A one year-only body style, closing out the 1950's after the 55-57 Bel Air's, before '59 Impalas took on an entirely different look. Boy does this car look neat as a hardtop coupe. Anyone who watched George Lucas' 'American Graffiti' in the summer of 1973- staring Ron Howard, Harrison Ford, Richard Dreyfuss, Cindy Williams and others will recognize this car, where another white 1958 Impala was featured in several scenes the film. That car has an estimated value in excess of $1. 2M now. This car looks very good outwardly, and is a nice entry-level classic for anyone looking to break into the hobby with a respectable, notably famous body style.
