Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1929 Ford Roadster, which was modeled after the feature car in the November 1977 issue of Hot Rod Magazine. This car was completed in 1988, and it has definitely been babied in its life with slightly more than 11,000 on the odometer. This car uses a Gibbons fiberglass body painted in a bright metallic silver with a removable Carson top with a mild chop. There is a flip-up rumble seat if you want to bring a couple close friends along for a cruise, and the car's look is finished off with staggered-width Centerline aluminum wheels (15x5 front, 15x8 rear) and tasteful chrome on the front axle and the side axle links. Under the custom-made Rootlieb four-piece steel hood sits a 350 CID V8 that has been upgraded with Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock 600 cfm four-barrel carb with electric choke, electric fuel pump and hugger headers. This engine is backed by a Turbo 350 three-speed automatic that sends power to the rear wheels through a nine-inch rear end with 3.55 gears. For added performance and handling, this 1929 Ford Roadster rides on a custom-made, fully boxed frame Koni coil-over shocks and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes.
Options on this 1929 Ford Roadster include leather interior, rally wheels and radial tires. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1929 Ford Roadster, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com.
