| 1968 Plymouth Road Runner 426 Hemi for sale. That's right, this is the real deal - a Galen Govier certified and documented, all original factory Hemi! This car is as close to original as it gets. All numbers matching; engine, transmission, and rear end. This Hemi is just as it came from the Lynch Road Michigan plant on February 21, 1968. Factory 426 Hemi bored .030 over, blueprinted and balanced. Original 727 auto transmission that has been rebuilt and blueprinted. Original 8 3/4" Limited Slip rear end with 3.23 gears. It still retains all its original sheet metal and tinted glass. Practically everything mechanical has either been replaced or rebuilt, using correct date coded parts when needed. This is a very clean Plymouth that has had one repaint in its original Medium Green Metallic paint. It still looks just like it did from the factory with its red line tires (although now they are radials), green vinyl roof, 3 speed automatic transmission, deluxe grade vinyl split bench seats in black and silver, 3.23 rear axle ratio with sure grip. Lots of factory options including power front disc brakes with rear drum brakes, AM radio, fender mounted turn signal indicators, deluxe vinyl interior, tinted glass, red line tires, vinyl roof and a few dealer options including woodgrain steering wheel, chrome rally wheels and Rusty Jones rust proofing. This is an extremely nice car with just about everything mechanical either rebuilt or replaced. Other options include power steering and seat belts.
