1931 Chevrolet Sedan

Engine: V-8 Small Block
Transmission: 3-Speed Auto
Mileage: 72623 ( undocumented )

Grab everyone's attention this Summer with this 1931 Chevy Sedan. The Chevrolet Series AE Independence was manufactured by Chevrolet in 1931 to replace the 1930 Series AD Universal. Production levels slipped during the Great Depression to 619,554 units, but Chevrolet actually outpaced rival Ford in 1931! The main change between the Series AE and the outgoing AD was a 2-inch longer wheelbase, now at 109”. It remained powered by the “Stovebolt Six” 194 cid inline 6-cylinder engine producing 50hp. This classic 1931 four-door sedan ups that ante with a 350 cubic-inch V8 mated to a Mustang II automatic, Mustang front-end suspension and 373 Posi rear end. The 350 power plant sports a polished aluminum intake & air cleaner, Accel distributor, dual exhaust and stainless gas tank. Additional features include manual rack & pinion steering, power brakes, attractive wire wheels and AM/FM/CB Radio. This is an older build with lots of chrome accessories, and could be driven as is or form a solid base to personally upgrade. This is a steel body car with fiberglass fenders. 1932 Ford Sedan

Engine: 401 Nailhead
Transmission: TH400
Mileage: 3500 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville proudly presents this awesome 1932 Ford Sedan Street Rod for sale. This ’32 Ford Sedan is definitely a throwback to way cooler times. While most modern-day street rods sport a Mustang II style front suspension, this old girl has a chromed solid drop axle and spindles. Steering is handled by a Schroeder side steer unit. The long steering rod has been drenched in chrome as well and really pops against the bright red sheet metal. The Sedan has been chopped 1 ½ inches and channeled another inch to give it a nice sleek and low look. Steel wheels have been color matched to the body, then dressed out with chromed center caps and beauty rings. The wheels have been wrapped in wide whitewall bias ply Firestone tires to finish off the classic 50’s hot rod look. Under the hood of this old school hot rod is a Buick 401 Nail Head engine. The engine has been dressed out with dual chrome weber carburetors, chrome intake, chrome Buick valve covers, and chromed lake style headers. The headers are bolted to set of stainless steel exhaust that tuck up nicely to the underside of the car. The rear end is a Winters Quick Change unit which again pays homage to the Hot rods of the 50’s and early 60’s. Inside the ’32 Ford Sedan is a 1940 Lincoln Zephyr dash. With the fit and finish, it looks like this dash came with the car. The pleated red and cream interior just screams 50’s era hot rod. Look closely though, they are a few modern amenities lurking on the inside. This ’32 Ford Sedan has a nice AM/FM radio with a CD player for your listening enjoyment. Look under the dash and you will notice a set of knobs for the AC. That’s right, this old school hot rod is equipped with Air Conditioning to keep you as cool as you will look when driving this beauty. The attention to detail and craftsmanship has made stunner an award winner. Most notable is the Goodguys/Dupont Hot Hues 2008 Hot Rod of the year. Options for this 1932 Ford Sedan Street Rod include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio with CD player, Tilt Steering Wheel, Wide Whitewall Bias ply tires with colored matched steel wheels. 1932 Ford Sedan

Engine: 350 CID V8
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 1561 ( since rebuilt )

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this timeless 1932 Ford 4 Door Sedan. This hot rod is powered by a 350-cubic inch GM crate engine that produces 290 horsepower. The motor was purchased new during the cars rebuild in 2016 and currently has just over 1,500 trouble-free miles on it. The transmission, a GM 700R4, was professionally rebuilt at the same time and feeds power into the 3.42:1 geared rear end that was taken out of a Chevy S10. These pieces are assembled to unite as one on a brand-new powder coated frame. When you need to test the front Wilwood brakes it is all sure to stop quickly. Once the all steel body was striped to the bare metal, it got a fresh base coat of black, only to be glazed over by a smooth, shiny clear coat to finish it off. To almost perfectly contrast the deep, dark exterior, the interior is finished in a sinister-looking red vinyl. It really takes this classic, yet modest looking hot rod to a whole new level. If hearing the healthy Small Block Chevy didn’t do enough for you, the red-in-black color scheme would make the humblest of ladies go nuts if they saw it driving down the street. While the battery is tucked out of sight to keep aesthetics high, a set of remote charging ports were installed under the frame, should you need a quick jump. This timeless, yet rarely seen 4 Door Sedan is ready to cruise the strip or hit the local car shows. Options include: Air Conditioning, Aluminum/Alloy Wheels, AM/FM Radio, CD, Power Brakes, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, Vinyl Interior. 1933 Pontiac Sedan

Engine: Straight 8
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual
Mileage: 13464 ( undocumented )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1933 Pontiac Sedan. Pontiac was introduced in 1926 as the companion marque to GM’s Oakland division. Within months of its introduction Pontiac was outselling the Oakland division leading to their demise in 1932. 1933 would be a very successful year for Pontiac with their new extended line-up and the popular entry level inline 8 for under 600 dollars. This 33 is as original as I have seen. Purchased in 1933 by a doctor who left it to his son which was then placed in storage where it would sit until A man in South Carolina would buy it and massage it back to running order. With the car showing 13464 on the odometer and branded actual on the title this truly is a one of a kind find. With all the panels original to the car this is one of the best examples you will find. Repainted back to its original black the car looks amazing and shows extremely well. Naturally with the paint being so slick and smooth the chrome had to be sent off to be replated giving the car a finished and polished look. The white walls are exactly what you would expect from a car of this era and look right at home on this pre-war car. Look inside and the interior compliments the exterior perfectly. Although it has been redone it was restored using the original style fabric and looks as good as the rest of the car. The vent windows work and are fully functional making this a great car for a spring cruise. If you have ben looking for an original style pre-war car that is just a little different this Pontiac must be on the top of your list. Options on this 1933 Pontiac Sedan include, Cloth Interior, Bias Ply Tires, Wire Wheels and Wide White Walls. This 1933 Pontiac Sedan is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. 1937 Dodge Sedan

Engine: 6 Cyl inline
Transmission: 3 Speed Manual Floor Shift
Mileage: 99515 ( actual )

Completely restored and ready for a Sunday cruise! This 1937 Dodge Sedan originally made for “Young business executives”, is brought back to its former glory and would make a perfect around town driver. Back in 1937 when the Dodge brothers released this stunning sedan, the world was going through big changes. Henry Ford had just initiated the 32 hour work week, Amelia Earhart disappeared over the Pacific Ocean, and the tragic event of the Hindenburg exploding mid-flight killing 36 people. It was truly a different time and when you get in this old Dodge, you can almost picture what it must have been like to live in such an era. Slide into the front seat of the car across the mohair interior and take hold of the larger than life steering wheel to compensate for the lack of power steering. Around the windows and across the dash you will find craftsmanship of what you may find with a fine watch. The wood grained style paired with the metal trim rings around the gauges is difficult to beat. Now it’s time to start it up; simply press the turn the key, press the clutch in, pull the choke out a bit, adjust your throttle, and press on the starter button near your accelerator. The inline six cylinder engine that came with the car some 90 years ago comes to life! Let it warm up and press in your choke again. Now you are ready to really start enjoying your cruise. Put the gear lever in first and release the clutch, and enjoy the smooth ride that comes with owning a Dodge. One of the biggest claims they made when the car was new that it will save you money on fuel on your commute. That may not necessarily be true anymore, but what it lacks in fuel economy it makes up for in excitement! If it feels as if it is getting a little stuffy in the cabin, reach to the center of the dash and turn the knob to tilt the windshield out giving you a refreshing breeze of outside air. This old Dodge is the perfect weekend cruiser and will be a huge homerun like one you would have seen out of Babe Ruth when this car was new. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1937 Dodge Sedan in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

1938 Chevrolet Sedan

Engine: 355 CID V8
Transmission: TH400
Mileage: 5000 ( since rebuilt )

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this cool 1938 Chevrolet Sedan Street Rod. As the nation climbed out of the depression in 38 promoted their vehicles as “The Car that Is Complete”. You could get one of these beauty’s off the lot in 38 fully loaded and spend less than 800 dollars with its 85 HP engine. Well it’s not 1938 anymore and this the only thing 1938 about this beauty is the body. The all steel car was painted in a teal blue that compliments the lines of the vehicle nicely. The weld wheels go well with the rest of the car but it’s not until you get around to the back that you notice this thing got some meat under there. The rear was mini-tubbed to accommodate the much wider wheels but the result was well worth it. The other thing you notice is the custom Flow master exhaust with the Corvette tips centered and coming out the middle giving it a one-off look. Under the hood is a very stout 355 that puts out plenty of power to get this 38 down the road. The new 4 core radiator keeps everything nice and cool even when sitting in traffic. The TH400 transmission shifts out nice and smooth with a quick downshift when you hit the pedal. Inside the Tweed interior is in good condition with the bucket seats having a nice cradle that will hold you in place. The dash looks great with the blue paint giving off a great contrast to the grey. Yet still the best part of this Sedan must be the suicide doors in the rear. If you have been wanting a fun car to drive that has good power great looks and decent price tag this 38 Chevy is for you. Options on this 1938 Chevrolet Sedan Streetrod AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Cloth Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels and Radial Tires. The body style is so beautiful, there is no need to chop or channel, by simply smoothing and simplifying, a custom looking body is the result. This sedan sits on its original chassis that has been modified to accommodate a Mustang II front suspension and air ride and has been powder coated for durability. The LS2 is mostly stock but does have a custom made air intake which utilizes a classic style air cleaner from a '56 Buick Nailhead. To stay true to the car, custom valve covers have been made as well to sport the "Plymouth" name. The LS2 breathes through Sanderson headers and dual exhaust that exits through a center outlet. The transmission is a 4L80-E automatic with overdrive. The interior is very tastefully done with saddle leather throughout. Wood grain on the dash and window surrounds give a classy look as well as the original steering wheel. 1964 Cadillac Sedan Deville

Engine: 429 CID V8
Transmission: 3 Speed Automatic
Mileage: 69535 ( undocumented )

For Sale in our Dallas/Ft.Worth showroom is a smooth riding 1964 Cadillac Sedan Deville. If you enjoy a long comfortable cruise and want to feel as if you’re gliding on air while doing so, then this is the vehicle for you. In 1964, it was time for another facelift to the De Ville series, this was a very minor one though. They decided to have a bi-angular grille that formed a V-Shape along both its vertical and horizontal planes. The main horizontal grille bar, now carried itself around the body sides as well. Cadillac continued to rock the classic “tailfins” which so many have become accustomed too, with a new fine-blade design carrying on the tradition. The major change to this year model came in its engine compartment, now sporting a hefty 8-Cyl 429 CID motor, creating approximately 340 HP. Other stand out features to this vehicle include original interior and original paint. The paint is in relatively good shape, except for a few small patina spots scattered randomly without. The interior to this vehicle is gorgeous, including the dash and headliner, amazingly the interior shows very minimal wear, especially considering its age. Also, another cool feature is the addition of Ziebart, which was a brand-new anti-rusting technology, back when this vehicle was released. The owner has recently installed a new fuel-pump and radiator, less than a 100 miles on it since being completed. Finally, when cruising around in this jolly-big-body you’ll need a way to keep cool. Don’t worry, as this vehicle comes with an after market A/C unit installed already. To view this vehicle in greater detail including HD pictures and videos, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. 1977 Cadillac Sedan Deville

Engine: 425 CID V8
Transmission: TH-400 Automatic
Mileage: 37410 ( undocumented )

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Dallas Showroom is a fifth generation 1977 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. Cadillacs have been known for large engines and this one is no excuse with a 425 cubic inch V8 under the hood. A TH-400 automatic transmission transfers the power to the pavement with ease providing a nice smooth drive and ride. Cadillac celebrated its 75th anniversary in 1977 and introduced a smaller version of the DeVille for its fifth generation. A higher roofline was key to the new design, it resulted in the car being over nine inches shorter, four inches narrower, and weighing in a half ton lighter than the previous model year. This design change also resulted in a more headroom, legroom, and a larger trunk. The weight reduction was key, as it helped improve fuel economy and emissions to meet the new regulations made by the Federal Government. The copper paint on this 77’ Cadillac is believed to be original as is the copper colored leather upholstery. Both the paint and interior have aged well, as there are minimal signs of wear. The odometer reads 37,410, which is believed to be the actual mileage on the car. Options for the 1977 Cadillac Sedan DeVille include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cruise Control, Leather Interior, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Seats, Power Antenna, Rear Window Defogger, Tilt Wheel, Hub Caps, and White Wall Radial Tires. With all this equipment, a large engine and cushy seats, any long trip would be a delight.
