completely new Plymouth. Compare it feature for feature. Sit in it. Ride in it. Drive it. Then you’ll surely agree.” This car cruises down the road with the best of them, and represents an era for Chrysler where they put function before style. Reliability and function were on the forefront of design, Chrysler President wanted a consumer to be able to sit bolt-upright wearing a hat comfortably while he drove down the road. The Plymouth is a perfect example of 1940’s practicality its comfortable, spacious, smooth idling engine, built to withstand the wear and tear of use. This 1947 Plymouth Deluxe P2-10 for sale is in our Indianapolis Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe

1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe

Engine: 218 CID I6
Transmission: 3-Speed Manual
Mileage: 37,966 ( actual )

For sale in our Nashville, TN show room is this well built 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe. The Plymouth Deluxe was a full-sized automobile, produced by Plymouth from 1946-1950. It came in two trim levels, the Deluxe and the top-of-the-line Special Deluxe. As the war in Europe wound down, the U.S. government slowly began allowing the automobile industry to return to the car-making business. It had been four years since any new cars had been built, and those cars still on the road were beginning to show their age. Plymouth's new models for 1946 were once again offered in two series, the P15S Deluxe and P15C Special Deluxe. Deluxe body styles included a four-door sedan, two-door sedan, club coupe, and business coupe. Waiting lists were common at dealerships. Those wanting a new car placed their name, and often a cash deposit, with the dealer. Customers hoped that as new cars became available. The first post-war Plymouth, a P15S Deluxe, came off the line October 22, 1945. Special Deluxes would follow four days later. Bodies for the P15 Plymouths were virtually unchanged from 1942, with only minor trim differences. Engineering magic greets you right from the start. You don’t grope for a starter button or pedal. You don’t pull on a choke. You simply turn the ignition key- and the engine starts. Plymouth literature claimed fifty improvements over the prewar cars; many were of little significance but were changes nonetheless. Mechanically there were few changes. The 217 ci engine stayed the same and was still rated at 95 hp, attained at 3600 rpm instead of 3400 rpm. An economy engine package using a smaller intake manifold and carburetor with 1 inch bore returned to the option list. Aluminum pistons replaced the cast iron ones that had been mandated during the war. Like many vendors, Carter couldn't supply enough of their model D6G 1 carburetors to meet Plymouth's production demands; Stromberg, which normally supplied Ford, provided its model 3-84 carburetor. Replacing the disposable oil filter was a new cleanable canister that contained a replacement cartridge. This is what we call a great survivor, repainted and ready for the road. If you would like to see more of this 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe or have any questions, please call us down at the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or visit us on the web at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NSH/790/1950-Plymouth-Special-Deluxe

1964 Plymouth Belvedere

1964 Plymouth Belvedere

Engine: 426 Cross Ram Hemi
Transmission: 833 4 Speed
Mileage: 100 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1964 Plymouth Belvedere with a period correct 426 Cross-ram HEMI is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Belvedere name was first used on the new Hardtop body style on the Cranbrook line in 1951. In 19654 it replaced the Cranbrook as the top trim level and became a full model line with sedans, wagons, and convertibles all adorning the nameplate. It would go on as Plymouth’s full-sized car until 1965 when it became the intermediate until being abandoned all together after 1970. What most people will remember about the Belvedere however is it was the first production vehicle to come from the factory with the now legendary 426 HEMI. It is believed that only 35 legal street cars were produced making these cars one of the rarest MOPAR’s to ever leave the assembly line. An original Wedge car was found in AZ and hauled back to KY for its 4-year six figure build. The body of the car was straight and rust free, so minimal body work was required. Painted in the classic white paint this jewel is guaranteed to be in style long after were gone. The real deal aluminum hood is a highly sought-after piece that took quote some time to source. Under that huge hood scoop is really what we are here to talk about, the elephant in the room if you will, and I mean that literally. The engine was pieced together after many years of research from the original aluminum cross ram intake to the chrome valve covers this 426 is a real deal 12.5:1 ground pounding monster. The Carter carbs were not used as the Holley’s are considered to be a much more reliable setup and are the ones used on the 4-barrel model. With all that power to tame a bullet proof transmission was needed and just like in 64 the 833 4-speed was the go to piece. The rear-end would see the same consideration with an 8.75 rear being used but with a very respectable 3.55 being instead of the 4.56 that were found on most of these drag strip killers. The interior was the last piece of the puzzle but after 3 years the build was coming to an end. The bench seat upfront is exactly what you would you have seen in 1964 with the 4-speed shifter hugged up close and personal to the driver’s leg. It would prove to be the perfect position with your hand almost naturally falling right on to the handle you really couldn’t ask for anything better. The blue vinyl is correct and what should be in a 64 although the factory racers used van bucket seats. All in all, if you want one of the most radical production cars to ever leave Detroit this 64 Belvedere is it. Options on this 1964 Plymouth Belvedere with a Cross ram Hemi Include, Vinyl/Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Hub Caps and Radial Tires on the front with a set of Bias Ply drag slicks on the back. This 1964 Plymouth Belvedere is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1966 Plymouth Belvedere

Engine: 572 HEMI
Transmission: 727 John Cope
Mileage: 14,958 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this awesome 1966 Plymouth Belvedere Nostalgia Super Stock. Nostalgia Super Stock is a category of drag racing that recreates the glory days of the 60’s. Starting back in the mid 80’s there were quite a few guys beginning to revive the spirit of the original era which led to the class being formed. This 66 is a fitting example of what these cars are all about. No fancy ECU’s collecting data for the next hit or controlling spark and fuel mixtures on this beast. Just plain and simple raw power with the driver trying to get it to the ground. This 66 was a great car when started with the body in an excellent condition the attention was directed to the heart of the MOPAR. Built by Muscle Motors in Lansing MI, the 572 CI HEMI is a force to be contended with. Putting out a ground shaking 800 HP standing next to this behemoth at idle is something every gearhead needs to experience. With those massive Hemi heads taking up so much space it takes a couple looks to figure out how that got so much engine under that hood. With the cross-ram intake sitting on top getting enough fuel to this animal is the least of your worries. Built by John Cope the reverse manual valve body 727 trans is exactly what you would expect in such a build. Getting power to the ground is the bullet proof Dana 60 rear end which has been filled with a set of Moser 40 splined axles. The 4.56 gear set will get this MOPAR down the ¼ mile perfectly. The cage has been certified and meets the NHRA standards for nostalgia super stock with the fit being one of the best I have seen. The Gary Ball Super Stock interior is clean and what should be in the car keeping it as close to the real deal as possible. With a build expense into the 6 figures and only 20 passes on the car this would be an excellent way to get into one of the most competitive and coolest classes of drag racing there is. Options on this 1966 Plymouth Belvedere Nostalgia Super Stock include, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Bias Ply Drag Tires on the rear and Radial tires on the front. This 1966 Plymouth Belvedere is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this 1966 Plymouth Belvedere to our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! Mileage: 82,506 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer super nice 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible. The second-generation Barracuda, now a 108 in wheelbase A-body, still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly redesigned with model-specific sheet metal, and a convertible and hardtop coupe joining the original fastback offering. In 1967, while the 225 cu in slant-6 was still the base engine, the V8 options ranged from the two- and four-barrel versions of the 273 cu in to a seldom-ordered 383 cu in "B" big-block, rated at 280 bhp which was only available only with the Formula S package. It even looks like its from the factory. Backing the rebuilt 440 is a new automatic transmission that only has about 500 miles on it. To bring this healthy big cubic inch 440 back down to a halt, disc brakes have been added to the front. 1967 Plymouth Belvedere

1967 Plymouth Belvedere

Engine: 440 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this very nice 1967 Plymouth Belvedere. Merriam-Webster defines ‘Belvedere’ as “A structure designed to command a view”. This old school 2-door is not only a beautiful sight to behold, but it’s also packed chock full of horsepower with a very healthy, ground-thumping 440 cubic-inch Chrysler big block V8. The Comp Cams .509/.509 lift and 247/254 duration cam gives it an unforgettable heartbeat that gets your adrenaline going almost as fast as the car. A 3-speed automatic 727 Torqueflite transmission equipped with a 2,800-rpm stall convertor gives a good launch and delivers the raw power to the rear axle with ease. The rear end contains a 4.11 gear ratio to complete the perfect trio for proper acceleration. Polar White paint covers the exterior of this car, standing up to the definition of its name, Belvedere, better than expected. This car may sound hot, but aesthetically it truly is cooler than cool, it’s ice cold! Try to avoid frost bite as you reach for the door handle. Open the door up and be welcomed to a fantastic black vinyl interior in excellent condition. The nicely kept cabin provides a smooth old-school look and feel that really brings you back to 1967. A modern radio brings a high-quality sound to an already great sounding car, but why anybody would want to listen to today’s drama over the deep rumble of this beastly engine is beyond me. This classic Mopar is the kind of car that you can race to the grocery store, or cruise to the drag strip. Options include: Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, and Vinyl Interior. For more information on this sweet 1967 Plymouth Belvedere, contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II

1967 Plymouth Belvedere II

Engine: 360 CID V8 Magnum
Transmission: 727 Torque Flite
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

This very beautiful 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. From the outside, this Belvedere II has a survivor look of a car that has been basically maintained through its many years of life. The exterior paint shows some wear with a few touch ups here and there. These particular types of cars have gained in popularity in the last few years. A set of American Torque Thrust wheels have been added to dress up the Belvedere a bit, but if you want more of a sleeper look, then the stock steel wheels are in the trunk. The wheels have been colored match to the match the car and there is a set of “dog dish” hub caps to finish off the stock look. Inside the interior looks stock with only minimal wear here and there. No trailer Queen here, just a nice solid reliable driver that will bring loads of fun to the new driver. Get a little scratch in the paint job, no big deal, it happens! Now under the hood is a slightly different story. The original engine has been replaced with a Mopar 360 V8 crate engine. A quick turn of the key, the engine roars to life with a nice lopey idle. Options on this 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II include; AM/FM Radio (needs work), Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior and Aluminum Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX

1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX

Engine: 440 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 84,459 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas presents this sharp example of one of the most sought-after muscle cars in automobile history, a Number's Matching 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX! Chrysler had one thing in mind when they designed the GTX, the perfect combination of style and performance. Known as the “Gentleman’s Muscle Car,” the GTX debuted in 1967 on the Belvedere platform and proved to be Plymouth’s first “unified performance model.” As featured on this fine vehicle, simulated hood scoops gave the hood an aggressive appearance while a unique grill and rear panel gave it a touch of sporty class. A “pit stop” gas cap conveyed the relationship Chrysler had in the NASCAR Grand National Series with Richard Petty as their star driver for Plymouth. Petty would go on to win a record 27 races that year as well as his second championship in the Plymouth Belvedere. While this isn’t a race car, it is a force to be reckoned with on the street powered by a 440 CID V8 engine, a potent power plant! Linked to a three-speed automatic transmission, this silver bullet fires across the road! Don’t forget about the interior of this Mopar! The spacious, sporty space features black bucket seats and a handsome center console that holds the chrome shifter. Embossed seats put the GTX over the rest of the competition while a wide rimmed steering wheel provides the perfect conduit to get this car where you need to go. Don’t waste any more time, take this car home today! Additional features are Rallye Wheels, Power Brakes and Power Steering. 1968 Plymouth Barracuda

1968 Plymouth Barracuda

Engine: 383 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 94,873 ( undocumented )

For sale in our Atlanta showroom is a second generation Plymouth Barracuda from 1968. The second-generation Barracuda, still shared many components with the Valiant but was stylishly redesigned with model-specific sheet metal, and a convertible and hardtop coupe joining the original fastback offering. The new Barracuda was chiefly the work of John E. Herlitz and John Samsen, with Coke-bottle side contours and heavily revised front and rear ends. Design cues included a concave rear deck panel, wider wheel openings, curved side glass, and S-curved roof pillars on the hardtop. Some points of interest with the 1968 Cudas were that the front and rear bumpers were identical, the rear portion of the roof on the fastback coupe was more streamlined, and the back glass, raked at a substantially horizontal angle, was much smaller compared with that of the previous model. Also, the use of chrome trim on the external sheet metal was more restrained. In 1968, while the 225 cu in (3.7 L) slant-6 was still the base engine, the V8 options ranged from the two- and four-barrel versions of the 273 cu in (4.5 L) to a seldom-ordered 383 cu in (6.3 L) "B" big-block, rated at 280 bhp (210 kW), the latter available only with the Formula S package. This Barracuda S comes with a Hensler Performance numbers matching rebuilt 383 and a 4 speed transmission,[non numbers matching trans] with just 500-miles on the motor since reinstalled. The dark Green exterior paint is in very good condition, shines brilliantly in the sun and contrasts nicely against the painted steel wheels with dog-dish hub caps. The black vinyl interior appears new and in great condition with only minimal signs of normal wear on the seat belts. The dash also shows no signs of sun fading or cracks. This Barracuda has power steering, and seatbelts. To view this 1968 Plymouth Barracuda in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1968 Plymouth Road Runner

1968 Plymouth Road Runner

Engine: 383 CID V8
Transmission: 4-Speed Manual
Mileage: 71,804 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars Philadelphia offers this iconic muscle car, a real 1968 Plymouth Road Runner at our showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! The concept of the biggest “bang for your buck” is thoroughly embodied by the Plymouth Road Runner as buyers got a whole lotta car for one heck of a price. The manufacturer was going after the youth market, a demographic that was previously not inclined to visit a Plymouth showroom. Plymouth Vice President Bob Anderson sought the advice of auto journalists to answer the big question, what kind of car would a young person buy? The answer was an affordable, stripped mid-sized performance car that had a recognizable, catchy name. Jack Smith, then manager of Plymouth’s B-Body planning group and the man behind the beep-beep, was watching a Saturday morning cartoon featuring the familiar coyote and road runner noting, “The cartoon character was hot off the line, it was fast, it never got beaten and could stop on a dime.” Well, after some deliberation and a lot of convincing, Plymouth launched the Road Runner in 1968 and it was met with remarkable success. Now available, you too can own this great car coated in a loud Omaha orange paint and sporty black hood stripes that pair beautifully with the sharp black vinyl top. This fast bird rumbles with numbers matching 383 CID V8 coupled to a four-speed manual transmission that shifts with ease. HEI ignition means you’re good to go in terms of spark and listen to that great “beep beep” horn! The car went through a fresh rotisserie restoration in April 2017, with a complete undercoating and has new chrome Magnum 500 wheels surrounded by some new rubber. Sit down on the comfortable black bench seat and enjoy some tunes coming from the Retrosound® Bluetooth stereo that sounds terrific. The interior features a new headliner, new carpet, door panels, armrests and package tray! The car has new hoses, mufflers, tailpipes, fuel and brake lines and a new gas tank! This Road Runner is ready to go! Are you able to outsmart it and tame the famed bird? Give us a call today and give that coyote a run for his money! 1969 Plymouth Road Runner

1969 Plymouth Road Runner

Engine: 440 CID V8
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual
Mileage: 50,765 ( undocumented )

One of the most iconic Mopar muscle cars of all time is the 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner in Vitamin C Orange. This car was originally built at the Lynch Road assembly plant in Detroit with a scheduled production date of April 26, 1969. Making it a 1969 ½ and one of 422 that were built with the 440-6bbl as well as an A833 4-Speed manual transmission. Do not let the cartoon bird on the car’s body panels fool you, this car means business and is not to be taken lightly. If cars could tell tales we are more than certain that any car that dared line up next to this one was sure to see a set of tail lights through its windshield in no time! The factory steel long quarter panels are ripple-free and still showcase that neat slash of relief along the upper edge. Panel gaps are good, and the monstrous hood scoop sits in the middle of a satin black hood designed to emulate the mighty A-12 cars that terrorized drag strips in late 1969. The interior is quite stock and while it emulates a no-frills attitude, the bench seat has a very handsome look. There's a 4-speed shifter sticking out of the floor so there's no weight-adding console to slow you down and it's topped with a proper pistol-grip handle! The factory gauges include an in-dash tachometer and work just as great as they work and serve almost as a glimpse into a time machine. What truly sets this Road Runner apart from other cars of its time is the numbers matching 440 cubic inch V8 punching out 390 horsepower. Topping off that power plant is the much sought after six pack. Inhaling through that giant scoop, the bright Hemi Orange torque factory looks ready for show and still retains the factory look. The 4-speed manual transmission feeds a bulletproof Dana 60 rear end, which houses a set of 4:00 gears. You can view this 1969 ½ Plymouth Road Runner in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
