Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a super cool 1974 Plymouth Scamp. The Plymouth Scamp is a variant of the Plymouth Valiant. The '74 Scamps originally came with 318 CID V8s from the factory. This particular example has been upgraded with a beefier 360 CID V8. To compliment the 360, this Scamp has a rebuilt 4 speed manual transmission and an 8 3/4 rear end with Sure Grip and 3.55 gears. With its current set up, this makes for a fun little hot rod to shoot around town. The 360 makes all the right sounds, and the rebuilt trans shifts smoothly which leaves the driver tempted to mash the gas and wind it out. She's a good looking car as well. She sports a dark blue paint job with black accents which gives a sinister look. To complete the look it rides on "dog dish" or "Police" style wheels and hub caps. The interior is very presentable as is the engine bay which makes this a great cruise night vehicle. Overall it is a nice clean solid car that is a nice entry level Mopar, or a great addition to a collection. You can see this 1974 Plymouth Scamp in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or firstname.lastname@example.org with inquiries.
