This incredible representation of modified customized GM American muscle was featured in the July 2008 issue of Super Chevy Magazine in all its' glory. This Camaro has been a one owner since the completion of its' full restoration and build in 2008. Its powered by a bored and stroked 350 which equates to the total displacement to 383 C.I.D. and a calculated 475 horsepower with an Eagle rotating assembly, Keith Black pistons, Crane Cam, polished Edelbrock aluminum Air Gap intake sitting atop a custom built set of Dart Pro Comp Heads with roller rockers and the fire is controlled by MSD. A "March" polished serpentine belt pulley system houses the polished mini a/c compressor, power steering pump and a chrome alternator. Hooker shorty headers with a ceramic jet coat handles the waste produced by this powerhouse. A custom built 4L80 automatic transmission is handling all that power and transferring it to the payment and is computer controlled by a Compushift unit located in the glovebox. That drivetrain is held in place with a custom G-Force cross member. Lowered 3 inches in the front with a full set of Hotchkis sport tuned suspension and a Nascar size sway bars and Bilstein shocks. Slide-A-Link adjustable rear traction bars to adjust preload on rear springs attached to a 10 bolt Moser posi rear with Superior forged axles. Energy Suspension bushings cushion the entire body and suspension system. The frame rails are strengthened with welded in sub-frame connectors. To stop all that power a Wilwood 4 wheel disc brake system with slotted and cross drilled rotors were employed with a SBSC proportioning valve and a custom hydro boost assist system held together by full stainless steel lines and AN fittings. All brand new sheet metal was used for the build with the exception of the original roof panel. The floor was modified to accommodate the new 4L80 transmission and a custom fabbed front grill and split bumpers along with a smoothed front valance to finish out the bodywork. The car is adorned in a House of Colors "True Blue" Pearl hue accented by white pearl "Z" stripes with air brushed flames and z-28 emblems. The wheel package consists of Boyd Coddington custom built wheels and Nitto 555 tires with 17's in the front and 18's in the rear. The interior sports numerous options and comforts with equipment such as, power reclining seats, power windows, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage air a/c system, tilt wheel, JL stereo system, Chrome fire extinguisher and countless other accents and amenities for your driving pleasure.
