1969 Plymouth Road Runner

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to offer a car that needs no introduction, the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. Plymouth had a system, the "Rapid Transit System" and here is an opportunity to obtain a really clean B-Body Mopar with stunning curb appeal! Plymouth obtained permission from Warner Bros.-Seven Arts™ to use the Road Runner name and likeness from their Wile E. Coyote™ and the Road Runner™ cartoons (as well as a "beep, beep" horn). The Plymouth Road Runner was based on the Chrysler B platform (the same as the Belvedere and Satellite), as a back-to-basics mid-size performance car. This Mopar is finished in Honey Bronze with a matte-black fiberglass liftoff hood (including “show rods" for show) and a black vinyl top. The interior houses a matching Honey Bronze vinyl with a bench seat and OEM woodgrain steering wheel. The dash retains an OEM dial AM radio, but does have a few vital modern Auto Meter™ gauges to keep things in check. Cold modern air conditioning also keeps you cool on a hot summer day! Under the hood there is a 383 cid (marketed as the "383 Road Runner" engine) stroked to a strong 477 cid, backed by a rebuilt 727 Torqueflight automatic transmission with a 3:55 gear in the rear. Putting the power to the pavement are Boyd Coddington™ performance wheels with Dunlop™ 245/45Z17 on the front and 255/45R18 on the rear, giving this car an amazing stance! When there is this type of setup let's also add Hydrotech™ power brakes with Wilwood's™ in the front. Beep Beep!

This 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner is for sale in our Atlanta Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
