1917 Ford Model T

1917 Ford Model T

Engine: 195CID I4
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 9,092 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1917 Model T roadster. Model T buckets are let’s face it, a lot of fun, with wind in your hair and the sun on your face and possibly a bug in your teeth what could be more fun? These light, nimble little roadsters come with a variety of drivetrains. Some prefer the brute force of a Chevy big block and well, it is hard to argue with a Rat motor. Others like the small block Chevy, with their ability to snap from 800 rpms to 4,500 in the blink of an eye. Still another choice is a Small block Ford, I know, who would want a Ford engine in a Ford body!? But how about this choice? A 4 cylinder out of a Pontiac Tempest? A 195 Cubic inch 4 cylinder with rear automatic transaxle and independent suspension to be exact! I would just bet that this will be the only T bucket at your local show with this drivetrain. This 1917 T bucket for sale is dripping black paint and sporting brass accents it has a look that is both familiar but a little different. Riding a little lower than most model T buckets this little roadster looks like it would cut corners with the best of them. So, a sharp T bucket with a unique drivetrain that looks great and handles like a dream, what’s to like about that? Just everything! I’ll take one to go please. Options include Hub caps, Seat belts, Wire wheel Radial tire and a detachable top. For more information on this 1917 T bucket for sale call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or send us an email nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NSH/537/1917-Ford-Model-T

1923 Ford Model T

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic
Mileage: 275 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1932 Ford T Bucket. This amazing little t bucket for sale is riding on a real 1923 Ford frame giving this car the real deal feel. What could be more fun than a t bucket on a nice day? A barrel of monkeys? I never understood the appeal of a bunch of monkeys in a barrel but I guess that’s just me. This ’23 t bucket for sale is a blast to drive. The peppy and almost new crate 350 CID V8 with less than 300 miles on it, sings the song of horsepower with a slight twist of the key, promising you a great time is just under your right foot. This Chevy 350 is packed with go fast goodies like a high-rise intake topped with a Holley® four barrel carburetor. An HEI distributor supplies all the sparking duties while chromed headers that lead into side pipes route the exhaust gases and supply the attitude in the way of decibels. Backing this mighty mouse is the work horse, turbo 400 3 speed automatic transmission providing firm shift and years and years of tire shredding fun. In the rear axle housing you will find a set of 3.08 gears and a posi- traction unit to make sure you don’t leave just one wimpy mark to prove you were there. With all this power you may be wondering if this old gal comes with drum brakes, no sir! Disc brakes all around to slow this 1923 Model T for sale. The list of new items includes: front tires, Mahogany steering wheel, Carpet and electric cool fan that come on with the key. Not a trick was missed so treat yourself with this car and maybe in the future people will say, “more fun than a barrel full of T buckets” but I doubt it. Options for this 1923 Model T bucket include: Wind in your hair, Wipers, Horn, Seat belts, turn signals and aluminum wheel wrapped in radial tires. 1925 Ford Model T

1925 Ford Model T

Engine: 177 CID I4
Transmission: 2-Speed Manual
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this extremely cool 1925 Ford Model T. Between the extensive powertrain work and original sheet metal, this car is a clean example of a Model T. Under the hood of this American icon is a 2.9-liter inline four cylinder engine that was good for roughly 20 horsepower when new. The engine was rebuilt roughly 75 miles ago and upgraded with a 12V distributor and battery to improve reliability and drivability. Although the car has been upgraded, the original coil box remains in the car. Sending what little power this car has to the rear wheels is a two speed manual transmission with a very unique shifting sequence. The transmission was also rebuilt with the engine. Moving inward, the interior of this car is barren with no modern amenities or luxuries. When this car was produced, it was meant to be a cheap means of transportation for the masses with little to no focus on comfort or styling. Although there are really no features to speak of, the condition of the interior on this T is very good. The exterior of this T is finsished in black to stay true to the only original color option. The paint is in good condition and highlights the cars curves and style. Laying beneath the paint is the original sheet metal from when the car was new almost 100 years ago. Overall the condition of this T is very nice and this would make an excellent weekend toy or parade car! 1926 Ford Model T

1926 Ford Model T

Engine: i4
Transmission: 2-Speed Manual
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this extremely cool 1926 Ford Model T. Between the extensive powertrain work and original sheet metal, this car is a clean example of a Model T. Under the hood of this American icon is a 2.9-liter inline four-cylinder engine that was good for roughly 20 horsepower when new. The engine is paired to a 2-speed planetary gear transmission and great for small town cruising. The engine and transmission were both rebuilt roughly 2,000 miles ago so there are plenty of miles left in the old beauty. The power that screams from this car is driven through the Ruxtell 2-speed rear axle and is stopped by the Rocky Mountain brakes. You may not compete against the Camaros, and Mustangs on the road but this very well may be one of the quicker Model T’s I’ve seen. Moving inward, the interior of this car is barren with no modern amenities or luxuries. When this car was produced, it was meant to be a cheap means of transportation for the masses with little to no focus on comfort or styling. The condition of the interior on this T is very good, and is no doubt aided in staying that way, because the car comes with with 100% accurate side curtains and tonneau cover. The exterior of this T is finished in black and green to keep a clean classic look. The paint is in very good condition and highlights the cars curves and style. Laying beneath the paint is the original sheet metal from when the car was new almost 100 years ago. Overall the condition of this T is very nice, and this would make an excellent weekend toy or parade car! 1926 Ford Model T

1926 Ford Model T

Engine: 4 Cylinder Flathead
Transmission: 2 Speed Manual
Mileage: 0 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to have this 1926 Ford Model T listed for sale. This complete frame up rebuild is turn key and ready to be enjoyed. This sharp Ford has been owned by the same owner for 30 years and claimed to be a 2-owner truck. After 90 years this original numbers matching engine and transmission are still trucking along. All new Ford parts have been installed on this truck with the exception of the frame, running gear, motor, transmission, wheels, and cab. The truck has recently been repainted black by Larry Hill and has been reassembled with mechanical work done by Charles Rosato. The black paint is matched with black leather interior, a black soft vinyl material, and black wheels. The style in the appearance is topped off by the wood bed and wooden steering wheel. This truck is perfect for someone who wants to own a piece of Ford history or even a beginner into the car show hobby. The fun part of the early automobile is the ability to manually adjust the timing and throttle right from the steering wheel. This truck is a manual controlled by the farthest left petal on the driver side floor board. The Model T was a rear-wheel drive vehicle. Its transmission was a planetary gear type billed as "three speed". In today's terms it would be considered a two-speed, because one of the three speeds was reverse. The Model T had a front-mounted 177-cubic-inch (2.9 L) inline four-cylinder engine, producing 20 hp (15 kW), for a top speed of 40–45 mph (64–72 km/h).[23] According to Ford Motor Company, the Model T had fuel economy on the order of 13–21 mpg US (16–25 mpg imp; 18–11 L/100 km).[24] The engine was capable of running on gasoline, kerosene, or ethanol,[25][26] although the decreasing cost of gasoline and the later introduction of Prohibition made ethanol an impractical fuel for most users. The engines of the first 2,447 units were cooled with water pumps; the engines of unit 2,448 and onward, with a few exceptions prior to around unit 2,500, were cooled by thermosiphon action. This truck has been rebuilt from the frame up and is ready to be cruised through the streets of your home town! Don’t miss out on a Model T truck that’s redone as nice as this one. This 1926 Ford Model T is up for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
