1935 Ford Roadster

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 3 owner, 1935 Ford Roadster. This car is no replica, it's a real deal Henry Ford Steel 1935 Ford. The owner claims it's a numbers matching car with only 43,500 actual miles traveled since leaving Dearborn. It has been lovingly restored to its factory new splendor. First let's state the obvious; this car has a very regal aura about it; from the near-perfect Dearborn Blue paint, contrasting the brown interior, riding on red wires wheels, encased in wide white wall tires - this is a car to arrive in! The lovely tan top looks so classy it's hard to agree if it looks better with the roof up or down. Adding to the flair of this Art Deco classic is the rumble seat which offers plenty of leg and storage room.

Now lest talk about that famous Ford powerplant. This 'model 48' owns the road with it's original 221 cubic inch Flat head V8 mated to a 3 Speed, floor shifted transmission. It moves with authority thanks to the 85hp and 144lb-ft of torque twisting a 3.90 rear gear. Its runs near whisper quite like a flathead should! This car is a great example of how well Henry and his team designed them. It's no wonder Ford was the number one selling car in the world. Every operation of the switches, dials and gauges is perfect. Everything works and the steering and shifting operation is butter smooth. It's not often you find an 85 year old car of any type in this condition, never mind having only turning 43,000 miles, and only going through three owners! This car will take you back yet drives and operates in a way that's a pleasure to experience. Take advantage of this opportunity to own a great piece of American history.
