1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 6 Pack For Sale

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 with a 4-speed Pistol Grip shifter!

Most in the business have a soft spot for three pedals and eight cylinders and this beauty is no exception to that! Unlike the big blocks offered by GM and Ford, the Mopar boys were really ahead of the curve with their 440. This Original 440 6 Pack Car is a Gem. Set up with the 6 pack was rated at 390HP & it is widely believed that these figures were way understated. The fender tag on this one tells you just how special it really is. This engine seems to be a prime example of a well-built and well-maintained engine with no concerning smoke, sounds, or behavior. Go back from the awesome 440, to the 4-speed manual A-833 transmission, and this beauty is also equipped with the A34 Code, the famed "Super Track Pak Package"! 4.10 Ratio in a 9 3/4 Dana Axle w/ Sure Grip, 7 Blade Torque Drive Fan, 26? Radiator w/ Shroud, Suspension Handling Package and Power Front Disc Brakes. This was only available in 440 & 426 Hemi w/ 4 Speeds, adding to the desirability of this Challenger. This is a WINNING combination in "Go Mango" orange color with a nice black interior! The exterior shows no major wear and tear. The underside shows it has been driven and enjoyed, but not abused, having received a body of thorough restoration by Rick Kreuziger. This 1970 Dodge Challenger Pistol Grip is offered by the Houston sales staff and can be seen in full detail on our website.
