| Need a Jeep? Check out this awesome 1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep! It has the original numbers matching 4 cylinder engine and 3-speed manual transmission with added overdrive. This Willys has only 77,910 miles on it as well. Options include: manual convertible top, seat belts, and vinyl interior. The Jeep was restored in the spring of 2006 with the engine being rebuilt by Northstar Willys out of Dassell, MN, and the gearbox/transfer case was rebuilt by 4WD Specialists in Quad City, IL. The suspension, body, and axles were rebuilt by the current owner. 5 new Firestone vintage truck "knobby" tires were installed during the restoration. The current owner also added Saturn overdrive. The Willys comes with the correct jack, lug wrench, and 2 pc engine crank in the toolbox below the passenger seat. The current owner has even fabricated a vinyl half cab top that fits the Jeep as well. Durning the restoration, a few patch panels were welded in, but the Jeep is mostly original with matching tub and tailgate numbers. It was located on the same farm in northern illinois from 1948 until restoration began. The first two years of the Jeep are unknown. It also comes with Willys Jeep historical information.
